Yes, if you’re a Platinum Star Member reading that, you don’t have to dive deep between the lines to recognise that the island is in chaos, possibly under siege by unknown forces, and that the people under Davis’s command have fragmented. All very reassuring. What they - the members - do next, will have a critical bearing on the eventual outcome. Will they panic on an every man for himself basis, thus creating more chaos? Will they rally to support Davis and protect their investments? Or will they blame Davis for the mayhem and start to take it out on him and his minions, thereby indirectly aiding the captives and those trying to free them? It’s a very tasty choice. 😋

"I was really worried at first when I saw that person with the big gun bust in and shoot Xu and the Evening's MC. I do hope they are both o.k. But after being rushed back to my room by armed men and provided a single split of off brand wine and tiny pack of over salted pretzels I feel so much better and have almost completely forgotten about the whole thing.
