The one where i question my sexuality 😉 I thought this was really well done and I had a few tiny little bones to pick but overall really loved the story and the romance and the crew!

Wes

Fun movie! Ooh.. spicy comment from Cassie 🤣

Cole Jennett

Dang it. I have to moderate in 30 minutes, lol. Looking forward to watching this one with ya

Joseph C Wallace

I really do hope nobody accepts the "wars happen because of inherent human evil" thesis this movie promotes on any level

Johnny

This movie is a lot of fun - looking forward to watching it again. Gal Gadot is just so beautiful..

JohnnyUtah

Great timing for a Saturday night!

Cole Jennett

It’s a movie. I think we are fine

Shehab Dawoud

Gal Gadot in a leading role🤢 that’s a no for me, dawg

Joseph C Wallace

You say that, but then people earnestly recite things from movies as gospel on a regular basis. People really seem to want to have it both ways all the time.

DavidJPL

I love this movie's peak in the middle; a dramatic reveal thru "No Man's Land" and in the small town. There are plenty of great comedy moments, and the main theme music / riff is absolutely killer (also used for her in other DC films). I'm less thrilled with the 'Old Guy' ending, it was too mismatched and forced for me to enjoy as much as I did those earlier scenes.

Rick Rodriguez

This was my favorite of the so called DCEU, until ZS's Justice League. Found it adventurous and moving.

HugoBoss435

Been waiting for this one. One of my favorite DC movies ever. Sadly won’t be able to watch until sometime tomorrow.

Dan M

🙄

David Kent

This is an awesome movie with a great soundtrack.

Joseph C Wallace

You're telling me you haven't seen people insist that movies like these shouldn't be dismissed as mere entertainment?

Dan M

lol…can’t blame you Cassie! Gal Gadot is the sexiest female super hero I’ve seen. I love Diana’s backstory, I love the myth of The Amazons, and I love the World War I setting.

Garrett Wilson

I did a double take when I read that comment, but we understand. Gal Godot is an amazing person, especially when you read her backstory.

Richard B

Became familiar with Wonder Woman with the 70's TV series. I think my DAD had a crush on Lynda Carter.🤣

James M

Gal Gadot is perfect in this role. The story is great although it seems to meander a little towards the end. The first scene of her breaking the German line is absolutely brilliant. I have actually stopped the movie, gone back and watched that sequence again. It's fantastic.

Cole Jennett

I like it a lot too. Has a very similar feel to Captain America: The First Avenger, and Haley Atwell (Agent Carter) is no slouch in it either.

Stick Figure Studios

Agreed, Joel. It is also clearly very heavily influenced by the 1978 Superman movie.

Stick Figure Studios

I have loved that main theme that junkie XL wrote ever since I first heard it in BVS.

TinCan Cosmanaut

Happy to hear Justice League is next. Very Epic. Wonder Woman is great in it.

Shad Kanyak

This was the only Snyderverse movie I genuinely liked.

Phil Stubblefield

I agree with some other commenters that this is my favorite DC film of all time (including the earlier pre-DCEU fare). I'm not big into the darkness of much of the Batman world, so Gal Gadot's ingenuous, almost naive, Diana Prince was a breath of fresh air to me! 😊

Dan M

And I think the Amazon fight scene may have been influenced by the movie 300.

Dean Holt

Always thought it was a good solid movie, probably around my 6th favourite DCEU film behind Man of Steel, BvS, Shazam, The Flash & Birds of Prey which I think is a very underrated movie & I’d highly recommend it as I think you’d both really enjoy it if you’ve obviously not already watched it.

Joseph C Wallace

Ares' monologue near the end of the film consisted of him saying that he didn't seduce or hypnotize anyone, he just drew out the existing malevolent tendencies in all involved. It's a very moralistic interpretation of the causes of war, very degraded Kantianism.

Baldemort

I cant wait for Snyder cut of Justice league. its going to be epic!

Johnny Bullis

OMG.. did you really say this made you question your sexuality? LMAO... too funny Cassie.. too funny.. Ive been waiting for you to watch this.. I love the call backs in this movie to the original superman movie.. now you only have The Snyder Cut of JL to watch.. the only one to watch.. trust me.. please stay away from the Josstice League..

