Chapter 2 Reboot, Page 21 (Patreon)

This took so long to do because I had to draw all that monster blood!!

This is nearly identical to the original page in the black and white version (except for the top left panel) so it's pretty interesting to compare them side by side.

I made a thumbnail based on how the original looked.

Here's the original, just flipped. So obviously quite close to the finished version but with some things removed or added (like a gown! haha)

Line art and spot blacking. 

Silhouettes. This helped me to separate the dirt piles from the snake bits, heh.

Flats... Seeing it in color for the first time!

Shadows! I probably should have added more because of where I ended up putting the sun but I am always hesitant to over-shadow...

Highlights and gradation... and BLOOOOD. So not fun to draw all that.

Textures and patterns, also added some lighting effects. 

Dialogue and sound effects. Not too much work for this page.
