There was quite a drop off in readers last month and I think it's because of the last few pages talking about parenthood.

No, Ellie and Grave are NOT talking about having kids together. Becoming parents someday is something they've put thought into long before getting into a relationship, but there are implications in their dialogue because naturally they like each other a lot, and the idea of reaching that point in the future together seems lovely, but life can be unpredictable and nothing is set in stone.

It's going to be a long time before they seriously consider having a family together because of how big the story is. The Luciel arc is one of many. There's a massive cast of characters that we have yet to meet. In fact, there's a new man coming after this conversation is done and we'll see Ellie's best friend soon after. Then we'll meet Grave's friends, followed by men from the syndicate, and it goes on.I guess talking about parenthood seems like an end game thing because of how many romance webtoons are structured, but it's such a fundamental aspect of a future relationship that realistically it makes sense to me that it would come up earlier on.Anyway, I'm working on a new page and I plan to have it out by this weekend. it's going to be very cute~ Happy Friday everyone!

I’m not leaving until it’s over lol.

Black Raven

Thank you for stating this. I was thinking about to leave if they got babys together. I'm here for the hot stuff and pregnancy, birth and children is the last hottest I can imagine.

AbbyAppleee

Honestly I’ve been a fan since I discovered this WEBTOON and while the plot has gone a little slower these past few chapters I think it’s perfect especially with all the ✨energy✨ that happened a few chapters ago. You just keep doing you! You are the only one who knows what’s gonna happen next. We just get to be impatiently patient 😁

Kelly Bissinger

I think it's wonderful its being discussed. My biggest pet peeve and unfortunately it seems to be a popular trope, is couples that seemingly never talk about the big relationship talks. Finances, kids or no kids, where they want to live city or country. I have loved their open conversations with one another. It is refreshing and I love it. I'm in it for the long haul. You are an incredible artist and love your storytelling.

Ashlie Mcnulty

It's a very normal part of a relationship. I'm very child-frer and happy about it. I didn't expect to enjoy this story so much but it has become my favorite.

Lauren Smith and Emma Castle Books

I loved that they were talking about this! I just realized i missed a few pages because the last week was weirdly busy so i got caught up.

ajoji_comic

totally understandable ^^ it's too soon for that, but I thought it would be sweet for them to express that they potentially see themselves staying together that far in the future.

Lrpnkster

It makes sense to discuss this. Every relationship has this conversation at some point. It's natural.

Juanita Wilson

No thank you. You’re doing us a service and I want you to know you have fans that really appreciate you and your work.

ajoji_comic

i've been preparing for the major shift in the story--all the new characters, new arcs, and new environments, getting the script beta'd and making major revisions, while trying to stay sane and manage my health. it's been a massive undertaking because of the scope of the story, but I really appreciate everyone that has stuck around and given it a chance to make this transition. I hope you all like all the hot new characters I'm bringing in lol

AbbyAppleee

Hey now I’m always down for some hot new characters. Don’t threaten me with a good time 🤣

ajoji_comic

That's kind of why I think people may have assumed it was end game or something because it's usually never brought up. A lot of times it's "will they, won't they" for most of the story and then they get married and the end. The characters having sex this early on is already unusual. I wanted to create a webtoon that is more "adult", not just in the spicy NSFW sense, but covering many different adult topics across the board. I think misunderstandings will inevitably happen when you try to do something different. I appreciate you giving it a chance 😁

I'm here for the long haul! I had to pause ALL my patrons last month cuz Christmas kicked my butt and I needed a few paychecks to catch up. But I'm back and man did I ever miss this comic. It's REAL and thats why I love it. People have forgotten and become disconnected because we've got so many ways of staving off pregnancy that that is the NATURAL result of sex and relationships. MOST people, male and female want kids and family. That's natural and nothing wrong with that. It's how we keep the species going after all. All mammals, all creatures procreate. It's a beautiful thing! :) I can't wait to see what's in store for the future of this couple and comic!!!!!

Lindsey Briscoe

Me too! I love the spicy but the constant comments of people wanting a baby so quick was starting to rub me the wrong way. I was going to comment on some of the comments, but I figured it would just anger the masses. I did remember a poll way back about new content where the mass response was for breeding kink.

Black Raven

Yes. I felt the same. I thought I was outvoted, since so many wished for that.

ajoji_comic

same, i think it's a wonderful thing, but it might not be for me. that has no bearing on what Ellie and Grave's outcome will be, but i want to address things that realistically would come up for a young couple. I'm happy you're still enjoying the story ^^

Sarah Hans

It didn't feel endgame to me. I thought it was sweet how similar they are in outlook. Some people may also have left because they assume the smutty bits are over and that's all they were here for.

ajoji_comic

stay tuned I have a new page coming this weekend. hopefully I can get it done by tomorrow ^^

ajoji_comic

that's what i thought too, but I think it's just so unusual to see it discussed in a webtoon that it may have thrown people off.