Stick Figure Studios

Interesting. Can you elaborate on that? It's been a while since I've read Kant.

Amper Sand

Hmm... To me is beautiful Marilyn Monroe and good acting vs beautiful Gal Gadot and poor acting (even worse than beautiful Sandra Bullock's acting)

Joseph C Wallace

Kant broadly approaches the question of "evil" in civic life as Reason being misapplied towards immediate personal ends rather than towards moral law, which is foundational for liberal ethics. The film's interpretation lacks all of Kant's sophistication in implicating civic institutions as part of our lived experiences of moral law and cynically shears it down to inner moral failure. Nevermind anything more like Hegel, Weber, Marx, etc, this doesn't even respect the starting point of liberal ethics.

John Stephens

Yes, yes!!!!! Love this movie. Right up there with Man of Steel and Nolan’s Batman !!!!

Bill Maurer

Gal is perfect as Wonder Woman. Simply perfect and absolutely gorgeous

Stick Figure Studios

You know, I studied philosophy at a liberal arts college where I read Kant, Hegel and Marx, But it really was so long ago (Golly, it's been 30 years... Where does the time go?) and I remember so little from it that I'm not really in a position to dispute your assertion.

Joseph C Wallace

To be quite fair, "degraded Kantianism" is only one approach in describing this perspective; it's so broad and so intimately close to our current ideological moment that you could probably think of it in dozens of other terms. Point finale, I hope nobody takes it at face value.

JL_83

saw this theatrically and had a great time

Steve Mercier

So, Gal Gadot's acting has been crapped on a lot lately, and I don't think all of it's without merit; but, I think she gives a very earnest, sparky performance here (less so in the sequel, but that's far from that movie's only fault). And Chris Pine is always spectacular. My problem here is twofold: the crew that accompanies Wonder Woman--Steve Trevor aside--doesn't really develop into anything, doesn't really overcome any major obstacle, and doesn't really have an arc. They're all given the hints of interesting backstories, but ultimately are kind of just there. And lastly, while I love David Thewlis as an actor: a) I think it's kind of obvious he's the bad guy right from the get go; and b) much like the fight between Superman and Zod at the end of Man of Steel, the fight between Ares and Wonder Woman doesn't really have any stakes (that is, the actual conflict of the story lies elsewhere), and kind of feels tacked on. These quibbles aside, I still rather enjoy this one, and would put it pretty high in the rankings for the DCEU Snyderverse--maybe my favorite until James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. Flaws don't always destroy the good that's left behind in something.

Black_TYGR

Linda Carter has never been replaceable as Wonder Woman for me. But, man…Gal Gadot was a close second. She was great in this role for sure!

Anthony Carlson

“You’re a man.” -Diana “Yeah…I mean…do I not look like one?” -Steve Trevor

Steve Smith

Sorry folks, but this movie was way overrated.

Chris Thom

Alright. Steer them ships for a short detour to Lesbos Isle. Whoops, I mean Themyscira. Lessss do thisss! Haven't seen this one in a while. HBO Max up and ready to go. DUH DUH DUH DUH Dah Dah DUH DUH...............................Hoping you'll stay tuned for the end credits because they're RAD.

Chris Thom

Sandra Bullock is talented though...

Chris Thom

The end credits are so so good.

Charles Briggs

Gal Gadot will always be Wonder Woman to me now on to the Snyder Cut Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) 👍

DSM The Editor

"I feel like I just saw [Antiope, Diana's aunt/trainer] in another movie" You did! That's Robin Wright, Jenny from "Forrest Gump", which you just rewatched, as well as Princess Buttercup from "The Princess Bride"

Rick Williams

Great Reaction Ladies. Good movie. I would like to see more of Wonder Woman. I was just getting ready to watch your 2001 reaction when this popped up and I couldn't resist the chance to watch both sisters tonight. P.S. They didn't have ejection seats in 1918.

Chris Thom

Neither of you recognized Jennnaayy!

Chris Thom

Did you find 2001 on a streamer?

