Just a heads up, you'll see I've begun to add tiers to the Patreon! The monthly movie discussion that happens on every list has become my new "Poll" tier.

Since I've never loved how rigid a poll tends to be I figured let's make the monthly movie discussion an official perk. You guys always really help me refine the list, I love getting your opinions on what you think I'll like best and what will work best for the channel, you are my trusted confidants there.

Everyone who's a $10 patron already has access to the discussion so really no changes there.

I've added another $15 tier for shoutouts on my videos, in case you have the means to support a little extra, and I'm brainstorming additional ideas in the coming weeks.

As always the $1 tier exists as a tip jar.

Comment any other ideas you might have below!

Thanks for your support guys!

for other creators, they have done tiers where they will do live/interactive watch along, recorded for later Patreon viewing (and eventual YouTube edit). Other ideas would be a "request tier" with a random/guaranteed movie pull from those member's suggestions that month (1 suggestion per person/per month, no Poll). Maybe a private live chat hour, like the regular Live shows but a smaller group chat?

She used to have a super patron/guaranteed reaction tier, but it went away a while ago.

Have you thought about doing a Discord server?

if Shan were thinking about bringing it back i have seen another reactor make it a one time payment. you pay a certain amount and Shan would react to a movie of your choosing. another reactor will just pick a patron at random and they get to chose a movie for her to react to at no extra cost.

Oops, I think I just upped my membership to the 6 dollar tier for the two remaining hours of August before I get charged again later today for September because of the east coast vs west coast clock discrepancy. Stupid Patreon!

2 cents and two suggestions - 1) don't go too high. The more money on a tier the higher the expectation of recompense which can lead to some folk not being particularly nice 2) the best way to generate more patreons by volume (my opinion I know) is to continue pushing more interaction on the tiers you have. It creates a kind of community sense which allows for feedback beyond comments. Comments btw get more dangerous for you the bigger the community gets since some people intentionally or not start espousing spoilers. Viewership of channel activity (tip jar) followed by polls (1 step up) are good for lower tiers. Then conversation participation. I still stand by my earlier suggestion of a "blind" poll as well. Creative interaction like that might or might not work but being different is always a plus. I would stay away from a tier where a patreon makes a direct request for you as it would create a kind of list you might never be able to get to (or want to). Sorry if I write war and peace <:)
