Guys talk to me about Patrick Swayze movies?!

Road House, Point Break and other favorites! I've seen The Outsiders in high school and I've obviously seen Dirty Dancing!

Road House is a BLAST. Its arguably the best B movie ever made. Swayze is such a bad ass as Dalton and Sam Elliott is so cool in it. It's anything but boring. Its over the top in all the best ways.

You have Youngblood on a thunbdrive. It's a Rob Lowe movie but Swayze is like 2nd lead.

Rollo Tomassi

For starters, you gotta add Ghost to said convo.

To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar

Justin Gonyea

The original Red Dawn is definitely worth a watch. I believe it was the first movie to be rated PG-13.

Roger Freeman

Point break is a good movie. Road house is fun to watch but the dialogue sophomoric. Swayze tries to hard to seem tough

Black Dog is always forgotten, but it has Swayze, Randy Travis, and Meatloaf! It's such a fun movie that always fell under the radar. Fatherhood is also favorite.

I think Swayze was great, and I wish he made more movies that were as good as he was. I'd throw in support votes for To Wong Foo and Road House. Red Dawn is kinda clunky and Ghost doesn't work for me on any level (and I love a good romance usually). Totally neutral on Point Break, but I'd definitely watch you react to it.

Richard Kelly's debut feature Donnie Darko (2001) is a daring, original vision, packed with jarring ideas and intelligence and featuring a remarkable performance from Jake Gyllenhaal as the troubled title character. Swayze plays Jim Cunningham, Donnie's motivational speaker neighbor. Also, Drew Barrymore, Seth Rogan, and others. Rated 87 Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

I've been meaning to get to this for a while, in my real life... but having the channel always makes me want to hold off and post it!

Shawn Goforth

I love Ghost, Point Break and Road House. He's great in all three for very different reasons. I saw Road House last year at a midnight screening with some friends, and everyone knew to hit the bar ahead of time. It was a blast!

Jeff Barnes

I'd have to give Road House a thumbs up.

Mike Fox

Not a big fan per se but Ghost and Point Break are pretty good.

My Ex Boyfriend

Yeah, ghost and point break get my votes

Chris Bruneau

Shanelle, check out Ghost. Probably Swayze best film, IMO

I'm with you on Red Dawn. I mean... I liked it when I was 10-12. But now it's just ridiculous.

Bill W

Although he was talented and beloved, he wasn't really in very good films.

Best Swayze film, imo, is next of kin. Amazing. Lots of good actors.
