Another long one!

I do love historical captions. There is something about them I find to be uniquely intriguing. 💖

France Day

Intriguing indeed, love it.

Emory Ahlberg

Thank you, France! This is the kind of caption story that makes we want to do a whole comic set in the past.

Kitty St. Clare

This is one I certainly would like to see a followup to. I'd like to see what becomes of her during the Reformation, particularly with the hardships faced by the South after the war. Perhaps she has to be married off to a damned Yankee and move with him as he heads west!

France Day

The moods of the past offer a wonderful opportunity for the mind to refocus. It is a silent and restful meditation for the soul, gently allowing it to rebuild its yesterdays. Today is the yesterday of our tomorrow and it's full of stories waiting to be revealed. It is also an immeasurable treasure for creators like you, EA.

Always thanks to upload text file

Ella Cherry

Tg stories set in older times when the gender line was much more defined are so full of exciting possibilities to trap an unwary man! This is a superb example! Love it!

Keleigh W

I love this one! Hope you do more historical ones Emory!

Rex

Great start to this story, but I am wondering if back in Civil War times, did they really have herbal medications that would feminize men?

Emory Ahlberg

Maybe! Lots of plants have phytoestrogens and there's a theory that some ancient trans women consumed estrogen-rich urine from pregnant mares as a form of HRT. (The more you know... 🌠)

Emory Ahlberg

Oooh, wonderful idea, Kitty... I shall certainly keep this in mind.

Emory Ahlberg

That is certainly part of the reason I like them, Ella! Also, I'm a sucker for historical films in general. I mean... The costumes alone are worth the price of admission!

Emory Ahlberg

Thanks, France! I admit, the past feels a bit untapped when it comes to TG story potential...

Ella Cherry

Yes! The costumes are indeed another big reason to enjoy them!

Pelicanboss

Loved it! It sort of reminded me of the movie Triple Echo, a similar situation of a man crossdressing to avoid being in the war. I wonder if Belle (former William) ever found a husband, something very important to the woman of that time.

Perfect pictues Em.....I'm sure after the war he found himself a handsome veteran to settle down with LoL x

Emory Ahlberg

Aw, I hope so! He deserves some peace and happiness. 😉

Emory Ahlberg

That was a fun movie! I only wish the lead made for a more convincing girl 🤣. Hm. Perhaps she did. Maybe we’ll revisit if I can find good pictures.

Jessica Thence

The life of a southern belle. I am not usually a fan of period pieces but this one was a lot of fun!
