Liam, you might hate what was done to you, but babe you turned out so amazing. Those murder eyes are incredible, she could hate fuck me to death any day. Hannah, you are so adorable. It's incredible. What lies behind that smile?

Gemma

Beautiful images of both Liam and Hanna. In the 1st image of Liam looks so pretty and sexy. I can only imagine his/ her disgust in particular by the way the design of her costume looks like two hands embracing her breasts. Hanna looks so pretty. The second image here is particularly appealing. I was not aware of how complete and far along she was in the feminisation process. Makes me wonder and hope that other protagonists in your stories undergo a similar full feminisation process?!

Tim

Oh no... Soledad, too?

Jade Diaz

I honestly think Liam might be one of the most beautiful victims Emory’s ever created. He absolutely refuses to take any pleasure in this transformation but undeniably gorgeous.

Gemma

As you would know there is an exception to every rule Tim, so maybe not Soledad. I’m sure that Soledad, and maybe some of those who have undertaken full transition may like reacquainting themselves with each other down the track.

Jade Diaz

I don’t think Liam really cares about any of that. He wants to lash out and hurt people he sees as complicit in his mutilation. Whether he lives or dies doesn’t seem to matter very much at all.

Robertlouis

So, Hanna has had THE surgery, and Liam hasn’t. Hardly surprising really - which surgeon would be brave enough to approach Liam with a scalpel, even under a full anaesthetic? They both look stunning nonetheless, and I really look forward to learning a lot more about their previous lives.

Joe

I also like the “full transformation” makes me hope that Nikki and some of the other girls like Olivia might someday go through the same process

Crewchick

Liam may still get "THE surgery" if he looses this competition!?! At least that may be what his "employer" has planned. We will see what transpires as a result of all the chaos we know is coming.

Emory Ahlberg

LOL, hell yes. I am having fun writing Liam as a firestorm contained in a beautiful, unwanted bottle. I think she’s learned that her anger is the only thing they can’t take away. That smile is the most terrifying thing about Hannah. Where Liam fights, Hannah has retreated so far inward that the mask is almost all that’s left. The question I always ask is whether "Henrik" is still in there, or if the adorable doll persona has consumed him entirely. She’s the ghost in the machine.

Emory Ahlberg

Yep. Liam’s change is especially cruel because he was already insecure about being a "beta" so for that to be used against him is a specific kind of hell tailored just for him. And for him to feel pleasure in this new body would be the ultimate act of surrender, the final proof that they didn’t just change him, but conquered him completely.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Robert! I find the contrast between their captors’ motivations fascinating. Hannah’s "employer" is a perfectionist. For him, she’s a work of art, and gender confirmation surgery was the final, essential brushstroke on his masterpiece. He needed her to be “finished.” The Bear, on the other hand, thrives on the ongoing psychological torment. Keeping Liam physically unresolved is part of that control. He wants the war inside him to never truly end.

Crewchick

Interesting! So Emery, do you think gender confirmation surgery (is it really "confirmation" if it is imposed against the patient's will) would end the war inside Liam at some point? Would he have to finally acquiesce to an irreversible fate once complete? Not that he would necessarily concede any victory to The Bear. That is a level of hatred not even the grave will be able to extinguish, and justly so. But any hate for who he is or what he has been made into could mellow into a resigned acceptance? It would seem critical to continued existence without going crazy. At his age I presume to be in his mid 20's, and appearing to be fit and healthy, except for the drinking (but maybe that is a recent developed form of self medication trying to cope with so much radical change), Liam/Liza could wind up spending far more of his/her life as a woman than she ever spent as a man.

