Surprised that she/they didn't offer up a picture with them for a price. Given how expensive some cosplayers are (and with Gwen being so famous she probably is very expensive) she could have made several books worth of cash right there.

Yeah most famous/attractive cosplayers will typically take cash in exchange for selfies, though they're expensive. When I was in Vegas there was a guy cosplaying Deadpool and he wanted about $75 bucks for a photo because his costume was like top tier quality.

A costume like that is probably expensive, so wanting some cash is reasonable... though $75 seems a little on the high side. I wonder how much the average Princess Leia charges, in Jabba's favourite costume of course...

Prices also will tend to depend on the persona as well. So the proof of being able to say you met that person is more valuable.
