Ch. 2 Reboot, Pages 7-8 (Patreon)

OMG these pages took so much longer than I thought they would. Why? Well. Aside from getting almost no sleep for like a week, I now, very unexpectedly, own two budgies. If you have known me long enough, I have had 3 times in my life when I suddenly and without any planning became a budgie owner. Once when a friend gave me one (without asking my parents if it was okay!) as a birthday gift, once when I was taking out the trash in Tokyo and there was a little blue budgie just sitting there on the sidewalk, and now I have budgies again because a lady in the neighborhood very badly needed to rehome her two budgies that have not been socialized with humans at all. My daughter, who LOVES birds, is absolutely ecstatic that we have these guys but I don't think we got them in great health (their diet was pretty bad and one is an eat beast chubby bubby) so I would not be surprised if one doesn't make it. Fingers crossed they both survive. Doing my best to get them used to better foods, getting them used to people, etc. They don't take up that much of my time but it certainly wasn't something I was expecting to deal with last week.

Anyway...

I think these pages took longer than the background heavy first few pages, but I actually enjoyed these way less. They slowed my computer down and I was ready to be done with them, so they aren't perfect but time to move on. I am going to try to get the next page up this week but I will only post one. I'm tired and really just want to go to bed early if I can.
