There were definitely some issues with the first version, and to be very honest I'm sort of frustrated with this video in general. The message isn't quite as fully hammered in as I would have wanted, but I'm at the point where I just want to be done with this.

So I did take your feedback and I fixed imo the worst section of the video which was the CEQA and California rant. So hopefully with that part fixed the video is now more cohesive. Either way I'm sorta annoyed that this was the video that ended up ballooning in time. I don't plan on repeating that for the next video...

Flexispot Links: Let's talk about a different topic today, and from a different perspective than I think most people would take. Solarpunk is a type of aesthetic that floats around leftists spaces, but it’s always bothered me for multiple reasons. And the people that use it as a hopeful future might have been led astray. Wanted to note here's a typo on your quick comment on 9:03 ("munipulated"). After watching through both versions, this feels like an improvement over the first one. Looks good.

I watched both versions of the video, I think the argument in this version feels clearer! As much as I love California, some of this stuff is so frustrating to deal with. Some of the topics you brought up in this video remind me of the conversations people are having around Ezra Kleins "Abundance" book. It might be interesting to hear your thoughts on that someday!

I’m at 7:22 and I like it a lot so far. If people are angry about it, many of them may be the sort of people who think that environmentalism is when you run over Bambi with a Rivian instead of an Escalade