K, Zachary

Yeah Gal Gadot, we thought she was good in alot of her movies. Even the most recent one. She's 5'10? My gosh. We loved in her this one. We loved you guys in the theater great reaction from the both of you. One more thing Kat from Kat watches horror had a live event this morning. Your name was dropped Cassie that's all I am willing to say. We did watch her full reaction to Gremlins., pretty good.

LukeG84

Great reaction. I loved Cassie's many looks of amazement throughout this movie. I can't wait for her and Carly to watch Zack Snyder's Justice League. You just know it's going to blow both of their minds. Here's hoping we don't have to wait too long. 🤞🏻

Chris Thom

Robin Wright reminds me a bit of Sharon Stone.

Darren Harrison

Well, it’s not a spoiler because it was all the buzz when the sequel was released. But Chris Pine has a substantial role in the sequel.

Clay F

Gal Gadot is great in this leading role. She is widely praised for bringing a powerful and believable physicality to the role of Wonder Woman. The role a perfect fit for her charisma and presence.

aarswft

Everyone was just so happy to have a Wonder Woman they ignored how awful it was.

aarswft

Genuinely the funniest thing I’ve read all day lol

Mark Vaderr

The gushing over this movie by critics was ridiculous, but it is a good movie.

Mark Vaderr

Cassie, do yourself a favor and avoid the sequel. It's awful.

Mark Vaderr

That does not sound good.

Cole Jennett

Totally agree Clay. She was great in the role. Nothing funny at all with what you said.

Cole Jennett

Just because it was all the buzz doesn’t mean that wouldn’t be a spoiler for Cassie. Still, I don’t think anyone will be pushing her to watch it

Cole Jennett

I’m fairly certain this will end up being the high point for them.

Cole Jennett

I’m fairly sure she will be done with this universe after Justice League

Tyler Hale

Reading that description, oh my!!

Clay F

The gushing was also by the vast majority of the audience (viewers). It's only a bitter, rabid highly-vocal tiny minority of viewers who trash the movie.

Story Archer

Gal Gadot was a literal beauty queen, an actual combat instructor AND she's the mother of FOUR beautiful girls... is there anyone on the planet better suited to be Wonder Woman?

Story Archer

Tragically... truer words were never spoken.

Story Archer

Gal Gadot was a literal beauty queen, an actual combat instructor AND she's the mother of FOUR beautiful girls... you're going to have a hell of a time finding someone better suited to play Wonder Woman. Not to mention she emotes better than any actress I've ever seen, you can always read the nuances of her emotions all over her face.

Story Archer

Chris Pine also did an exceptional job embodying Steve Trevor.

Clay F

Story Archer, well said. Agree completely. Both Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.

Old As Dirt Bert

Very nice, ladies. Thanks for not giving anything away, Carly.

Darren Harrison

True. It was a monumental disappointment. It felt the plot existed purely as a vehicle to allow Pine to return. I recall it was released during COVID so got a simulcast on HBO MAX. I think I was one of the few to see it theatrically.

Clay F

Women should know their place, right? Crawl back into your manosphere. We're are not interested in your misogyny.

Mojo One Thousand

This movie doesn't have a post credits scene. The sequel does.

Mojo One Thousand

Alternatively, "Princess Buttercup". There was look of recognition for "Lord Jeor Mormont" and it seemed Cassie thought against saying anything as it wouldn't mean anything to Carly... or she couldn't remember from where, but I think it was the former.

James M

It's hard to know what to say. I had great hopes. The first comic series I ever read consistently was Justice League. I kept wanting to like this franchise and movies like this made me think DC was at a turning point. Instead the movies just got worse and worse with little glimmers but obviously no one was coordinating the "universe" and the film makers were ready to throw together anything for a superhero $ grab.

