Underground tunnels - Backgrounds (Patreon)

Hello!

Here's a few backgrounds from the last animated sequence I showed. As always, it's easy to forget how much effort goes into that side of production, but hope that my 4-6 hours painting them has some effect even with people being the main focus while on screen; the environmental artist's conundrum. But then I remember the backgrounds in Akira and how they had to do them with oil and acrylic paints, and animators taking days painting all the little windows for something that would be on the screen for sometimes less than 2 seconds, and I guess it puts it all into perspective...
