October's Pinup + Schedule (Patreon)

October is here! 🎃

Our monthly pinup features Nikki in a stunning evening gown! Although Half Sisters is still on hiatus, that doesn't mean we can't check in with everyone's favorite pouty princess. God knows how she ended up in that dress!

This month is packed with content!

Jack & Jill has a catch-up compilation with pinup on the 7th! We're now 27 episodes into Phase 9, so it's the perfect time for a recap - especially since we're approaching the end of this phase. When we last left off, Jill just had a tearful reunion with her dad... I can't wait to get back to them and Clinic 12!

Homecoming continues with Episodes 32 and 33! Kris had a joyful and sexy reunion with Alan... but that doesn't seem like it will last too long with Bella coming to throw a wrench into her new life.

Taylor Made delivers Chapter 13! We're approaching the end of this book. Taylor just had a really lovely experience with Maya, but he still needs to fix things with Abigail and Alicia... Next month, will bring the end of the book with Chapter 14.

Echoes of Eve: Pink Slip arrives on the 23rd! ☄️ This is a second story in the Echoes of Eve universe, written by my amazing friend Helena Grace. She really enjoyed the first Echoes of Eve and wrote an incredible story set in the same world that I'll be creating the art for.

By the way, if you're not reading Helena yet, you're depriving yourself of one of the most thoughtful, sharp, and unique voices in trans fiction. Her stories are full of heart, sly humor, and the kind of emotional precision that sneaks up on you and wrecks your whole day (in the best way). Whether she's writing something whimsical or a slow-burn narrative, Hel's work feels honest and alive. She's the kind of writer who gets under your skin without even trying. Finally, The Halloween Party returns on the 31st! 👻 In what has become a very fun annual tradition, the main characters from the stories will each have a costume pinup! Will they be spooky? Will they be sexy? YES! And you'll get to VOTE on the costumes!

Well, whether it’s only for the fantasy of the pinup, Nikki seems to be embracing her femininity more, with the sophisticated dress and the sleek bob hairdo. She looks great. And hello, Helena, I’m certainly looking forward to reacquainting myself with your work. As always, Emory, it’s a well packed month to welcome autumn, my favourite season, with two shots of Kris and what feels like a titanic showdown in Homecoming, plus the supposedly imminent but never arriving auction in Jack and Jill. So many loose ends to tie up in that one. And then Taylor trying to make amends, plus the excitement of Helena’s return, and Halloween to round things off. Lovely! You do spoil us, you know. x

Thank you so much, Robert! 💕 Nikki has come such a long way, hasn't she? I love seeing her in that evening gown - it really does show how much she's grown. Whether it's just for the fantasy of the pinup or a glimpse of what's to come... well, you'll have to wait and see! 😉 And yes, Helena is incredible! I'm so excited to be collaborating with her on Pink Slip. Her voice is so unique and I think you're really going to love what she's done with the Echoes of Eve universe. Ha! The auction / coming out dinner. I know, I know - but I promise we're getting there! There are just so many threads to weave together first, and I want to make sure it all pays off properly. Phase 9 has grown bigger than I initially planned, but I think (hope!) it'll be worth the wait. Autumn is my favorite season too! There's something special about it - the crisp air, the changing leaves, that sense of... transition. 😉 Thank you for always being so engaged and thoughtful with your comments. Thank you, Wojtek! 💙 Blue really is Nikki's color, isn't it? She looks absolutely stunning in that dress... although her old football uniform was green! As for what she has in mind... well, knowing Nikki, it could be anything! Though I will say that the academic year and Mr. Hutchinson's expectations are never far from her thoughts these days. Whether she's portending to embrace them or plotting her next move of defiance is another question entirely. 😉

So nice to see Nikki. She is looking so pretty and feminine and very sexy, just showing the right amount of cleavage. She would be hard pressed to even think she could ever pass as a guy (ever again). It will be interesting seeing her in upcoming casual and social interactions situations at College with other girls and guys. A whole new world of experiences await pretty Nikki. Can’t wait! In the meantime, the next few episodes of ‘Jack and Jill’ and ‘Homecoming’ are both on a knives edge. Can’t wait to see the next twists and turns in these two stories. Also hoping Taylor made, which appears to be coming to a conclusion, has the happy ending Taylor deserves. It will be interesting to see are more confident, accepting Taylor who embraces more fully a more liberated version of who ‘they are’ (still not sure of right pronoun) in body, mind and spirit.

