Hi Curly, Kill anyone today?

Hey friends in high places, how has your first official week in 2026 been? I did that thing i do every year where I buy a new planner and think I'm going to become a different person. I did organize under my bathroom sink so DREAM BIG 2026.

I've been thinking about PiB in 2026 and what it will bring. I wrote down a few little "watchlist goals" but I don't want to be beholden to them (new years resolutions give me anxiety haha) and probably can't do all of them but just thinking about some stuff I could hope for?

thoughts? what's on your watch list this year? Anything youve wanted to watch but havent ever gotten around to?

Ok this week we sho e nuff have The Last Dragon ;), FANTASTIC FOURRRRRR and the finale episodes of GOT-SOS! On YT we will have finally 2001, City Slickers and GOT 7&8.

We had the December pick-a flick drawing LIVE this week and if you missed it our winner was TANNER with the pick "The Assassination of JEsse James by the Coward Robert Ford" (2007) Woohoo, Brad Pitt, say less ;) From now on the Pick a Flick submission will be on the website (no, still never planning on getting rid of patreon) but I think things for Pick a Flick are way smoother over there! Just one two clicks to link your patreon-FAQ's should all be updated with how to do it! Remember you have everyday in January to enter your pick!

ALSO I posted a Buddy Cop Poll this week and even though I am skeptical I could love anyone as much as Riggs and Murtaugh, I'm excited to try! There was so many great comments on this genre and poll I decided to do a Buddy Cop Week! It will be Midnight Run (was going to be my PPOTM) and the two winners from the poll! Don't worry-no skipping GOT though-Arya and The Hound count as buddy cops right?

Ok all love,

Cassie

Hmmmm Not a bad week , but you are going to watch a early martial arts movie Cassie, I recommend "Bloodsport". Jean Claude Van Damnes best movie AND the movie that mades him a action star!

Nizate

You need to watch a movie named RUDY and the movie Requiem for a dream. And if you want a good comedy that you’ll love Joe dirt

micah

omg please watch andor for the channel!!! that would be awesome!!!

Brian Shannow

Praying for some David Lynch this year (Mulholland Drive specifically)

Coleton B.

"Scariest movie I've ever seen" is.. Interesting? :D

Andrew Heller

Monster movie marathon has to have godzilla and kong movies, atleast the new ones

Joshua Campbell

Looking forward to Fantastic Four First Steps & The Last Dragon 😀.

Brogan

Perfect list for the year, wouldn't change a thing!

Tim Weaver

❤️ the idea of a buddy cop week. Midnight Run is the kinda fun "little' movies that aren't made much anymore.

Macabre Movie Maniac

Three movies you've been actively avoiding- The Exorcist The Texas Chainsaw Massacre(2003) American Pie

MGCR

Looking forward to all the Bonds you've missed.

Franco V.

Four Chaplin movies is a better idea: The Kid. City Lights. The Great Dictator. Modern Times.

Gray

Looking forward to that Buddy Cop week, also Free Solo might be the scariest movie you could watch if you have an aversion to heights haha.

IregretNOTjumping

Finish GOT please Cassie 🙏🏻 Like… please 😁

KyloJames

There’s not a better year than 2026 to finally watch Children of Men!!! (Made back in 2006, set in the year 2026)

Gray

think that's a given

Mytheos Holt

"New scariest movie I've ever seen." We're getting Hereditary this year folks.

Edgar Gonzalez

Cassie you absolutely need to watch all of Pierce Brosnan 007 movies!

The One Man Reaction Faction

I have a feeling The Exorcist requests are about to go through the roof!😂😂 Don't do it, Cassie!

WestBound

Add YOUR NAME to that goals list ..oh wait it's there with a fall in love with a romance rom/Com

Alex Gorell

For a Great War movie I recommend Flags of our Fathers/Letters from Iwo Jima. They are two movies filmed back to back telling both sides of the battle of Iwo Jima. Shares several scenes and actors.

Nate St. Pierre

For a great war movie, I'd add The Great Escape to the potential list EDIT: Thanks everyone for letting me know it's already been done! I'll search it up :)

James UK

I hope you do get to finish all the Bond movies this year. There are one or two shockers in there but a lot of the remaining ones are good fun. For a new romcom, I think you’d enjoy One Fine Day.

Coleton B.