Mojo One Thousand

I enjoy this movie, but the third act does suffer from the common problem in comic book movies, even though there is some good acting, particularly from Gal Gadot (you say the 't') and Chris Pine, and well-put together sequences earlier in the movie. Although the "Ludendorff" bits can be a bit tonally inconsistent. I do agree with the Honest Trailer folks that is gets a bit video-gamey towards the end. They also had some clever remarks about it being a superhero origin story, inside an origin story for Greek Mythoolgy, inside an origin story for World War II. However, they received so many comments from people not understanding the bit, and feeling the need to show they didn't get it by pointing out "Wonder Woman" is set during World War I and not World War II. I like that it was debated whether David Thewlis was "Professor Lupin", they got there in the end, to me he will always be "Maude Lewbowski's" giggly offsider. I guess the accents threw off Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen for the ladies. "Forrest Gump" wasn't that long ago, but to be fair, it has been a while since "Gladitator II". "Charlie" is played by Ewen Bremner (not Simon Pegg) who has been on the channel in "Black Hawk Down". "Sammy" is the elder in "John Wick 3", he is probably on the channel elsewhere, as he does pop in movies. Danny Huston chews some scenery as "Ludendorff" and was "William Striker" in "X-men Origins: Wolverine". "Etta" is played by Lucy Davis" who was "Dawn" in the UK "Office", the character "Pam" is based on in the US version. I did like that James Cosmo was recognised by Cassie, but she didn't really say anything, just a knowing look. I was assuming that she knew he played "Lord Commander Jeor Mormont" in "Game of Thrones", but didn't say anything as Carly wouldn't know the reference.

James M

A certain group of people will always feel angry in response to this movie. It would be nice if they made an effort to get along with others instead of trying to bring people down.

Ace Degenerate

That doesn’t mean what you think it means Steve.

Alex Gorell

I always find it comical when people use woke as an insult. As it’s anything but an insult.

James M

They really struggled with the crew. Sameer goes absolutely nowhere and I guess is only there for comic relief. Charlie has his endless panic but never has an overt breakthrough although he is later seen shooting once or twice. The Chief claims not to fight and then he does fight when inspired by WW but again it's so underplayed you barely notice. Is a cop out to say they didn't have time to make these stories more effective. I think they didn't have tight screenwriting or a director who understood these stories matter. In the last fight scene the sidekicks turn into an anonymous pack of guys instead of a team and that's very disappointing. The film nearly collapses into chaos at the end but they had the inspiration to make her parting with Steve confused and then reprise it with a full on "man is imperfect but he's sacrificing himself for love" moment. Just that simple device saved the last 20 minutes of the movie. That's my main complaint. The rest of the movie is pretty powerful. Gadot may be a simple character actor, and she's not up to the level of Pine, but being a one-trick performer hasn't hurt the career of Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, Harrison Ford, Jeff Goldbloom... there are a whole lot of actors who have no greater range than Gadot and through charisma and good role selection have had good careers.

Mike Lemon

@Clay- He said nothing of the kind. You are jumping to conclusions again.

AdrianF

OMG your face Cassie at 1:17:36 on the YT time :D

AdrianF

"is there anyone on the planet better suited to be Wonder Woman?" Probably

Kawaii Leonard

David Thewlis will always be Einen from Dragonheart for me. As for this movie, if I have nothing nice to say about it, don't say anything. So I'll shut up. Although I'll say this is one of the better movies in the comic book genre.

AdrianF

This one has a 'special' place for me as it got me back into physical media after years of iTunes. I didn't see it in 2017, but got the 4K when it came out in Covid times maybe? Any road, GD is fabulous, the movie is great, the reaction perfect, the sequel a massive disappointment.

james sweeney

This movie is pretty good. Don't bother with the sequel.

Philip Alan

I'm with you, Cassie. Love this movie, but that's an old British guy! That took me out a bit! But I still love it. Great reaction! (work on that in theater audio - you kept cutting out)

Hubbs30

cassie nothing wrong with having options eh. always happy to see you enjoy movies

Brian's Dog

I loved this movie, but I still like to imagine what could have been with ripped crossfit ladies and a little less slowmo CGI action.

Above Average Dave

Bit of a different reaction on my part in that, while watching this, I never, ever, questioned my sexuality. In fact, my wife said afterwards, "I think you enjoyed that a little bit too much." 🤣 A fun movie that Gal Gadot was made for. I also endorse the Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE. After that, you can walk away from the DC universe unscathed and satisfied.

Clay F

Good point Alex. Woke is good. Good point MIke but it fairly good conclusion. Most common. If inaccurate, Steve could reply to clarify.

