Structurally similar to Robocop...that scene made me crack a smile, as you were explaining that it was similar to Kurtwood Smith meeting with the executive in Robocop. Ronny Cox, who played the executive, Dick Jones, in that film is playing Cohaagen in this one. Structurally...very much the same.

Total Recall, another excellent Paul verhoeven film with yet more fantastic practical and visual effects especially for 1990 and more gruesome kills 👍. Ronnie Cox who played the main bad guy Richard Jones in Robocop, was also the main bad guy Cohagan in this. Shanelle you asked your patreons if you should consider watching Starship Troopers, well I would say yeah because it's another great Paul Verhoeven film. See you soon for your next live stream 🙂.

To hopefully answer your question on exploding blood packs and ripped clothes- this is achieved by blowing open a pre-cut hole in the actors clothing and bursting a fake blood pack with a small explosion 💥 called a "squib". Hope that answers your question, shan.

I saw this in the theater, but there's really no story. Me & Crazy Phil & Weird Lee went together, the eye-bulging made me very uncomfortable, and then we went to Phil's and stayed up all night playing Nintendo.