She said 'scariest movie she's ever seen' not 'movie that forced me to seek therapy and shut down the channel'

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

Thank you for wanting to watch the remaining James Bond films, Cassie! There are some real gems that you and Carly have yet to see! (I think Moonraker (1979) would be an absolutely hilarious reaction!)

Stephen Last

Instead of a new trek series, Would you consider watching more episodes from the original or Next Gen?

Erik Locquiao

You will absolutely love Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker together, their chemistry is perfect. Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan’s chemistry in Shanghai Noon/Knight was also just about perfect…honestly Jackie Chan with anybody.

David Freese

Exorcist is a permanent no for channel.

Daniel Turbyfill

I was just thinking about you watching more Star Trek this morning! Specifically hoping that you watch the Short Treks episode “Children of Mars” before starting Star Trek: Picard. I hope you watch ST: Deep Space Nine if only just for yourself.

Tyler Lathrop

Yes Arya and the hound are buddy cops! Great way of thinking

Marcus Merrell

The best romance film you've never seen: The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, with a very young Catherine Deneuve...

Timothy Fisher

Will you still watch the first two Fantastic Four movies from 2005 and 2007 to familiarise yourself before the newest one?

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

If you want a great War movie, I REALLY recommend Empire of the Sun (1987), it is the underrated gem of Steven Spielberg's career and it ranks among his very best!

pickupthepieces

I've got ya covered on the foreign movie part. Black Book (2006) from The Netherlands. It's also a war movie (ww2 resistance), so that's two birds with one stone.

WestBound

Honestly it's a must watch once in your life . If not only to see what the hype is about . But no cheating can't look away can't cover eyes can't pull out earbuds

Larry Darrell

Absolutely… Go Back and watch ALL JAMES BOND FILMS!!!! James Bond has a character arc that goes from Dr. No (1962) thru Licence to Kill (1989). One Complete Story

Clay F

Yeah -- Arya and The Hound count as buddy cops -- I like that logic.

Jake McNulty

Also a foreign film, so that would be two birds one stone.

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

"Watch a movie I've been actively avoiding" and "the new scariest movie I've ever seen!"....Well, there's The Exorcist (1973), Cassie... but I'm guessing that's still out of the question! No worries!

John Drake

100% Dirty Harry, certainly the 1st 2, maybe the 3rd if you're liking them. Not sure about the remaining Bonds, you've see the good ones. On the other hand, there are a few decent TNG episodes that you missed .. "Come cheer up me up me lads..."

Steve Mercier

2026 PiB Watch goals: Andor Season 1&2...YES!!!

Stick Figure Studios

Here are your goals that I am excited about. -The rest of the James Bonds (I really think you are going to enjoy most of these and even a few of them I think you will like more than some of the ones you've already seen; I hope you get Carly to join you again... Who knows? You girls may finish them just in time for the announcement of the new Bond). -A Charlie Chaplin film (might I recommend CITY LIGHTS; It was one of the pics I submitted when I won trivia night) -Dirty Harry (and if you like it, which I think you will, watch the sequels) -A great foreign film (hopefully more than one) - A great war movie (might I recommend Steven Spielberg's EMPIRE OF THE SUN or Terrance Malick's THE THIN RED LINE). As a cinephile, I am really looking forward to this upcoming year. Keep up the good work. :-)

Clay F

I doubt she watches those two before reacting to the 2025 Fanastic Four.

Catherine LW

“Downfall”. Great war film and foreign film. Depicts the fall of Nazi Germany from an insider POV ( Hitler’s secretary) True story. Bruno Ganz is brilliant as Adolph Hitler.

Catherine LW

Great romance: A Room With a View.

Stick Figure Studios

Hear, hear! She may finish him just in time for the announcement of the new Bond.

Above Average Dave

HOLY SMOKES, Cassie—this is spectacular! (not to mention, organizing under the bathroom sink! 😁). In all it seems like a huge success to even write these goals!

Jake McNulty

Good resolution list there Cassie, I'm confident that you'll achieve at least 80% of them before the end of the year. Good luck, fingers crossed.

Daniel

GOT! ❤️

Christian Becker

Well, a heartfelt little nudge towards considering Andor from my side. And a suggestion for the war movie: Paths of Glory (1957) — not fun, a heavy watch, but great - imho. I don't know what to make of: "New" Star Trek series? To use a world-famous Star Trek quote: I have a very bad feeling about this! ;-) Except if it’s DS9 — then it’s great. :-)

Walter

That’s a wacky week of entertainment :). PIB certainly isn’t boring!

