So Youngmi is still fluent in Korean, but has all the cultural knowledge of a Korean woman still, so it still feels likes she’s going home to a foreign country. What a mindfuck for her. Now I guess we get to see how she reacts to everything else that changed since she was gone.

Rag345

So wait Steph did two trades but swapped more of her cultural knowledge?

roseleaf

Yep, she did two. Got her language skills back. And swapped her Korean Cultural Knowledge for Korean Cultural Knowledge. Basically the same mentally, but able to travel. She didn't get the time the trader when to school in the US.

roseleaf

But plus side, she can travel again! Only sidelined her for the better part of a year.

Little patches of personality and knowledge being replaced/swapped out. Makes you wonder how much of Wyatt is still in there. Or, at least, might make Stephanie wonder that...

roseleaf

She's still in there. Somewhere.

Rag345

So Steph still lacks American cultural knowledge but has full fluency of American English plus some Korean.