Christian Becker

Can't remember that one very well. So maybe I liked it back then (?) – holy cow, look at the release date – already eight years, but obviously not enough to buy or rewatch it since then. But, as I have nothing else to do with my life for the next two hours, and with the help of our charming host, I'm sure it will turn out quite enjoyable. Addendum: Darn it! FFS I'm subscribed to three streaming platforms here in Germany and none of them has WW on it. Could buy it on Amazon video though...? Decisions, decisions.

Clay F

Please then take a break from DECU after you react to Justice League (if you do react to Justice League).

Clay F

There is no one on the planet better suited to be Wonder Woman.

Christian Becker

Okay, with the 4-hour Snyder Cut Justice League, I will definitely need Cassie’s help to watch it and stay awake. I bought it and tried to watch it several times, and I fell asleep every time.

Clay F

I am thinking that will be me too -- did not really like BvS. Yet, the Snyder Justice League gets decent reviews. Could require the 4-hour Snyder Cut Justice League to do well in a poll (before reaction), as Wonder Woman (2017) did in a couple of polls, e.g., WW finished an incredibly strong 2nd in recent poll. But apparently she wants to react to Justice League. Patrons wanting the Snyder Justice League (2021) are vocal, which could be misleading -- unsure how many patrons want it. What does the silent majority (or plurality) of voting patrons want?

Mike Lemon

"If inaccurate, Steve could reply to clarify." Why would he? Look how he was attacked in the first place. Everybody that has been on the internet knows how it will play out. Maybe next time, try something like- 'What do you consider woke is (remember rule 3) and why do you think this movie fits that?' -then have a civil discussion. If he is a nut, he will, figuratively, hang himself, but if he is not, something much worse might happen, you might see his point of view. "but it fairly good conclusion." It is a terrible conclusion based on bigotry. It is patently obvious from your other comments you have no idea what "the other side" actually thinks, all you have is a caricature based on, presumably, what others have told you. Just look at the last week or two, you have called two people racist and one sexist/misogynist with absolutely zero evidence, and you pretend like you're the "good guy". You're actually acting worse than what you think OP is on this thread, he just gave an opinion on a movie (I haven't seen it so can't say if it is accurate or not). But you? Look what you accused him of in your comment. I think I have offered it to you specifically before, but I'll extend the offer again, if you (or anyone really) can be civil and would like to learn, feel free to message me on reddit ( u/MikeLemon ).

Christian Becker

I don't think the film is inherently bad, but for me it swung too far to the other side. Whereas Whedon's version had way too much comic relief and too many jokes, Snyder's version was too dark and dreary for my taste. My assessment of the Snyder Cut may be biased, as I saw Whedon's version first and deemed it okay-ish, but four hours is quite a lot, and DC isn't Middle-earth, where time has no meaning ;-)

Clay F

Enjoyable movie. Thanks for the reaction. Gal Gadot is stunningly beautiful - her face and physique - and with a charismatic performance. I can definitely understand you questioning your sexuality. Chris Pine did well. A believable chemistry between the two. Good story. Heartfelt. Thrilling. Inspiring. Funny at the right times. Clever. Well-acted. A strong female protagonist. Great action scenes. As Roger Ebert said, Wonder Woman (2017) isn't just a good superhero film -- it is a sincerely good film in which no qualifiers are needed.

Chris Thom

DC is aligned with WB. So HBO Max should have it.

Cole Jennett

They will watch Justice League. The only question is will it be in two parts or not? I fully expect it will be the last movie watched in this universe

Chris Thom

Oh that's what she's from! Yeah I missed that too. Knew she looked familiar, but couldn't place it.

Chris Thom

I would do an intermission for Justice League if I were them...get lunch and come back to it.

Walter

Snyder’s DC vision is not my cup of tea. His Justice League is not bad - has plenty of good stuff in it - minus a terrible final sequence. He was definitely building to something - it was something I didn’t like - but he had a vision, to be sure.

Walter

This movie is great fun with great chemistry between the leads. Wonder Woman is an awesome character and they do her justice. I’m not nearly as impressed with the sequel, however.

