Has Elsha left Casefile? I haven’t heard her on these episodes for a while and haven’t seen her name mentioned in a while. Elsha is great to listen too!

The Kalinka Bamberski case is very interesting. It makes you think how far you would go for justice.

I started listening to true crime in 2018 so Russell Hill and Carol Clay is one of the first cases I’ve seen go through the news cycle, trial and now podcasts. What’s it like for the team to monitor world events and assessing what might end up being content on the show? For example, you can test the mood in the community in real time and live it rather than reading testimonies years later

this is an unrelated question but i've been thinking about it a lot lately. You guys did an episode on Robert Farquharson and since then several other podcasts and media outlets have tried to make a case that he's not guilty and was wrongfully convicted. I have tried to listen to some of them, but it seems to me personally like it's very similar to the Scott Peterson case here in the US, where his advocates overlook the totality of the evidence while distorting small things in attempt to make a case for his innocence. (It especially seems rotten that his intended target, his ex Cindy, died by suicide and can no longer speak out about her own experience of domestic violence and coercive control.) What surprises me is how many reputable people seem to believe in Farquharson's innocence. Have you guys rethought your take on the case in the years since, or has anything new you've learned caused you to question his guilt? Would you ever consider revisiting a case if a new perspective convinced you an old version was outdated or inadequate?

Agreed! I gave one of those podcasts a go but I couldn’t keep listening. Made me feel sick.

Mr Chips

Your episode on Kalinka Bamberski was incredible and was giving old school Casefile (reminded me of Case 106 Peter Nielsen). About Case 311, I can’t believe that Greg Lynn was acquitted of Russell’s murder but not of Carol’s? Was he charged with any crime over burning his body? I can’t remember.

Mr Chips

Can I recommend a couple of cases for consideration? The unsolved murders of Pastor Carol Daniels, Katie Janness, and Bill and Peggy Stephenson The Patanela mystery, a steel-hulled schooner disappeared mysteriously in 1988 while sailing from Fremantle to Airlie Beach in Australia. Thank you in advance!! (Edited)

I grew up a few hours away from Dustin Wehde and I can attest that people in Iowa still talk about the case to this day. I've been listening to the podcast since 2017 so I was stoked to see you guys cover his story.

Hi this is unrelated but I signed up for rookie membership but still can’t access the Patreon episodes on Spotify.
