Taylor prepares for his biggest experiment yet - attending MIT as a young woman - but mastering quantum physics might be easier than mastering femininity!

Wonderful. I'm loving the slow burn approach. Taylor is delightfully dense in that way geniuses often seem to be (apparently. I've not met that many to make comparisons). I hope that Alicia is bi or this potential romance isn't going anywhere! A couple of minor errors: the transition (hah!) from page 2-3 has the word 'coffee' repeated. Bottom of page 4, the sentence is missing it's ending - big, beefy jerks...

Taylor breaking lesbian hearts

Love Taylor not relaxing she’s being asked out. I too was that level of oblivious it’s fun to see.

Emory Ahlberg

Poor Alicia! But yes Taylor is tragically oblivious lol

Samantha Louise

Same. When I was in high school all of this one girl’s friends kept coming up to me saying she liked me and I should ask her out. I did not get the obvious hint, thought they were mistaken, finally she had to come up to me and tell me herself, “deadname I really like you.” I said “oh,” and ran home to ask my mom what I should do never had a girl like me before. Funny thing is she’s married to a trans woman who she met and dated before she started transitioning. Attracted all the eggs.

And for more me being oblivious, went on a first date with a girl from okcupid thought it went fine and she mentioned having another. Later that night she sent me photos and I very politely told her, “hey not sure if you’re aware but your nipples are showing. Just wanted to let you know if you weren’t aware.” It was a fucking fishnet bodysuit and it never occurred to me she was trying to flirt/hit on me with sexy pics. That second date did not happen after that response from me.

Emory Ahlberg

LMAO 💕 That is amazing. Samantha, I may need to use your experiences in awkward obliviousness as research for Taylor!

Loving how the story is developing. I was hoping Taylor was going to enjoy wearing the pantyhose...

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Jerome! He DID forget he was wearing them, and don't worry this won't be the last time...

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks so much, Ellen! I'm glad you're enjoying the way Taylor's story is unfolding! I do love to let character development and relationships simmer a bit... Yeah, Taylor is a bit dense and oblivious. Also, he has poured so much of his energy into academic achievement, using it as both a shield and his primary way of navigating the world, so for now there's not much bandwidth left for interpreting social signals. 🤣 And a big thank you for catching those errors! All fixed now.

Ellen Mellor

Dense and oblivious? I don't identify with Taylor in this respect at all. Also, we need a crossover with this story and Alyson's How To Fly so Maxine can get caught between two cute girls called Taylor. And (other) Taylor can get exasperated at how exhausting dealing with two cute, dense, oblivious, shy and anxious trans girls...

2026-09-14 23:00 Can we trully say "she" about Taylor. He's define himself as a man. The clothes are just kind of cosmetic actually. I don't know if i'm the only one but i can't read the last picture. ( with mit tshirt) I see she exist but when i want to reach her it drop directly to the first image without text.

Loving the story so far, can hardly wait to read what’s going to happen to “her” at MIT and if Alicia will see Taylor in Boston and recognise him dressed in women’s clothing and possibly confront him about it and thus be brought into the secret, meaning that Taylor will then have someone in Boston “she” can talk to about it 🤔

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Nolwenn! 💕 Taylor certainly wouldn't consider himself a girl! Regarding the last page - everything seems to be looking okay on my end. Are you still having issues?

What I’m loving most about this story is that, although it’s a familiar theme, you’re treating it with considerably more thought, depth and sensitivity. What’s more, the essential detail of Taylor’s gynecomastia, which has completely dominated his life for his entire adolescence, has shaped his character and personality to the extent that not only is he an obsessively gifted student, but he has also become withdrawn, socially awkward and reclusive. So when his mother’s otherwise wacky solution turns out to be the only logical one, he’s reluctant, but recognises that there isn’t an alternative. And it also explains why he’s determined to maintain his male identity internally, regardless of any outward appearance to the contrary. As far as he’s concerned, the female pretence is temporary means to an end. It remains to be seen how practical that will be - and Taylor is nothing if not practical - so he may find himself becoming more feminine simply because it’s more comfortable and socially easier. The last picture is a great clue!

Great chapter Emory. Love the slow build up. I can almost feel the anxiety, nervousness building that is building up in Taylor. I’m also wondering what will happen when, I suspect, Taylor crosses paths as a girl with Alicia in Boston? Will she understand and further contribute to ensuring Taylor passes as a girl? I also liked the use of colours in Taylor’s dialogue as it from blue to pink to show Taylor’s female voice. Look forward to Taylor’s voice always being in the pink!

cant wait for the next chapter

Thank you so much, Robert. You’re right that - for now - Taylor very much considers himself a guy and feels more like an interloper. We’ll see how long that will end up being the case!

Emory Ahlberg

I definitely planted the seed of Alicia also being in Boston. Taylor seems to have missed that important detail!

36C !! Really ? 36DD I would say :-)