Rick Rodriguez

Maybe do some more John Woo movies. For War films you can fo A Bridge Too Far or The Thin Red Line. Both great. Thin Red Line is more arty and spiritual, fair warning.

Stick Figure Studios

I support these picks. I might add THE GOLD RUSH (the original version) as well.

Brent Petty

Finish a series: Watch the Sicario sequel - Sicario: Day of the Soldado.

Stick Figure Studios

Me too. I am confident she's going to like some of these more than a few of the ones she's already watched.

Clay F

ditto

Stick Figure Studios

It's a great film. One of my favorites and I submitted it as one of my pics when I won trivia night.

Larry Darrell

She’s reacted to it. Give it a search.

Wes

Andor might break you. I think Sinister would mess you up in a scary way but if you want scary but not too scary I recommend Megan, Ready or Not and The Menu

Clay F

Good point Kylo.

Godzilla Jones

Last Dragon is a trip. You still need to watch LEGEND, starring a very young Tom Cruise and, for my money, Buckaroo Banzai.

Nim

🤣

Collar City Guy

Dirty Harry? Yes please! 🙏 2001, City Slickers and GoT .. it's going to be a great week!!

Walter

I’m gonna stay true to form here and mention Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Thank you - carry on.

Thomas Meredith

War movie: The Guns of Navarone Romcom: Frankie & Johnny (Al Pacino like you've never seen him) Dirty Harry: Be sure to watch the first one

ROBERT CLARK

Happy New year Cassie, I will be checking everything Adams Family related this year and I'll be starting The Equalizer series for the first time. Will the remaining James Bond films be getting reactions from you and Carly???!!! Also I'll be eagerly awaiting Daredevil: Born Again season 2 in March, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and hopefully hearing more updates on Mandalorian & Grogu and The new Jack Ryan film with John Krasinski. I've started reading the Tom Clancy novels this year!!!

Tyler Foster

Thrilled to hear that Midnight Run is on the way. Also, as for the rom-com goal...Moonstruck, perhaps? ;) If it helps, I watched Return to Me for the first time with your reaction, and the "big eccentric family" vibe of that movie is very much in keeping with Moonstruck...

Walter

You can go ahead and keep avoiding those…

Shawn Kildal

City Lights (1931) for the Charlie Chaplin film is a must. It's a rom com. I'm excited about Dirty Harry. The second movie in the franchise, Magnum Force, is my favorite!

Walter

Peter Jackson’s King Kong and Kong Skull Island, please!

Edgar Gonzalez

Hey, got to take the good and the bad.... Makes you appreciate the good ones even more right. 😄👍

Katie Jackson

Great List Cassie! For Rom Coms/Romance there are definitely a few that you haven't seen. An Affair To Remember (1957) was in Sleepless In Seattle and was a large part of the plot for that movie. It's a great Romance, not much Comedy but the word Tender will definitely come up😄Plus you can't truly appreciate Sleepless In Seattle until you've seen An Affair To Remember. Hope Floats is a really good Sandra Bullock movie that you've somehow missed, it's definitely worth a watch. Some Kind Of Wonderful will remind you of Can't Buy Me Love. It's a really good 80's Rom Com that I think you'll fall in love with. Those are the 3 off the top of my head but I know I can definitely add to this list. I hope you start up some more Star Trek. What You decide to do will probably influence which series you watch next. You really need to watch all of Deep Space Nine to follow the story. Voyager you can do the same thing you did for The Next Generation. I would chose one of those if you're going to do more, unless you wanted to go back to TNG.

Cole Jennett

There’s absolutely no need.

Catherine LW

A series that’s easy to finish is Lonesome Dove. Best western ever written and filmed. Will capture your heart and stay with you.

David Bockly

Dirty Harry and Magnum Force are a must and then maybe the Enforcer if you're really enjoying the series.

Patrick O Mahony

Great pick for a war film & also a foreign film. I would also recommend "Come and See". Probably the greatest anti war movie, ever made.

Chris Retzlaff

ANDOR!!!! and PICARD.....LFG!!! Deams do come true

Above Average Dave

THE ROAD is one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen, but it’s not technically a horror film. Just a predictive tale that, as someone who has been to some scary places in the world, hits far too close to what reality could be if one or two things went wrong. Also, I’m not sure how it would do on YouTube, but SHŌGUN was a spectacular series (1 season), sumptuously shot, great plot with 3-D characters and the kind of historical world-building you love, Cassie.

