some readers asked to see one of my outfits but I didn't feel comfortable sharing it then. i've been experimenting with older styles lately and I really like this simple fit. i love long flowy skirts and billowing sleeves. it's so feminine without showing too much and really flattering no matter your shape. it's breathable and comfy too~ i've never worn linen, chiffon, or corsets before, but I highly recommend it if you can afford it and don't mind keeping these pieces for a long time.i've been struggling to feel ok lately, so I'm taking more time to dress up when I have a chance to get out. I feel less confident if I dress sloppy, so I do my hair and makeup even if it's just to run a few errands. I don't want it to get me down, so I'm starting to read things outside of my research for SWFTD to help calm my mind. I'm currently reading a memoir about a troubled man that managed to find success, while many of his childhood friends ended up in prison or dead. he struggles to relate to other successful people who grew up with normal, stable families and talks about how he wish he could trade his success for a healthy childhood and a loving family. it's helped me to revisit memories from the past and be kinder and more understanding of myself. On top of reading, I plan to add cardio to my routine because I feel so tired all of the time, despite eating very cleanly and sleeping a lot. I'm might be vitamin D deficient, so I have to get more sun and be diligent about getting the right nutrients.

the decor and design book are for the comic, but I think it'll be useful in general to learn vintage design concepts. I want to explore more resources from the past because i feel like older educational materials will give the comic a bit of an edge. something's sexier and comforting about vintage photos and media from the past. surely I'm not alone in feeling this way. this AMV captures the vibe perfectly.

I wish to share more, but I really need to finish the NSFW for this month >.<;; thanks for reading <3

That dress looks so cute on you 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼😍

ajoji_comic

thank you 🥺 took me a long time to work up the courage to ever show my body, but I'm starting to feel ok with it. Still trying harder to get healthier though~

I love your aesthetic, it's so cute! Are you also anemic? I'm so glad you're taking time for yourself! Thank you for sharing yourself with us.

ajoji_comic

thank you =) I'm not sure if I'm anemic, but thanks for mentioning that. I did wonder if maybe I was low in iron or something. I'll have to get some bIood work done and see what's going on.

How is it, that I see so much of my own struggle in your personal posts? I too have found flowy skirts and dresses to be tremendously comfortable, and I enjoy how they make me feel about myself. Your outfit is absolutely lovely. I've started being more diligent about my nails. Keeping them clean, neat and now I'm exploring nail art again. Short nails only, but decorated anyway. 😅 I'm experimenting with new painting styles too, and new (to me) colors of paint. All for the protection of my mental health and well being. I wish you all the best in your health and growth.

Sorry if you can't see the full comment, it's buggy for some reason =(

ajoji_comic

thank you ^^ it's so fun twirling in long skirts and dresses. and same! I wanted to get into nail art too but I decided to just focus on making mine healthier. I love the nail gel art from Korea, it's so fem and cute but I don't think I can with the upkeep and I'm afraid of mine getting brittle =( I love seeing other ladies wear it though, it's so pretty. I think it's really cool you have the patience and skill for it. I used to think it was silly, but now I have a lot of respect for women that take the time to do all this self-care. I never realized how important it is to take pride in the little things.

Your beauty is in and out. Your drawings are a part of you and your characters conversations just show not only your inner beauty but your wisdom. Celebrate your body through every phase, you are young, beautiful and with a bright future. See it as that caterpillar is blooming into a beautiful butterfly. Xoxoxo

Nice keyboard. Sick. Also cool dress and you look great in it! Also also, I love the art styles in the video can't wait to see how they influence your work!

ajoji_comic

thank you ^^ it's a keychron. the sound of the keys are soft yet thocky. I'm trying to find a balance between the grit of older anime and the feminine and modern ish style I'm known for, but I know it'll be cool and fun either way because you can't go wrong with the drip of the 80s and 90s.

That outfit is adorable! That book sounds interesting. It's great, but also hard to stay positive, but I commend you for doing things that help you feel better. Definitely check to see if you are vitamin D deficient, or if something else is going on. Take your time on the updates.

It’s hard sometimes to take care of yourself. As a mom, I always put everyone else first. I’m neurodivergent too, so it’s easy to get burnt out quickly. I’m very lucky to have a husband who makes me stop to take care of myself. I still feel very guilty about it though 🙃🙃🙃. I also love vintage home design. My dream is to have a colorful mid-century home. Design and small kids don’t always mix though 🥲. So I’ll wait patiently for now lol.

ajoji_comic

Aww, thank you 🥰 you could totally pull it off. Cinching the waist and A line skirts are always flattering.

ajoji_comic

Thank you ^^ maybe I'll show more of my fits in the future, I've really grown to love fashion and I'm enjoying incorporating it into my drawings~

ajoji_comic

Kudos, I can't imagine being a mom AND being neurodivergent. I'm super overwhelmed just being a bit ADHD brained. And yes! Mid century is so pretty, but difficult to own if you have a bustling home. Maybe when the kiddos are a little older lol

That AMV is perfect!!! So many beloved animes in there. Plus Mareux is an amazing artist. I love his Gopnik track and Lovers From The Past.

Your fashion sense in this image at least is very cottage core and I love it! I never leave the house sloppy. No way. I'm always dressed nicely, hair done even if it's just grocery shopping. You look amazing. My friend has that design book on his bookshelf!

ajoji_comic

I actually didn't know who the producer of the remix was, but that's funny because I've been getting into more russian synth lately.

ajoji_comic

thank you ^^ that's cool! and I agree with you. I used to not care as much, but I feel like it's really helped my self-confidence going out. People are nicer and it's just fun to feel like a character in a fairy tale sometimes haha.

ajoji_comic

Sure np ^^ They're from a shop called French Meadows~ the shirt is actually a long chemise that's see through, so you'll have to wear something underneath. Both the chemise and green skirt run a bit big, while other skirts were true to size for me. Their sizing is generous overall so I don't think you can go wrong regardless.

The outfit is so cute! Long and flowy is so comfy 🥰. Glad you’re finding your style and are comfortable sharing with us. THANK YOU! Definitely take the time you need. The work will be there when you’re ready to return but your health is the #1 priority.

ajoji_comic

Thank you ^^ I'm going to go outside and touch some grass lol I know I'll feel better soon.
