Ch. 2, Pages 5-6 (Patreon)

My kid started school a couple of weeks ago and there were quite a few parent/teacher things I had to attend, but now she's getting used to kindergarten and riding the bus and I have been able to get quite a bit of work done. I've actually worked ahead a little (I'm almost done with page 7, inks are done for page 8, started page 9 but not much progress yet) so next week I should have the next three pages finished. 

I felt so out of practice with sound effects for some reason! Maybe it's because I haven't been reading many comics lately. 

Behind The Scenes

Thumbnails, though I already added the panels and word balloons here.

Did some inking and also did spot blacking in this step, even though I normally wait and do that when I do shadows. The characters are a slightly different shade of white (I thought it looked kind of cool haha) because I had already gone in and done silhouettes but forgot to screengrab the inking and added a color overlay. I like the effect though so I might do this in the future :D
