Up to Speed with Alan: July 2024 Updated (Patreon)

Hey! As a creator I often feel like I'm not interacting with you all enough sometimes, but know that you're definitely all on my mind. There are many projects going on in the background so it's best if I let you know what's currently up.

First off, I've been doing some contract work with some groups (it was part of the reason for my trip to the bay area in April). I worked with the IBEW Local 6 on some trolley bus related topics including interviewing the head of the local for a future video. If everything goes well that video should be out by the end of July. Otherwise I was also there to film a railroad startup company, and I filmed some internal videos for them (I'll see if I can share them here soon).

Second, I've been working still with railroad workers united on the nationalization video, so I'm thankful for all of you who support me for that. Its a big project and its taking awhile.

Third, other new AU videos will be coming soon, with the most completed and soon to launch video being about Wendover and some of the issues in one of his Half as Interesting videos on the Alameda Trench in LA.

And Finally, I've been working with private Railcar owners to film a mini-doc about the small industry that exists in North America for private railcars and the dynamics of owning and operating them.

Thanks again for being patient, its hard to see people leave and I definitely know its because I haven't been posting here as much, but there are exciting things in store.
