I wonder if Nikki is just too prideful to admit she likes doing girly stuff with Sandy, I know it would be too out of character and would ruin all the pacing for Nikki to just embrace everything but if there wasn’t so much baggage at play I think she wouldn’t mind Zack seeing her all wet and soapy 😉 everyone else will just have to deal with Nikki’s attitude lol. I really wonder how Nikki would react to having the artificial womb described in Jack and Jill, I think it would really send her into the deep end if it happened to her right now but I think her still having her male parts is part of what is driving her current insecurity, as evidenced by the last episode not wanting to go into the female showers and a couple episodes back when she was in the catatonic state part of what scared her the most was whenever Davis was talking about how they had to leave the male anatomy and so they were just going to make Nikki so feminine that whenever she looked down she would feel disgust that her penis doesn’t match the rest of her body, and tragically, I think Nikki deep down knows that to be true on some level but that is not something she can deal with thinking about right now

Thanks, Joe! I do think she likes doing SOME girly stuff with Sandy. She enjoyed the spa day despite herself, and she even like the massages and stuff she got at the makeover before the date with Zach. I think what she really hates is being made to look pretty for OTHER PEOPLE. But, yeah, absolutely anything having to do with the Project De Novo would send her screaming for the hills. And if it actually happened to her - right now, at least - her mind would break.
