I know we tend to have a bunch of requests for some milfs or pregnant stories. This started out as a test sketch as I was playing with ideas for a new comic. But I thought I'd use it for a captioned image for you all.

Why is it in TG fiction that getting pregnant makes the transformation permanent? Like I get why getting pregnant would make you stuck temporarily as a woman, since trying to change back would undo the life growing inside of her. But pregnancies don't last forever. Eventually, she will give birth and then could just change back. Just because you can't do a reversal spell, doesn't mean she can't just be changed back to a man with a different spell, instead of a reversal spell. Or she could just get an abortion to change back sooner, since it sounds like she's not interested in having the baby. Though third trimester is mentioned, so I guess abortion is off the table. But abortion is hardly if at all ever brought up in these situations. As if this "rule" is completely arbitrary and just an excuse to have the changed character stay stuck as a woman because of their personal preferences.

That's exactly what it is. Basically, supposedly, the audience doesn't want to see them change back. So this is a short cut. A while ago I had pitched a story where the protagonist changed back at the end, and was going to start their tg journey without magic. It got shot down fast.

I wouldn't shoot down that idea. That sounds like a sweet ending. Though it does seem redundant to change your gender, change back, just to change it again. I would say it depends on how the initial change happens. For example, I feel like if Wyatt ends up as an egg, she should start her TG journey without magic (or in this case, sci-fi) or trade genders with someone who is a trans man, so it's a willing and fair trade. So she would return the gender back to the original trader, and then transition through typical means or do a trade with a trans man. So in Open Trade, it would make sense for her to change back, so that she could give back that gender to it's rightful owner and then transition without stealing someone else's gender identity or trade with some one, like in this case, a trans man, willing to permanently swap their current gender identity and be helping each other out. As for TG fiction where it ends with the protagonist turning back to their original gender, I'm fine with those endings. The ending should be decided based on what makes sense for the story and characters, not the personal whims of the author/artist. For example, I read a comic called "Curse of the Were-woman" (I think that was the title), where a womanizing guy gets cursed into turning into a woman every night. Eventually, he/she falls in love with her new neighbor and befriends her as his/her woman self. Along the way, he/she learns her lesson, the neighbor finds out that guy and woman are one in the same and he/she pours his/her heart out to the neighbor and that he/she loves her, which undoes the curse. So there, it makes since for him to change back. Sometimes, the gender change doesn't have to be about transness. The gender change here was a teaching tool to teach him how to be a better man by having him walk a mile in a women's shoes and understand what they go through, so that he could be more caring and sympathetic to women and their needs. So if Wyatt is just cisgendered, then at least he could use the experiences to grow into a better person. A better man. And you'd still have a trans character with Lexi, since it seems like she's meant to be a trans woman, I think (correct me if I'm wrong). So I'm sorry your idea got shot down so quickly. I wish they would have given it a chance. I, at least, would have. :)