Shawn Kildal

Never seen any other Star Trek series besides a little bit of Strange New Worlds and Discovery. Could we sprinkle in a small handful of TOS episodes also. The lone TOS YouTube video is closing in on 230k views which is a really good showing by comparison

Ed Ward

If you want a room com to fall in love with all the while settling a Charlie Chaplin vibe you need to watch Benny and Join starring a young Johnny Depp, Mary Stuart Masterson....

Andrew R

I prefer this as well. But doubt we would be so lucky. I wish she would have went back watched one episode a month.

MattN

Oh boy!! I really hope she does andor. Literally my favorite tv show, not just Star Wars tv show.

Clay F

All 27 Bond Movies? Great 2026 PiB watch goals but reacting to all 27 Bond movies seems excessive. That's 27 movies, a few of which are not good. I thought you + Carly did a good job on selection of Bond movies. There are several mediocre Bond movies. Please don't react to the original Casino Royal (1967) = that movie is abysmal. Whatever you do, I am 100% in support of you and the channel, and revel in the great things happening at the channel. Plus, my comments on the 27 movies are more my thoughts than complaining. I can't really complain -- after all, you are giving us months of GoT reactions -- some of the best reactions in PiB history.

Signe Urdskilde

A great war movie – and in foreign language, too – is Persian Lessons (2020). It has you sitting on edge all the time and pondering how that could possibly be inspired by true events. Unbroken (2014) is another great, and true, war movie. A foreign movie I think you might enjoy is Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019). The new scariest movie you’ve ever seen could conceivably be the admittedly unorthodoxically scary movie No Man of God (2021) with Elijah Wood. For the rom-com, consider Wild Mountain Thyme with Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan (2020). And lastly, a suggestion for a movie you have actively avoided, or so it seems at least🙂: Gone with the Wind (1939)? Anyway, Happy 2026 – may it bring both great and small miracles to us all and the world🥰🌍🙏

Brian's Dog

I think some Americanized Jackie Chan might go a long way: Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, etc. And then one old school kung-fu like 'The 36th Chamber of Shaolin'. Culture...

Shawn Kildal

Sense and Sensibility (1995) for a favorites romantic movie you've never seen perhaps?

Tim Weaver

Dirty Harry is def a series worth exploring, but I'd also suggest movies based on books of a popular author. John Grisham& Elmore Leonard spring to mind, I seem to recall u have already seen the firm, but I can't remember the pelican brief, the client, rainmaker, runaway jury being featured. Get shorty and Jackie Brown I think u did but out of sight I think u would ❤️

Nick Ireland

Such a great movie, she would love it

Nick Ireland

Romantic comedy - Moonstruck. Scariest movie you've ever seen - Hereditary. Foreign movie - Run Lola Run (German) , Cinema Paradiso (Italian). or Talk to Her (Spanish - you really should watch at least one Almodovar movie). Or you could watch the original Japanese version of The Ring ("Ringu") which covers foreign and very scary.

Tim Weaver

I think Kate & Leopold might be a winner for her as well. Innerspace if u want a lil comedy with your meg Ryan fix

Just Plain Bob

Suggestions for monster movie marathon: Lake Placid for a fun, light hearted romp of a monster movie with a love story. The Host for a heartfelt family drama masquerading as a monster movie. It’s Korean, so be ready for subtitles. It’s really a treatise on the importance of family. Frankenstein (2025) for the best adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic monster novel. Also worthy of consideration: Hellboy. Based on the graphic novels of the same name, it includes some of the best work ever done by Ron Perlman. Fantastic story with a deeper meaning.

Catherine LW

Affair to Remember with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr! ❤️

PianoDean

If you mean a new "TREK SERIES" absolutely...DS9, Voyager! But, if you mean a "NEW TREK" series....NO NO a million times NO. In my opinion, any Trek from Chris Pine onward is trash. How about voting on some episodes of TNG from seasons 3-7 that you SHOULD HAVE SEEN if time allowed? Also, one of my all time favorite romantic comedies is "Defending Your Life" with Meryl Streep. If you've never seen it....you'd love it

Henry M (black6q)

Fall in love with a never seen romcom: Man Up (2015) A Great War movie: War of the Arrows (2011) A great foreign movie: Life is Beautiful (1997)

Gray

Both good picks, Come & See is particularaly brutal. I'd say Stalingrad (1993) as another foreign pick

Catherine LW

Katie, there was great comedy in Affair to Remember in the beginning when they met on that cruise?