YodatheHobbit

Did you recognize that Diana's aunt who trained her was Jenny from Forrest Gump? She's from the same area I'm from. There's some behind the scenes stuff of all the Amazons getting into SUPREME shape for this movie. They all supported each other in doing it as a group. I really enjoyed their action scenes with the horses and their general kickassity.

YodatheHobbit

There is nothing accurate about this comment.

Ren Maddox

I'd like a version of Snyder's JL but without the future visions and dreams, since they don't go anywhere. I'd also remove the MMH bit for the same reason, along, I suppose, with the bit with DS's future plans. And then add back in Whedon's post credits scene.

Alexis Vorian

Ikr?? Cassie was so into her!! And I can't blame her!

Above Average Dave

I got to the end reaction and heard Cassie say a muted "holy sh*t." This comports with my theory that she and her bookclub group manifest invectives. 🤣

ROBERT CLARK

Does this mean you are skipping Suicide Squad? It takes place between Batman V Superman and this film.

Clay F

Well, looks like we getting Justice League, whether we want it or not. I suspect I will not find it that entertaining but I could be wrong and might like it. I will watch the reaction. Not sure how distant in the Justice League reaction will be. Just glad that DCEU will apparently be over after that. I did like Wonder Woman (2017).

Matt Mabry

Funny, Gal Gadot is Israeli. She did her time as a soldier in the Israeli army. Great review. Did you recognize The Commander of the Night's watch. Sir Mormont?? He was the general they met in the room.

Cole Jennett

It’s not really on her radar at all

Goofaman

Seriously, why the hell don’t you add captions?!?!

MannyDC

Hopefully its the extended version 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Doc Larry/old geezer

The origin of the Wonder Woman comic and character is actually quite salacious. There’s a film about it, and it’s worth watching if you’re prepared for the subject matter. It tells the fascinating story of how the character came to be. The movie that explores the origin of the comic is Professor Marston and the Wonder Women. That said, they did a great job with the Wonder Woman you watched. There was also a television series in the 1970s starring Lynda Carter, who was truly iconic in her day. Nice reaction, as always, and great commentary. Thank you, Cassie and Carly.

Richard Maurer

She can skip that one. But she should watch The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker.

Richard Maurer

The Snyder cut ironically needed an editor. Too long and overindulgent.

Richard Maurer

This movie is not as good as its fans will have you believe. But it’s also not nearly as bad as its detractors claim. Basically it’s a decent superhero movie. Certainly not as bad as the worst of genre, and the worst of DCEU for that matter, but not among the best either

Richard Maurer

Gal Gadot was good in this movie. I literally can’t say that about any other movie I’ve seen her in, including Wonder Woman 1984.

Richard Maurer

Yes, I mentioned this in the past. That is that the original comics were full of bondage and spanking. And I suggested a simple google image search to anyone who doesn’t believe it.

Ian Tonge

There's a lot to like about this movie. The highlight for me was Lucy Davis as Etta Candy - I love her enthusiastic energy, and her comic timing/delivery is an absolute joy. You may remember her from Shaun of the Dead. It's a shame we didn't get more of her. I'll also say that the sequel is actually pretty good. It's never going to be anyone's favourite movie ever, but it's a perfectly serviceable action adventure. I'm not sure why it gets so much hate.

Vak

I don't think she's done Shazam yet? That one's charming - I think she'd enjoy it. (The sequel is definitely weak enough to skip, though.)

Vak

Humbly disagree with that take. I'd call this one average-plus. It shows flashes of being fantastic at times, and most of the casting is great, but it's also brought down by a check-the-boxes, "we don't need actual characters here" feel to Steve's team, as well as a sketchy-CGI-typical-slugfest ending. With that said, "average-plus" is certainly not a place with bad company - I'd put the first Doctor Strange, the first Ant-Man, and the first Shazam in the same general ranking. They're all totally enjoyable popcorn flicks worthy of an occasional rewatch. They're not the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 2, or Cap/Winter Soldier, but then damned few superhero movies are.

Vak

I was actually surprised she didn't recognize her as Buttercup from The Princess Bride.

