Hello Casefile cast! Fresh patroon member here. Like the Bamberski case, i find the cases discussing the statue of limitations particularly baffling. What cases regarding the status of limitations do you guys find interesting and why? Greetings from the Netherlands

Hi! I hope it's ok to ask this here since it's not specifically related to the cases. I recently noticed that you say dates like 'August one' instead of 'August 1st'. just curious if this is like a broadcasting rule or anything. I've been s listener for 6 yrs now but I didn't notice it before maybe because I was living in my home country, the Philippines, where we also don't use ordinals in saying dates in english. However, I've recently moved abroad and been interacting with native speakers so I became more self-conscious of my english. I've been corrected about not using ordinals in saying dates so I think I've become hyper aware of it 😅 I hope you don't mind answering my question. I really like the narration and writing of your podcast! Thanks!

How does the team organize all the research done for each case? Are there giant Google Docs full of notes for the writers to use, or is it more structured?

Just a general question, Casey I know you love music and punk, pop/punk especially. Just curious if you like old school punk too? Such as the Ramones, the clash etc

Hey Casefile team! Thanks for all the hard work you all put in to consistently produce such thoughtful and thorough content. I have one case question and one general comment/question. 1) For the Bamberski case: What was it like emotionally to research this case, and for Casey-what was it like reading the script for the first time? I knew about this case prior to the episode, and I’ve always felt very strong emotions about the father’s journey and quest for justice. It’s heartbreaking to not only lose a daughter, but to lose one in that manner and to have to fight for years against not only two jurisdictions, but also against your daughter’s mother (though she did eventually see the truth). I don’t condone vigilante justice in any way-I’m a lawyer in the US-but I’m impressed by the father’s willingness to work within the systems for so long considering the circumstances. Many would have given up much earlier. I just wonder if the team members share these feelings. Thanks! 2. General comment/question. I adore these behind the files and Q&A episodes. I listen to every single one and it’s great to hear the team’s perspectives. Also, your post made me realize I missed episode 312, which I’m going to listen to tonight. Question: If you could instantly become a world-renowned expert in any field or skill, what would it be?

(I think I left a comment to this effect on a previous post so if you already have the question skip this) It looks like there are some new members on the casefile team - I noticed in the credits of some of the last few episodes. Can you introduce them to us?

Hello Casefile team! Thanks for all the work you do! Regarding the Keith Hibbins case, do you guys believe that Whiteside and Dieber did not “mean” to seriously injure both men and were just caught up in a sort of white knight fantasy, or do you believe they were both so agitated that they were just looking for someone to let loose on?

For BTF: is there any update on the casefile rewind series?

i think whoever is correcting you is probably just an asshole