Ashlie Mcnulty

I think that makes it more relatable and, personally speaking, makes me want to read it. I discussed having children with my partner. (Thankfully it's a no for both of us). It's important.

Rochelle Schiffman

I think January always hits people hard. Post holidays things are always financially tight. It’ll get better!

Lilly336

I actually liked it. I mean it’s a natural part of having intimacy with a partner so it’s bound to come up. If anything it made it seem more of a realistic relationship then a lot of WEBTOON romances that tend to drag it out I feel so they can get more views. That’s just how I feel. This feels real and raw and that’s why I love it 🥰

Perla G

Mmm I think that kind of deep and needed conversations are one of my reason I love your story (besides the smut of coursee 🔥) I know it could cool the spicy but we need those in real relationships! We need to be able to talk and be open to our partner to build together... alsooo they are having sex without protection (I'm not complaining hahaha) so it's good they speak their thoughts out about it... I'm grateful for all your hard work!! I'll stay tuned to know more the new arcs!!! ♡

ajoji_comic

I didn't expect it to be divisive, but I guess it's just unusual to cover some of these topics in a comic. Makes me curious how people will react to all the other stuff I have up my sleeve lol Thank you for your enthusiastic support 😁

ajoji_comic

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking but boy they have no idea the shit I'm stirring up 😂 no joke, I got a buffet of men on the way.

Tanyinika787

Big fan of your stories. Your imagination always has me hooked.

ajoji_comic

True, I didn't consider that. Thank you for the support though! ^^

ajoji_comic

I appreciate that 🥰when it comes to romance, it's tough to strike the right balance of realism and relatability, while making it feel magical and dreamy.

ajoji_comic

honestly they always do it raw because I don't like drawing rubbers 😂i wanna show Grave's "soldier" in all his glory lol

ajoji_comic

I'm going to sleep everyone. thank you for the discussion, I'll be back with a new page soon!

Sarah Hans

Yay! I never doubted 😉

C.G

Where the feeling of Endgame come from, the story Just got started 🤨 I liked the convo scene, you rarely see couples in these actively and clearly communicate with one another, and on an intimate level no less, with no cut scene to irruption or misunderstanding so it was refreshing. The 'suprise pregnancy' is really played out and worrisome when that is very much something to be discussed between one another so there are no 'surprises' down the road.

TinyNomz

THIS! SO MUCH THIS!

TinyNomz

I love the fact that they're mature enough (and secure enough) to have a conversation about kids without it devolving into embarrassment and misunderstanding. That's rare, and SO appreciated! Their relationship is still just beginning, so it's natural to have thoughts about aspects of the future without the immediate desire to see it take place. I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone else in this story!

Venessa

I know I am just as invested in the story. Romance comics are great AND I think they're even better when relatable stuff like this comes up. It happens in a lot of relationships, just in different ways. This is their way and that's completely valid. Keep up the great work 🤘🏼

Perla G

THANK YOUU for that 🤤🤤🤤🤤 hahaha

Rule o' 3

Your writing and art is beautiful. Your story is intriguing! Unfortunately so many people don't want actual story with their smut it seems. I want both. Why not both meme. Lol I think you'll gain a whole contingent of different followers the further and deeper we get into this story. Ellie knows how to shoot now and has her own Glock. (is it a Glock?) I can't wait to see the ass kicker she's going to become!!!!

Rule o' 3

I'm in my 40s and child free also. I never wanted kids. I love my one nephew though!! He's the best! He's four and a half and even though he wears me out, he's SO fun! It's good you and partner on the same page! That helps. Ive had incredible relationships end because I held firm in my "no kids" and my partner at the time tried to change my mind. Is shitty

DestinyC.

I'm in love with the story and everything, really, and truly. I can't wait to see Grave's friends and Ellie's of course. I just was a little confused for a moment and was going to wait for the next one to find out what's going on more. Thank you so much! 💕💕💕 Keep up the hard work, Ajoji.

Emma Lynn

Honestly i love how you set the story up! Obviously we love the smut but i also love how deep the story is getting and will get! So excited for the next chapter❤️😊

Vilinda

I appreciate a romance comic that is just straightforward, has great communication, a bomb-ass hawt couple, and doesn't end at the dating scene, when they finally bone, when they get married or when a baby/child enters the scene.

Ms. CherryBlossom

Yup, you said it all. I couldn’t agree more 🥰

Ms. CherryBlossom

Have I tell you how much I appreciate and admire your work 🥰, I love 💕 it so much. Thank you 🙏🏻. It’s so refreshing to have someone like you that thinks like that, my heart ♥️ is ful content 😍 @ajoji

Emily Snyder

Honestly, if you find yourself falling for someone and you DON’T have the kids/no kids convo, you’re making a mistake. That disagreement is a deal breaker, even for couples who have been deeply in love for years. I hear that’s not what this is, but the fact that they’re talking about it hypothetically means that, once again, this is smart writing.
