Liam's story comes to an end... for now!

EDIT: Added two panels I didn't have time to finish initially. No new writing / story, just split between the new panels where it was a little crowded.

The way you made him look in all of the mansion scenes is just wonderful, an ethereal or otherworldly beauty. Simultaneously a visual pleasure but adding to the harrowing feeling of his story

Alyson Greaves

Yeah, the mansion scenes made me gasp with every page turn. Insanely atmospheric and darkly beautiful.

This is a deep chapter. You made Liam relatable, & left us with another cliffhanger. I'd hate you for all of these cliffhangers if I didn't enjoy your stuff so much. You're the 1st person that I ever subscribed to on Patreon, & I don't see myself stopping until you do.

I wonder how Davis managed to get into contact with Jill's Dad? I can't wait for the next chapter. Im sad that Holly died before she ever got a chance for her and Jill to talk. Emory, I was wondering after the main story for Jack and Jill is finished, you should do a What if series of the story from a different perspective. I got a couple of ideas. What if Conner was captured instead of Jack and Davis was his handler?, What if Jack escaped earlier, but as Semi-Jill with his old voice?, What if Mason was Jack/Jill caretaker consistently without Holly intervention?, What if Madison took over Holly's role to guide Jack/Jill into womanhood?, What if Jack and Mason switch roles (Jack being Mason's caretaker and Mason becomes a woman), etc.

I’m absolutely loving Liam’s story! I find the exploration of the “inverted” dysphoria very interesting. Like, he wasn’t before, but Bear made him trans. And the way you’re writing it is just so well done. For me at least, it feels super easy to connect with, especially the part about dissociation. Thank you so much for another beautiful chapter, Emory! 💕

This chapter—this art—is among the most beautiful and impactful you've created to date. Your thoughtful and thought-provoking prose, together with page after page of some of the most amazing renderings on your site, have really brought Liam to life. The dark beauty of Liam's world is truly breathtaking, yet it's his inner thoughts and the strength he demonstrates that give hope for Liam's future beyond this "beautiful" world.

OMFG what have you done... how many more roofs will you pierce I wonder... "Sky is the limit" some say pfff this does not apply here... why? Because that implies that there is some kind of limit after all... not here obviously... 😁🔥❣️

Omg the lighting in these pieces is some of your best work. Dramatic and divine. Love it!! 😍

2026-09-14 23:00 I really love liam's story's. For me he is the true winner of the contest. His story looks like to much like a dark fuckedup Disney snowkwenn princess story 2.0 sometimes. ( except he didn't sing) And what about the quality of the flashbacks pictures. I love that ambiance.

New edited version ( last feedback hastily written). Thanks for providing Liam’s back story. The psychological insights into Liam’s resistance experience to his feminisation was very powerful. It was also interesting to witness the different elements and themes around gender dysphoria from a different angle. In particular the alternative bargaining prayers to God Liam undertook - ‘God help me form some sense of inner peace.’ This pray arising from his realisations around the physical permanence of his feminisation and seeking some level of inner peace. All of this driven by Liam’s assumptions that Jill’s compliance suggested her full acceptance of her new form. Liam has not as yet learnt about the psychological complexities of Jill’s adaptation to her female form. How she has learnt to ‘accommodate,’ her new physical realities and still maintain her inner core and psyche as a person, one that is not solely defined by physical gender.

Thanks for this chapter! The story and artwork are phenomenal! It really solidifies Liam's story. At first he seemed like an eccentric non-player character. Drunk and obnoxious to the point of almost being comic relief with his acidic sense of irony and humor. The last three chapters have really fleshed him out and make him sympathetically real. As for how Jill's Dad got to the Island, I am not even going to speculate. I suspect we will find out soon enough.

Are you saying “the limit does not exist?” Because that’s what I’m hearing.

Jade Diaz

How sick it is that Liam’s resistance makes him even more desirable to the rich asshole psychopaths. Too strong mentally to be a vegetable, too inflexible to bend. Impossible. I didn’t really think about it carefully until now but it makes sense that Liam would absolutely loathe Jill from “her” propaganda videos even though we know, as readers, that Jill had zero agency in their production and dissemination.

Maggie Heels

Yes... there are no limits for Emory 😁😁😁❣️❣️❣️

How do I find the comic about Mary? She was a soldier but become a woman under the Russians and was forced to get married?

Robertlouis

It’s too late after the orchiectomy, but if ever a victim of Second Dawn deserved to retain his manhood - in every sense - it’s Liam. Of course, we can’t know how many times his story has been repeated in some form or another, but it’s utterly heartbreaking nonetheless, and his response is indomitable, however complex the other reasons might be. It will be very interesting to see if he adjusts to a level of acceptance, although part of me hopes that he doesn’t. What does everyone else think?

Robertlouis

Oh, and Jill’s wrath will be mighty indeed. That’s if Davis is the deserving object of her anger - what if he isn’t? Ooer!

Poor Liam....I'm sure for a lot of us on here it would be the ultimate fantasy but you decribe his anguish beautifully x

Emory Ahlberg

Liam's story is so brutal. His defiance is his anchor, but it's also a constant source of pain. Thank you, Robert!

Emory Ahlberg

Me too, Thomas. That is part of the reason why I really wanted to show his whole story. 💕

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Stacy. Liam was a creator, and they've turned him into a creation.

Emory Ahlberg

His spirit is the ultimate prize for them. To Liam, Jill isn't a person. She's the finished product they're torturing him with every single day.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Diana. I'm so glad Liam's story hit home. I wanted you to meet the armor before you met the man. That acidic humor is his only weapon. 💕 (Sorry I'm only getting to your wonderful comment now!)

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you for this great comment, Gemma. That prayer is the moment the war moves from his body to his mind. He can't see Jill as a person, only as the symbol of what he's being forced to become. Her 'acceptance' is his greatest fear.

Emory Ahlberg

That 'dark Disney princess' comparison is perfect. He's my tragic, non-singing princess, and his victory is simply refusing to break. 💔

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Holly! I wanted it to feel very cinematic - like an HBO miniseries or something. 💕

Emory Ahlberg

LOL - Thank you, both... I'm doing my best to manifest these characters into reality. 😉

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much for this, Tim! 🥰 That "dark beauty" is the most insidious part of his prison. His strength is his refusal to accept their "gift." His hope is a fortress he built inside himself.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much, Ella! That "inverted dysphoria" is his nightmare. His body is being colonized. Dissociation isn't a choice for him, it's the only place left to hide.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Tiki! That unresolved conversation with Holly is so tragic. And wow, those "What If" ideas are great! The one with Mason and Jack switching roles really got my wheels turning.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you so much for that, Kris! Liam's story is all about that internal fight. And hey, cliffhangers are my love language. 😉💕

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, Amber and Alyson. That's exactly it. His beauty is the weapon they use against him. The more ethereal he looks, the more he's erased. He's being perfected into a masterpiece he never wanted to be.