Crewchick

It is hard to say about Henrik without knowing more about him. If he was as equally uptight, quiet and demure as Hannah, flipping that switch may not have been so hard. I think for some there is such a thing as survival stoicism. One empties themselves of pride, ambition, possession, anger and anything else that might weigh them down and impede their resilience. Receiving the full transition package may have aided Hannah in embracing this stoicism. Knowing it is irreversible means any emotion and thought focused on reversing what was done is wasted. There is no going back to what was. Who and what you are now is the new normal. It is a hard thing to accept. But once accepted it unchains them from a past that no longer fits and frees them up to focus on the future rather than the past. But they also say quiet water run deep. Just because Hannah appears quiet and demure, does not mean that Henrik or Hannah may not harbor a hatred for their employer they are holding deep down inside waiting for the perfect opportunity to exploit that will eventually allow them a sense of vengeance or closure. I may be wrong, perhaps Hannah’s “boss” is only an artist interested only in the esthetics of his work, but I suspect for him sex is a fringe benefit or perhaps a test of the thoroughness of his artistry. It could be in such a moment when Hannah seems so docile and compliant in an act she had done dozens or hundreds of times before, going down on her boss that Heinrich might rise one last time. Pulling out a large knife he would not simplify castrate his boss, but violently cut off his dick and balls and shove them in his boss’ mouth so he can literally taste the humiliation and fear before plunging the knife deep into his boss’s heart. Like a light switch going off and then on again Heinrich would noticeably exit, perhaps for the very last time and Hannah re-awaken. Then Hannah would very methodically and dispassionately clean up any evidence of her presence, go to her room shower and dress, and pack a bag, all with a matter of fact manner as if nothing whatsoever just happen. Then depart her prison once and for all leaving only the sound of her high heels clicking behind her after she closes the door. A true femme fatal! Now if Heinrich’s tech skills were any good, perhaps he was even able to make a few more unknown appearances where he was able to covertly and untraceably transfer assets from his bosses accounts to one he created for Hannah so she was not without means and could continue to live in a style she was accustom. Yes my friend quit waters can run very deep in deed!

That is kind of funny or ironic in a way. Liam saw himself as a Beta, and chased after "things" he thought would make him or at least help him better present or be perceived as an alpha. So he chased the success and money from him programming. He wanted the expensive apartment, the "Tesla" (🤦‍♂️), and many other things he could only get with wealth. But Liam may find it is far easier for him to become an Alpha female with his exceptionally high intelligence, that killer body and his fiery anger than it ever would have been for him to become an alpha male chasing after all those things that will never be enough. For one thing with that body he will likely be under estimated by almost every male he encounters. That is something to be strategical exploited. Especially since Liam thinks like a man because he is or at least was one. Likewise his strength in STEM and coding, things Women are not yet well enough represented in, will take many by surprise. So his work may actually stand out far more than it had while he was a man. It might be worth Liam reading or re-reading from a new perspective, Oliver Goldsmith, Ibsen, Oscar Wild, of course Jane Austin and several other authors of that period to see just how he can use his new found female identify to his/her advantage, even while the social and business environments still seem so structured to disadvantage and exploit women. Like I said at the start, if approached right, Liza (or whatever name Liam might pick of her own choosing) may be able to be far more alpha than Liam could have ever hoped, and all from things innately hers, not things bought to impress.

Jade Diaz

In Liam’s kind of world, women are never alpha, and as I’ve pointed out several times now, to allow himself to find any advantage in becoming a woman is to completely lose his sense of who he is. It represents ultimately a complete failure, not only if his own masculinity but also the world view he built his life around.