Chris Thom

I thought there was a movie about it! Vaguely remember seeing it on HBO but then I thought I may've hallucinated it. Before seeing that, I did always think the lasso especially was a bit suspect. But so is every other comic thing ever made, I suppose.

Chris Thom

Doesn't YouTube automatically do captions?

Chris Thom

There were some fun sequences. But yeah it definitely took a turn toward the corny. I think bringing back certain characters was maybe a mistake. Thought Kristin Wiig gave a pretty good performance.

Goofaman

Well, I’m on here right now. And it shows no captions available. You have to ask YouTube to put the captions on it. Apparently that’s a bit much of an ask.

Chris Thom

Would imagine the edited version will have it. The full reactions have a very bare bones amount of editing.

Chris Thom

She actually might enjoy it. Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Aussie Dude WhatshisFace. Curious to see how she'd react to the new Joker.

Goofaman

Right, understood. But I figured you know since I’m actually paying for the thing that they would put captions on it. I don’t know maybe they’ve got something against people who have hearing issues. All I know is it sucks.

Chris Thom

If you can find Kaielle on here she usually knows what's up with all this stuff. And she edits for her own channel too, so she has experience.

Richard Maurer

I would say it’s top ten - if you include DC movies only. Add in Marvel movies, or even just MCU movies, and it falls out of the top ten by far.

Clarence Newman

I am personally waiting for the big screen version of Morbus Gravis.

Dean Holt

Not sure if I was in the mood to watch this or not but watching it this time around a thought it was a bit boring at times. I know Cassie planing on watching JL. But I really think she would enjoy Birds of Prey, it kinda reminds me a bit like DC’s version of Deadpool

Goofaman

I appreciate your attempts at assistance. But I have to ask if this really our job, isn’t the job of the person who’s making money off me for the content that should have captions? I don’t know why they continually ignore this.

Javier Hernandez

I loved this comic book adaptation and put it up there with the Dark Knight, No Way Home, and Iron Man 1. The arch of Dianna as she comes to understand the world of mankind is really great. And the No Man's Land scene is inspirational. But it does rely on some worn tropes of mythology, from the Greeks, to the Romans, to Judeo Christian... man is flawed but ultimately good. The triumph of this movie is matched only by the the cheesy failure of the sequel.

Joe J

For full-length watch-a-longs, you have to enable captions on the source copy of the movie you are syncing up.

Joe J

Snyder Justice League is welcome by me and many others...also good for YT views...for sure.

Clay F

Yeah, may get a decent number of YT views. We will see.

Goofaman

I want captions for her talking. Not the movie.

Richard Maurer

Chris - while I wouldn’t hate if she watched the first Suicide Squad, I’d rather she watch Gunn’s version as it’s a much better (and funnier) movie.

Stick Figure Studios

I actually like the sequel too, even though I know a lot of people don't.

Stick Figure Studios

Personally, I thought Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE just flew by, I also would actually would like it if they continued on to AQUAMAN, SHAZAAM, THE SUICIDE SQUAD, WONDER WOMAN 1984 and THE FLASH.

Stick Figure Studios

Also, Thewlis is currently playing Sherlock Holmes on a TV show called SHERLOCK & DAUGHTER.

Clay F

I don't know many people who truly liked WW84. I may check it out.

Gray

First watch for me and i'd say I'm not the biggest superhero movie fan but this one was fairly decent i thought, I think moments of comedy helped it along with the ww1 setting. Wishful thinking with the Pine survival considering there weren't too many parachutes for pilots back then and well he shot at the rack of bombs too.

Jayson Phillips

It's not her armor that's bulletproof its her, she is basically DC's THOR, she is a Goddess

RabidMango

Could've done without the entire movie revolving around her having a s**ual relationship with a stranger's body. Seems like an unforced error.

Ani

I really hope you and Carly are going to watch the Snyder cut!

I really enjoyed the movie. Gal Gadot makes a fantastic Wonder Woman. My only real complaint with the movie was the trope that it took her love for a man to motivate her to win. Ejecting or bailing out of the plane wasn't an option. In World War I, parachutes weren't widely available. There was no bailing out.

RabidMango - Without that part the movie is mediocre. With that part it goes into the awful category.
