Stoked for this episode as I'm a huge fan of A.G's productions! I'm curious - how does A.G. overcome creative block? Has the way in which he works and develops ideas changed over the years?

Lê Hoàng Cao

what’s the process of how did AG record guitar on his latest record “Britpop”?

Yoel Weiss

I would love to know everything about the song 360, what presets and instruments they’re using, which sample packs etc. But more importantly I need to find out more about working with Cirkut, (he is my fav producer and getting him on the show would be 🔥 btw) Like I would ask him what parts Cirkut did and what he learnt from Cirkut and what tools Cirkut uses? Etc.

Tommy Taylor

What synths does AG use on Britpop and to what extent does sound design play a role in crafting a song?

Tommy Taylor

What plugins have defined AGs career?

MJF

Question for AG: At the very beginning of PC Music, were you aware that you were initiating a new aesthetic?

Sebastiaan van Ravenhorst

what is your approach to selecting ideas during the writing/production process? I sometimes have a hard time deciding when I'm making songs if I should solely keep working on this one song in front of me until it's finished, with risk of fatigue or getting bored of the idea, or spend the time more evenly on different songs at the same time, and maintaining a flow of coming up with new ideas every day. thank you!

Eduardo

hey goat, do you usually go for synth gear or vst’s? which one’s specifically do you like to sound design on?

Bismarck

Are there separate “phases” to A.G.’s process of making a track. Meaning is there a distinct difference in process to the beginning exploration phase of looping/finding textures/experimenting and the later stages of arranging/structure/mixing?

Nick Johnson

Would love to hear A.G talk about his process for making and mixing drums, particularly when he's going for that "maximalist" sound he's so great at!

Sliccnut

Would love to see a breakdown of 360

Heck Wes

would love to hear about his approach to Stargon. The metallic sounds really draw me to the song.

- what are examples of creative limitations/"games"/systems you have used while creating music? - can you talk about your approach to composing/sequencing your Soundcloud "DJ" mixes? They feel like albums in of themselves - what are some general principles of arrangement that you think about while constructing tracks?

Martin Della Nina

Do you ever do things that you feel are just not good? And in those cases, do you keep pushing it or let them go and try something new?
