Commentary - Open Trade 254-255 (Patreon)

Some fun stuff and some challenges on these pages.

On 254, I really liked being able to try to tell as much of what is going on with victory without words. So we have the version that is just body language and not even faces to see how it works. This is a step I normally do, but will rarely share because it doesn't tend to linger. But I had to add some words to make it clear that her bra is too tight in result of the change. You can see the words on the page here don't match the final version.

With 255 the challenge was more on how to deal with the emotional aspect of Victory and Lexi's confrontation. Wanting to make sure it was clear that this cut deep and hurt Lexi, but also didn't push too hard where Victory is overreacting or just entirely coming out of left field. I redrew the faces a few times to dial in the tone a bit better. Also Victory still adjusting to the new size. She'll have at least one more page addressing it.

255 also saw a bit of a change in Victory's tats. I drew them by hand each and every time on 254, but starting with 255 I have some art files that have the tats pre-drawn so I can paste them in each time they are being used. I'm not entirely sure the process is a time save yet, but it should make them more consistant.
