Late in the night, the 4th update for May is made.

I will get on with our poll and bonus artwork next week. I hope to have some fun stuff for you all this month.

poor Gwen can't seem to sell her -er- Ken's book

Martin Lock

I'm not entirely happy with "a woman from modern day." Maybe "a modern-day woman," or "a woman from the present day"? And "fruitlessly" sounds a bit downbeat, at least "desperately" would allow for the possibility of success? Power Girl is certainly popular among cosplayers, even if they do have to keep telling people "Hey, my eyes are up here..."

Lisa Thomas

Now if enough people tell Gwen that she would make a good Power Girl and she repeats it... Will she become Power Girl. And if that happens she can fly home on her own :)

Mr. Domino

Chances are high that if she says something to make herself look like Power Girl, that'll be the thing that removes her comic and the last bit of tethering to the previous reality away, she'll just become a regular con cosplayer OR someone hired by DC Comics.

Power Girl is in the starter cosplay package. Right after Black Canary, it's a pretty easy costume to make.

Martin Lock

Yeah, search for Black Canary and cosplay comes right up: "Black Canary cosplay costume includes jacket, bodysuit, choker, gloves and fishnet stockings. A very personal and distinctive costume, made of nice material: PU leather." And all for $33.40 apparently!