Kawaii Leonard

I can cross off two things on your list with 1 movie: World's End. It's the 3rd movie in the Cornetto trilogy (you already seen Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz). It's a comedy and it completes a trilogy/series.

Catherine LW

I think she may have seen it, but maybe I’m wrong…

FilmFanFred

Happy New Year Cassie! For a romance suggestion I'll make my first pitch of the new year for 1985's Ladyhawke (Matthew Broderick, Michelle Pfeiffer, Rutger Hauer). Definitely one you should watch with Carly.

Björn Karlsson

"Fall in love with a rom/com I havent seen". "A great foreign movie". Well then I know a perfect one for you. It's ranked on top 150 on the old popcorn request. Like a year it was the highest ranked non-english. Atm it's ranked as nr. 7 on the new popcorn request. (It will change) You have never done a reaction of a swedish film on your channel. Maybe you've never seen a swedish film. And I have been nagging about this film since April 2022 on your channel 🙄😬🙄 Of course I'm talking about "Show me love" from 1998 🤩🫠😏

MGCR

Thankfully there's only one bad Brosnan movie.

Mike Lemon

"how has your first official week in 2026 been?" It sucked a**. Wish list- -Bond - What is that, another 15 watch slots -Andor - Another 12 -Nolan - 3 -Dirty Harry - 5 -Trek - 100 - and Thrones still has, what 15 Can... can we watch some "not long ass series/ franchise"? You know, the original point of the channel. -finish a seires Why? For the vast majority of series, after the first one, maybe second, they are t*******. They is no point and they often diminish the previous ones. -rom-com It's not a comedy, but I highly recommend City of Angels for the romance part. Nic Cage and Meg Ryan, how could you go wrong. -A movie you've been avoiding Indictment: The McMartin Trial?

bd

Comedy suggestions you may like as much as Big Lebowski - In Bruges Burn After Reading The Nice Guys Punch Drunk Love Adaptation Death At A Funeral (2007 version, NOT the 2010 remake)

Katie Jackson

You're right, I haven't watched it in a few years and I mostly remember after the cruise

Johnny

Midnight Run is such a great movie. Cassie really needs to watch The Nice Guys - especially since she loved Kiss Kiss Bang Bang so much.

PianoDean

THE ROAD is absolutely one of my favorite movies ever, but not for it's entertainment value...but for it's plausibility. In my opinion it is the most plausible and realistic vision of what would happen in the event of a worldwide cataclysm....but I don't think Cassie would like it at all. It is EXTREMELY bleak and depressing. I just happen to love post-apocalyptic stuff. But if she chose to watch it...I'd want a front row seat.

Ray Pennisi

I don't think you've seen Raising Arizona yet, so I would heartily recommend that for a comedy!

bd

Scariest movies suggestions - Hereditary Talk To Me The Witch It Follows The Ring Drag Me To Hell Longlegs

Robert Jewell

I've been really hoping to see at least some more John Wayne Westerns on your channel, namely STAGECOACH (1939), FORT APACHE (1948) and RIO BRAVO (1959) just so you can get a fuller appreciation of him with 3 of the absolute best Westerns ever. Plus more Hitchcock. Namely NOTORIOUS (1946), but there are others as well you'd find really intriguing. Well, all the best 💕

Laura Thornley

Andor and more Trek? Yes please. And if you want a good foreign movie, let's go old school - Seven Samurai. Its the movie that inspired the classic Western The Magnificent Seven. Its by a huge margin my favourite black and white movie, and the dialogue is slow paced enough to allow for subtitles to be read easily.

Palapula

A couple of recommendations from a long time viewer, first time commentor: Fall in love with a never-seen romance/romcom: 'The Spectacular Now' (2013) A great foreign movie: Gonna recommend 3 very different movies. I'd say 'Pan's Labyrinth' (2006) for a serious life changing dark fantasy adventure film. 'Parasite' (2019) for a great Korean dark comedy thriller. '3 Idiots' (2009) for an Bollywood oddball heartwarming but serious comedy. For a new trek series: People love DS9 and Voyager but they can't be watched the same way you did TNG. They are a much slower burn with lower peaks that require a lot more buildup. If you want something more modern, Lower Decks is probably the best Trek Series in ages or possibly Strange New Worlds as a decent take on different Universe.

