After two months as Captain D'Angelo's yeoman, David/Delilah is still struggling with their dual nature and selfish bedroom habits...

I had incredible fun revisiting the world of Pleasure Drone in this sequel. It's zany sci-fi fun!

For those who missed the first one, I've attached the PDF below! Or you can CLICK HERE.

Beautiful images and great character development. I particularly enjoyed the very clever and amusing dialogue between all the different characters. I love the cynical responses of Alice to David/Corinne. I’m sure some of her ‘robot like’ responses to Corinne are, if possible for an AI, said with tongue in cheek (circuitry in networks). I also can see the pleasure Captain D’Angelo much to David’s underlying is enjoying the shifts in her power status with David. As for David/Corinne her core underlying chauvinisms and self absorbed sense of self is still ever present even in her new form.

OMG... I hope she'll be rescued ASAP... ❣️

I love this story! It was such a pleasure to revisit this universe. Thank you for the trip, Emory!

What could possibly go wrong with this plan?

Wojtek

Emory, beautifully written but the first page scientifically incorrect. (in other words is more fiction than science) Can everyone in space hear you scream? In space, the vacuum of space prevents the propagation of sound waves, so there is no air to carry sound. Therefore, if you screamed in space, there would be no medium to transmit sound waves and no one would be able to hear you. Alice as an AI should know this, or load her some update where Adam Savage does an experiment in one of the “Mythbusters” episodes on whether sound is transmitted in a tube where there is a vacuum. Very informative! "Mythbusters" rules!

I dunno... what's the purpose of a pleasure drone?

Phoebe Nocturne

Delilah, honey... I don't think you've thought this plan through even a tiny bit... Definitely looking forward to seeing whatever misadventures happen this time! I enjoyed the first part a lot, and the ending left so many possibilities open. So I've been hoping this whole time to see it continued somehow~

To serve as a metaphor for trans people mostly 😜

Not my particular cup of tea, but the artwork is excellent as always.

Kris Greg

What a fun dose of science fiction. I can't wait for the next part.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Kris! I'm having so much fun with it.

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, Phoebe! LOL - Yeah, Delilah tends to leap before she looks, doesn't she? Maybe it's part of her charm, though maybe not the smartest strategy when facing down Syndicate enforcers.

Emory Ahlberg

Hehe, thanks, Wojtek! I was actually riffing of the tagline from Aliens... "In space no one can hear your scream." 😊

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Ella! It's so fun to get to do sci-fi again. 😊

Thanks, Gemma! I always envisioned Alice's humor as this dry, almost accidental thing. She’s not programmed to be funny, but her logic and literal interpretations just happen to land that way. 😂 And yeah, Corinne is absolutely reveling in this power shift. Their whole dynamic is built on this push and pull, and suddenly she has this massive advantage. It's not just about the pleasure drone body for her, it's about finally having David in a position where she can call the shots, literally and figuratively. It's payback, but it's also, I think, something she secretly enjoys on a deeper level. Their rivalry is so tangled up with their attraction, and this just adds another layer to it.
