Hey guys, here is the YT edit for GoT S4:5-6 which will premiere shortly!

Daniel John

Dinklage cooked in that scene.

Clay F

"I feel unsafe." Hang in there. In chat in YT premier this evening, a mod said the next series (not yet named) may not occur until 2027. I was glad to hear there may be a next series (TV show).

Stan the Man

Agreed. I’m hoping for something like The Sopranos. Maybe Avatar The Last Airbender or The Wire. It would be great if she could arrange something with Carly so we could get some post episode discussion going between them.

Gray

Lost would be a good watch

Clarence Newman

The problem with Lost is the problem with Lost. And you know the problem with Lost.

Clarence Newman

Really starting to like Sansa at this point. Since Ned died and with the exception of Tyrion, that poor girl has literally been bullied, coerced and abused by everyone who was supposed to be protecting her. That scene where she's trying to tell Lysa that Bailish hasn't touched her is so well acted by Sophie Turner. Her desperation to be believed when no one ever cares what she thinks or wants is heartbreaking.

Clay F

Stan, we think alike. The Sopranos and The Wire are my top 2. But I am flexible in accepting most series (e.g., IMDb 8.0+) to be able to watch her react to a long series. I think The Sopranos would be best for the channel. Again, however, I emphasize that I will accept whatever series she chooses.

Joe J

I hope Picard is next, I know Cassie really wants to watch it. Just 30 episodes, so not a big investment in time. YT engagement would probably be low, so that would be a problem. Outside of GoT, not many shows (if any) will get decent YT views. Maybe 45-50k per posting is acceptable for Cassie, I'm just speculating of course.

Gray

I think it's fair to say the ending to Lost is misunderstood and it's not what everyone is adament they were the whole time (trying to stay spoiler freeish) If she does Star Trek & Picard then Red Dwarf is up next right, British sitcoms do quite well on YT.

Arya (Maisie Williams) is a ray of light in GOT. Miss Williams has a wicked sense of humor. On a talk show when asked about the list she replied "Joffery, Cersei, Tom Hanks (also a guest on the show), the Mountain, ....etc. Tom's reaction was surprise and entertaining! LOL.

Clay F

Sopranos would bring in way more paid Patreon members than Picard. Would duplicate the +28% realized w/GoT. That’s more significant revenue than whether a weekly reaction gets 50k or 100k YT views. I’ve seen it on an established channel recently (2024-2025) = massive influx of paid Patreon members (Sopranos fans) due to Sopranos reaction. (A nice benefit for me was those Sopranos fans as patrons influenced the next poll to give Mad Men as the current reaction.) What’s interesting is the fans were not only the long-time hardcore followers of Sopranos but also younger viewers who jumped on The Sopranos bandwagon in the Sopranos resurgence during the pandemic. I heard it from my young adult kids -- how The Sopranos became popular among their friends. I was like what? "During the COVID-19 pandemic, 'The Sopranos' experienced a major resurgence in popularity, especially among young adults and first-time viewers. In May 2020, WarnerMedia reported that viewership on its streaming service, HBO Now, had surged by 179% since beginning of the pandemic... The rise of social media and podcast culture created a fan community. Younger, internet-savvy audiences drove online conversations, creating memes and repurposing quotes from the show to translate it into a modern, internet-friendly language. This phenomenon was amplified by the 2020 launch of the popular rewatch podcast Talking Sopranos [my son mentioned], hosted by cast members Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa. … Long-form, high-quality content filled a need during lockdown. With so many people stuck at home, there was a high demand for substantial, high-quality content that could be binged over weeks. For many, the critically acclaimed ... The Sopranos was the perfect choice.... The show's fashion and style became trendy."

Clay F

The Sopranos changed TV. Best TV Shows all time rankings: --Rolling Stone = The Sopranos #1 --TV Guide = The Sopranos #1 --Hollywood Reporter = The Sopranos #2 Writers Guild of America voted Sopranos as Best Written TV Series (#1).

Clay F

The Wire (2002-2008) [IMDb 9.3, RT 95%] is a good alternative. A different focus each of the 5 seasons. Idris Elba, Michael Kenneth Williams (awesome acting) (R.I.P.), a young Michael B. Jordan. Best TV Shows all time ranking = Rolling Stone #4, Hollywood Reporter #5. A favorite of President Obama. CBS interview: Interviewer: "Settle an office debate. Best 'Wire' character of all time?" Pres Obama: "It's got to be ****, right? I mean, that guy is unbelievable, right?" Pres Obama: "And that was one of the best shows of all time." In a True Detective reaction, she alluded to The Wire as being recognized as a great series, but that an aside. Unless I missed it, she has never really discussed long series she would like to react to, except for GoT.

Christian Becker

This is as good a place as any therefore: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Greetings from Bavaria! And always remember: Valar morghulis!

Clay F

Michael B. Jordan = The Wire Michael B. Jordan was 14-15 when filmed in 1st season of “The Wire” in 2002. His first role in a major production. His character’s age was 16. Jordan said he fell in love with acting while working on THE WIRE. He said: “It was the first time I ever really, like, got lost in a character.” Remember the Titans Wood Harris (a significant actor in THE WIRE) also played Julius (who became really close w/Bertier) in Remember the Titans.

CJ Holden

Let's be honest, it's a miracle that Tyrion stayed with his family for that long after all, but abusive relationships are complicated. I can imagine every time he tried to walk out the door and never talk to any of his relatives again, someone pulled the "But you are a Lannister!" card.

Clarence Newman

I believe it's a heinous error to give Game of Thrones the bum's rush until the New Year. Too many days to wait for us hopeless GoT junkies and some of us may expire. You said on a recent live that you wanted to be a good boss, but you also need to be a good cult leader. It's unnecessary, too, because I think GoT is a very Christmasy show. While your kids are singing carols, you can be singing A Song Of Fire And Ice. While you're carving the Christmas turkey, you can watch your favourite characters carve up a variety of turkeys. The wall is literally made of snow, most of the characters are crackers and Bran is searching for the ideal tree. Basically, how can you not?

Joe J

How dare her take time off and enjoy the holidays...😆

Cole Jennett

I still find it a little funny that you were against her even doing Game of Thrones

Clarence Newman

I can't argue with you, Cole. I actually thought the show might tear her soul from her chest and stomp it into the carpet before our very eyes. We did come close with the Red Wedding, though, but she survived that because she's been doing a lot more Boot camp this year. Million Dollar Baby, Only The Brave, Sicario, Passion of the Christ, Cape Fear, The Last Of Us, The Fly, pretty much the whole of October..... I stand by my HUGE concern that GoT would be too much for 2024 Cassie. But 2025 Cassie is a badass, Sarah Connor upgrade that can take on 90% of what we throw at her. If only she'd stop being sick all the time.

Gray

Good news for us as she's watching the next 2 eps before sunday

Clay F

Gray -- are you talking about what she said in the Extra Butter Live? Agree. She said something like GoT would be her next watch and by Sunday? Happy Holidays.

Gray

Yeah it was me who asked, mainly to find out what was coming in the new year. I wasn't expecting some GoT episodes.

Clay F

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that either. I've lost track of the days, and hoping she is taking at least a little time off. Glad to hear that her NEXT watch is GoT.

Rick James McAlister

Where’s thrones 😩🥺🥺 we need to go back to Westeros

Joe J

I'm guessing you missed the memo, lol. She's taking off the week after Christmas.
