Thank goodness for decent people. Youngmi needs all the help she can get

Such a wild situation, Roseleaf. Even the fantastic becomes a mundane sorting out of problems. :)

Hopefully this ask is not pushing to much.

Czarzhan

The issue here is that, even though it is non-Korean cultural knowledge she wants to trade, she could still be stuck there because the knowledge belongs to a Korean national...

roseleaf

She's due for some kindness.

Czarzhan

On the one hand, they can just keep how and who the got the knowledge from on the DL, and it might fly under the radar, but if it gets out, the lawyers could point to the other girl's dual citizenship as a loophole.

Lol sometimes this story is the epitome of doubling down. I'm wondering what the specifics are on Kate's language and cultural knowledge right now. My assumptions would be like ~70% Korean language fluency, and ~60% American cultural fluency? Am I assuming correctly? She seems to have learned Korean really fast.

roseleaf

Yeah, Kate seems to have no problems casually conversing in Korean. There are a bunch of details I wonder how I want to say then, or if I want to say them. There was a 3 page version of this scene where I answer all of these questions. I'll likely have some connents later to help solidify them. She's smart and a strong study who has had a year (including a few months in SK) to relearn, as well as every advantage. So she's easily 75_90% on the language skills. A much bigger question mark on her American culture knowledge. She didn't grow up in the U.S. and only attended 1 or 2 years of college there.

Doubling and tripling down on being Youngmi Hwang, Korean woman!
