Well, this has never happened before...

The poll ended in a tie. 57 votes for Fairytale Ball, 57 votes for New Year's Throughout the Ages. Wow! So... I stared at the results for like ten minutes waiting for one more vote to come in and break it, but nope. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Or whatever.

So I had to make the call, and I went with Fairytale Ball!

I had SO much fun with this theme. Like, maybe too much fun. I may have... strayed a bit from the original concept. Forgive me. You'll (maybe) see what I mean when you look at them! 😅

BUT! The good news is that Throughout the Ages had so much enthusiasm behind it that I'm making it the pinup theme for next month! So everyone who voted for fashion for different decades - your time is coming!

Thank you for voting! Even when you make my job harder because the results are so close! 😂💕

PRINCE Nikki? Are you sure or was that a Freudian slip, Emory? No wonder she’s pouting! Jill in full Cinderella garb, contemplating how many Second Dawn faces she can bend with that frying pan, Kris looking like a perfect Disney Princess, Sandy serene and confident, Soledad with stars and dreams in her eyes, and Nikki, set to call all the hounds of hell on whoever crammed her into that dress. Her expression made me laugh, as well as quake in my boots. A great set of pin ups to start the year. Thank you! ❤️

Hmm, I wonder how many ‘would be princesses’ there are out there? I see Nikki ( with her pout) caption reads prince Nikki (her choice?). Without sounding too critical, this is not the best image of Nikki I have seen. She is looking a bit thicker than she normally appears around the waist. Also wondering with Jill, with fry pan in hand, is she representing Cinderella just after her change and prior to escape from domestic duties? Thanks again for giving me another smile to start the new year.

Thanks for clarification. Her face also looks a bit more squat and rounder than usual,’ (I apologise in advance for trying to be a Nikki aficionado). She still looks beautiful and I always love her pout and what that represents her ongoing psychological resistance and protest).

Emory, you did a wonderful set of pics. Everyone is right, the pout from Nikki is priceless. In her mind, she thinking I need pants, shirt, boots and a sword. Not some yellow dress and a crown. Do I look like a girl? The answer, Yes, yes you do and wonderful girl at that.

I really love some of the subtle details that you include in your images. Often Emory, it is only when I revisit and look more closely at these images, that I spot some of the thoughtfully crafted details you have included on all the beautiful princesses. For example, Nikki’s nails, the pretty feminine designs on her beautifully manicured painted nails. Wow! How undermining this must be on the persona of this former macho man. A further explanation for her extraordinary pout.

Like so many here, I'm a huge Nikki fan... but that scowl goes way beyond just a pout. Did Hutchinson put her in that princess gown? Is he standing behind the camera now, the target of Nikki's death stare? But there's another girl who really caught my attention—Soledad (appearing in just her 3rd pinup compared to Nikki's 138th) is absolutely captivating. The Jasmine costume is perfect, but it's Soledad's expression of pure joy that makes this image pop. How can we not love this girl? I just hope she comes through the upcoming chaos unscathed. Better yet, I hope she emerges with that smile intact and the prospect of a bright future in front of her.

But Holly wasn't one of the pinup princesses, Alex. Regardless, and for what it's worth, Holly ignited a spark in Soledad on Christmas Eve, 2018, and I'm pretty sure we're going to see that spark ignite into a flame, perhaps a bonfire, before September 5, 2020, is done. I believe Soledad just might be carrying Holly's legacy.

Thanks a lot, Wes! I really love Sandy as Cinderella... I chose that because it kind of matches her story! And Kris as Megara... I wasn't sure if I was going to get the hair right, but I like how it turned out. Nikki pouting is always fun lol And big agree about Soledad. She has been the breakout character of the season for me! 💕

Late to the party! But here is my input. Re NYE Pin-ups, WOW! Beautiful! BUT... NIKKI!!!!!! OMG girl! Pouty Princess in deed! That scowl! She looks like she is ready to kill someone. There should be a "behind the photo shoot" video showing Nikki dealing with all the hoops and crinoline. Trying to sit down and looking like an old Lucile Ball Gone with the Wind skit. And getting more and more miserable as dress and princess style not only win, but dominate every battle Nikki tries to fight. It is not Nikki's best look but I find myself hating and loving it at the same time. I think Kris and Soledad probably steal the show for straight up glamor. Jill and Sandy are always beautiful, two of my most favorite (after Nikki) but they look like they are wearing costumes in the middle of the day. Kris and Soledad really look like they have become the princess they are portraying and inviting the viewer in to get to know them better.

And, oh god, a behind the scenes of this photoshoot would be completely hilarious and unhinged. Imagine all the new curses Nikki would make up! I loved both Kris and Soledad in this as well. They stole the show for sure!
