Is it me or is Cassie not exactly shipping the Vincent-Linda romance in this movie? I'm not sure I've ever seen her push back into her cushion during a kissy-kissy scene quite like when those two are playing tonsil tennis.

Arnold said many times that this was one of the most important movies of his career, because nobody would've dared before that to send him scripts that were anything else than action movies. Also it remains the most profitable movie of his and Danny DeVito's career. Because nobody knew if audiences even wanted to see Arnie in a comedy, studios were hesitating to finance it. So the two stars took a paycut in exchange for a percentage of the profit and since this is one of those alltimers that are still shown on TV, on streaming and get all kinds of physical media releases, they earned more with Twins than with any other movie.

Other than a small handful of films, I’m not particularly a fan of Christmas movies. So this month is a bit of a slog for me, reaction wise. Well, that just changed. Kat (with whom Cassie recently did an absolutely marvelous collab reaction on “Weapons”) announced on her livestream this morning that she’s doing another collab with Cassie next week. I won’t say what movie, since I imagine Cassie wants to let her patrons know on her own time table. But it should be EPIC and it’s not only a good movie but also one which I never imagined Cassie would react to, much less around Christmas time. Cassie, Queen of Happy Surprises! PS: We need more Cassie/Kat collabs. One a month should suffice. Please!

One of the henchmen 'Sam Klane' is Danish actor/stuntman/bodybuilder Sven-Ole Thorsen. He's been in 16 films with his close friend Arnold. In 1983 he won Denmark's Strongest Man contest. His biggest role was the retired champion gladiator Tigris of Gaul in Gladiator (2000).

Fun fact I just heard. In Pulp Fiction, Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta, their characters' names were Jules and Vincent, Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary who wrote Pulp Fiction named them after these characters because Danny De Vito was one of the main producers on Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.

Sorry to post something sad on such an upbeat post but im heartbroken over the news of Rob Reiner's death yesterday. Such an amazing actor, director and person. In the comments of "Twins" I recommended several other Danny Devito films one of which was "Throw Momma From the Train". With the untimely death of Rob Reiner it might be a perfect time to do it as he directed it.