It looks like a great month! Especially looking forward to the Jack and Jill Catch-up and Part 28. But the image of Nikki has me absolutely blown away. And I am now all the more anxious for Half Sisters return. I may have to console myself hoping Nikki is among the the Halloween pin-ups. Not sure if this image is canonical or simply a pin-up for the fun of it. Even if just for the fun of it, Nikki is absolutely wow! If canonical, it certainly appears to be in the future. How far in the future is not clear. This could be coed Nikki at a sorority formal, or maybe it is a couple years in the future and super model Nikki is attending a fashion industry party in Paris (not Texas) or Milan.

As for whether it's canonical or just a fun pinup... I'll leave that deliciously ambiguous for now. Sometimes these pinups are glimpses into possible futures, sometimes they're just fantasy, and sometimes they're a little of both. But I love your speculation! Coed Nikki at a sorority formal is such a compelling image - can you imagine her navigating that world? Or supermodel... that's equally intriguing. She certainly has the looks for it, and the attitude too once she stops fighting it so hard. Half Sisters will return soon enough, and when it does, I think you'll be pleased with where Nikki's journey goes. In the meantime, the Jack & Jill catch-up should be fun - Phase 9 has gotten quite sprawling and it'll be nice to have everything in one place!

You're absolutely right that she'd be hard pressed to pass as a guy at this point - and whether she realizes it or not, that ship has sailed. College life is going to be quite the experience for her, navigating all those casual and social interactions as just... herself. A whole new world indeed! Jack & Jill and Homecoming are both at such crucial moments right now. I'm excited (and a little nervous!) to see how you all react to what's coming next. Both stories have been building to these turning points for a while. As for Taylor Made... I hope you'll be satisfied with where the story goes. Regarding pronouns - that's part of Taylor's journey, figuring out who they are and what feels right. The beauty of stories like this is that identity isn't always neat and tidy, and sometimes the answer evolves as the person does. I think by the end, things will feel clearer for Taylor... and for readers too. 💖

I both love & hate your schedule. You've got me hooked on so many of your stories that I get impatient, but I respect that you have to take time making them as well as living your own life. It's like waiting for the next season of your shows to come on or waiting for the next book in a series of novels that you like to be published.

So I feel your pain! The good news is that unlike waiting for the next season of a show - or a book that will never be written - I promise these will out this month lol. Emory, you should do What if? stories for Halloween. I got a couple of ideas for the Halloween Pin-ups. You should Chris/Kris into Lady Frankenstein, Jill into Sexy Wicked Witch from West with Green Skin, Cave Woman with a Feminine Unibrow, or Floating Mystical Head from the Haunted Mansion.

Im sorry for adding another comment for this idea, Emory. How about for couple ideas for the Halloween Pin-ups are doing half Pin-ups with short What if description? For example, Jack/Pre-Jill from Phase 3 or 4 manage to escape the island early wearing the dress he/she found from the closet and made it to the mainland while trying to find help, but finds Madison who finds him/her while adjusting them to womanhood, similar to Holly's role. While on the mainland, mostly everyone would be freaked by his/her appearance and male voice. It's an interesting mix of an Halloween Pre-Frankinstein remix of Jack and Jill Phases 3, 7, and 8.

No need to apologize for sharing your ideas! 💕 The concept of Jack/Pre-Jill escaping early and encountering Madison on the mainland is genuinely intriguing - that awkward, in-between state where she is visibly changed but still has a male voice and mannerisms would be such a compelling "What If?" scenario! That said, the Halloween pinups are typically just costume fun rather than full alternate universe scenarios with descriptions. But I'm not ruling out doing a proper "What If?" series at some point - there are so many fascinating roads not taken in these stories that could be explored! I genuinely love the idea.
