In case you missed my post I watched the EXTENDED CUT from the 2005 DVD release without realizing it. So this is going to be a weird sync I'd imagine. The order was That Yellow Bastard (with extra footage featuring Carla Gugino), The Customer is Always Right, The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill -- after each "short" I let the credits run fully, (it was quite annoying!)

If there's interest I will separate each short for an easier time. Bonus points if you let me know how your watching experience goes

The effects of the colors in this were amazing having the main color as black and white with flashes of color here and there and certain things in the movie as all color. The prosthetic make-up to Micky Rourke's face was fantastic but all make-up effects prosthetics/special were good too. My favorite story was Micky's story "the hard goodbye" which also had Elijah Wood in it and his character was a creepy and cocky little s**t (in my opinion). I like watching things this way where u get the end credits rolling up before the next story, and yeah Brittany Murphy died too soon at the age of 32.

Shanelle u like to call out filmmaker elements because it make u feel smart and feel like a genius.....no no no no no you ARE smart and u ARE a genius because of what u do 👍🙂. Your smarter than a lot of people.....including me 🙄 and that's the truth.

OMG, this was hysterical seeing your face every time the credits rolled. I know you've figured it out, but no...we saw one set of credits at the end, during the theatrical release.

Watching the sin city stories in any order wouldn't bother me.

I honestly think you would truly enjoy this movie, if you gave the original cut a chance, on your own someday. As much as you liked this, seeing it uninterrupted makes a difference.

Shawn Goforth

I mean, if it Was originally cut together that way, everyone's mind officially blown, so I don't blame you for powering through. What a weird experience. that would be. Watch it again! The Josh Hartnett bookends will make you smile.

Sorry if this is a long comment but i have to get this off my chest shanelle and that is that I'm sorry I made the comment saying "watching the sin city stories in any order wouldn't bother me" angered you but I couldn't tell I if it did or not so I might have/might not have misread your reply (which is all down to me and my misunderstanding mind) and when I misread something I go into a slight panic which sets off my paranoia, my anxiety and puts me in slight depressive mood (which I get help for every time when these moods show up) for a while making me think to myself "have I said or done something wrong or hurt or angered someone's feelings". People reading this might be saying to themselves "why is he doing this, he should keep this to himself" well patreon and YouTube are the only forms of communication I have with you to apologize to yourself shanelle because I'm not on any social media outlet. So to sort my head out I'm taking a time-out for a while with no comments, viewings or replies to the February list of movies that get shown and this also includes taking a time-out from patreon and YouTube and sending out replys to fellow patreons and yourself shanelle. I might return for Feb's live-stream depending on how I'm feeling, if not I will hopefully return in March at some point. Sorry for making this comment and sorry once again if my comment saying "watching the sin city stories in any order wouldn't bother me" angered you. In case I decide not appear for Feb's live-stream, enjoy the rest of your February shanelle and everyone else too.

Hey Chris! no, it didn't bother me, I think i even misread what you said. I might've read it as "it would bother me" which I agreed with. I wasn't happy viewing these all segmented, it kinda took away the cohesiveness for me and I felt bummed by it! you didn't do anything wrong, take any break you need :)

I never watch Sin City all chopped up like this into it individual stories. Thankfully I had the DVD set with both versions, so I was able to pop in the segmented story. I agree that this is not the way to go. The original release is the way to go. I see the DVD has some great behind the scene stuff I am gonna check it out. But yeah fell I love with this movie due to style. With this movie it is all about style. It is a shame that Sin City 2 couldn’t live up to its it original billing.

There are many more Sin City movies.

I recommend Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, but there are a lot more Sin City movies. They are hard to find.

I'm watching the Recut, Extended, Unrated version, and it does not look like yours. Maybe it's not meant to be. :(

Yay! I found the movie you are watching.