Crewchick

That may have been Liam’s pre-capture world view (which might also have made him a candidate for Xu’s Second Dawn if the Bear had not grabbed him first), but that view is currently in ashes all around him. Liam thought he had invented the perfect code that would make him the next Elon Musk (rich and insufferable, a true beta trying to act like an alpha). But what if in the final testing that program failed? Would Liam have drank himself into oblivion never to code anything else again? He would be upset, even depressed and angry for a bit, but would eventually fix the problem or start from scratch on something new and better because that is what tech bros do. It does not mean he has given into his critics and detractors. He would simply be changing the playing field and metric for his success. The survival stoicism I have talked about is kind of the same thing. Liam can’t wallow in ashes drunk and angry forever. That would be conceding the war to Bear and showing the world Liam truly was and only ever could be beta. At some point Liam has to make a phoenix decision. He can either wallow in the ashes or rise from them. I have worked with a lot of disabled veterans. These were almost all alpha males and a few alpha females. Losing as much as they had destroyed much of how they saw and thought of themselves. They could have all become drunk angry Lieutenant Dans, angry at the world and wallowing in anger and self pity. But almost all of them found their “new normal”. It was not conceding to the enemy and accepting the lesser being the enemy tried to inflict on them. It was allowing the essence of what was inside of them to shine out despite all the effort to diminish it. These were athletes before their injuries and they became athletes after their injuries. Their competitive spirit still raged, they just changed the playing field on which they showed it. Liam has to acknowledge and accept this new normal if he is to thrive or even simply continue to live. I think Liam is capable of this. He is barely 25 at my best guess. The human brain is elastic and still developing until 25. Males also mature far slower than females. I think Liam has much mental and emotional maturity still ahead for him. Unless of course you want Liam to be Emory’s first self destructive suicidal character incapable of growth and development. Liam does not need the final surgery to embrace his new normal, though in my personal opinion it might help him embrace his new normal as something permanent and irreversible. It gives him no other choice but all in or all out. No pun intended. And so far all out is not servicing him well. I don’t know if Liam can do all that mental and emotional growing in a few hours before the contest. But something maybe Emory provides in a post script written months or years after the contest letting us know what became of all the characters.

Crewchick

Liam/Liza also does not need to let Bear name him/her. Naming is powerful. It is how others exercise dominance and control over us (Gulf of America anyone?) and how we assert our own independence and identity. We saw this in Half Sisters. Even though the circumstances were different, Scott, did not keep the name Sophia that Mrs. Ferris had given him. When she accepted her situation and new relationship with Mrs. Ferris she renamed and re-invented herself "Sandy". Liam can embrace his new female exterior while refusing to accept the Bears control of it by renaming and reinventing herself with a name other than "Liza". With all due respect to Liza Doolittle and Liza Minnelli, today that name to me give off stripper vibes, which makes sense seeing it was given by a Russian oligarch. But Liam could rename herself "Dierdre" or 'Deirbhile", (two of my favorite Irish names) or maybe 'Labhaoise" (meaning "warrior maiden" or Lasarina (which might be on character since it means "flame wine"!?!). The point is Liam can accept the vessel he must now occupy while denying Bear any ownership or control of that vessel. Bear is not a god. He was simply the tool and obstacle God allowed to enter Liam's life in order for Liam to learn the full depths of his inner strength and resilience, and in time his true power, even if Liam at present seems to be choosing to learn that lesson one bottle at a time.

Crewchick

'And for him to feel pleasure in this new body would be the ultimate act of surrender,...' I don't necessarily agree. The key phrase there should not "in this new body" but "in his body". Liam's body is not new, it is still HIS". Thus why should he not take pleasure in his body, simply because outsides forces have reshaped it? The key is for Liam to learn and embrace that outside forces can not diminish his own ownership and relationship with his/her own body. No matter how Bear tries he can not shape what is inside Liam, only what is outside. SO whatever Bear does to Liam's body, it is still Liam's body and not Bear's. If Liam chooses to feel pleasure in his body he does so because he has chosen so, not because Bear allows him. Someone accidentally or even intentionally builds a swimming pool on your property without your consent, they have no legal right to demand payment from you for it, and you have every right to enjoy that new pool because it is on your property and is now yours regardless of what the builder may claim or demand. Or one can fill it in and never use it. But on a 96 degree day on the East Coast that sounds a bit like cutting off one's nose to spite their face. The point is Bear can impact Liam externally in ways he has no control over, but internally Bear can do nothing to alter or defeat Liam without Liam's own consent and complicity. Liam's body is not a gift from Bear it is Liam's body. If Liam chooses to enjoy his body it is because Liam has chose to. It is not any gift or benevolence from the Bear.

Jade Diaz

Would I prefer Liam to actualize? Absolutely yes. Do I think it’s going to happen? No, I really don’t.