Bill Maurer

Big YES on ALL the remaining Bonds - which will include "Thunderball" !!! With inflation, this is the 2nd highest grossing Bond Movie of all time, after "Skyfall". Great War Movie? How about Gettysburg (1993). Based on actual events (save one character) on the battle that was the turning point of the US Civil War. Not sure I would go with "great" but pretty dang good. YES on Monster Movie Marathon !! the original "The Thing from Another Planet", "Them", "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and on and on ... Definitely a Charlie Chaplin movie, but I would add a Marx Brothers Movies as well, "A Night at the Opera" is their best and an all time classic Way past time for "Dirty Harry". Not sure if you ever seen a Kirk Douglas movie. I would highly recommend "Spartacus". That way you can knock out a great war movie / romance movie all in one film. "Spartacus" is a lot of things to a lot of movies buffs, to me, it is a love story. No spoilers. Always another John Wayne movie. "The Man who Shot Liberty Valance" with Jimmy Stewart or "El Dorado" with Robert Mitchum and a young James Caan. Michele Carey is always good eye candy.

Björn Karlsson

Hehehe the scariest movies for Cassie must be swedish ones 😅😅

Chris Davis

I'm going to keep trying to win the Pick of the Month so that you can watch "The Best of Times" with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell from 1986. An '80's Rom Com that I think you and Carly will both love...

Just Plain Bob

I just took a look at the AFI Top 100 movies. By my count, there are still 47 movies on the list that Cassie hasn’t seen. For each of those, there’s gotta be several dozen other great films she hasn’t seen. Hundreds (probably thousands) of good films waiting to be seen. Instead, we’ll get more tv series and re-watches. I’m very disappointed by that.

Gray

Good news Seven Samurai has a reaction on the channel already.

Gray

The Descent would be quite the watch aswell.

bd

Foreign movie suggestions - Spirited Away Pan’s Labyrinth Oldboy Parasite Let The Right One In Also some British films I think Cassie would enjoy - The Third Man Four Lions Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels In The Loop 28 Weeks/Years Later Slumdog Millionaire Moon Brief Encounter

Just Plain Bob

Superb suggestions. +1 for all of them.

René Ferland

Okay here are my suggestions (IMDb score included). Movies with a love story in it: Our Souls at Night (2017) - 6.9 [Robert Redford/Jane Fonda] Labor Day (2013) - 6.9 [Josh Brolin/Kate Winslet] No Reservations (2007) - 6.3 [Aaron Eckhart/Catherine Zeta-Jones] Stanley & Iris (1990) - 6.3 [Robert de Niro/Jane Fonda] Legal Eagles (1986) - 6.0 [Robert Redford/Debra Winger] Tootsie (1982) - 7.4 [Dustin Hoffman/Jessica Lange] Chaplin's movies: City Light (1931) - 8.5 [My favorite] Limelight (1952) - 8.0 [Chaplin will make you cry] Movies about forgiveness: An Unfinished Life (2005) - 7.0 [Robert Redford/Morgan Freeman] Ulee's Gold (1997) - 7.0 [Peter Fonda] Foreign movies: The New Year That Never Came (2024) - 8.2 [Romania] El secreto de sus ojos (2009) - 8.2 [Argentina] Dear Frankie (2004) - 7.7 [Scotland] Facing Windows (2003) - 7.2 [Italy/Turkey] La Femme Nikita (1990) - 7.2 [France, the original one]

Julian G

The scariest movie should be MY first real scary, too. INSIDIOUS... I was a pansy then watched things that aren't scary that she's seen. Like the thing, silence of the lambs, etc. It's a great story, but has ALL the scars. (Personally, I watched it to rewatch it with my step dad. He like 80s slashers, and I was a HUGH pansy. I watched it, re watched it until the sun came up. And then saw it with him. He was scared SHITLESS. The smile on my face :) ) INSIDIOUS

Sam

The only series I watch was the 3 seasons of Reacher on Amazon Prime. Definitely the Dirty Harry movies - they are what got me into law enforcement. Not interested in Andor, Star Trek (only good one was OG), or Batman - just like MCU and Star Wars, same thing over and over and over putting in new people when the originals are too old. A scary movie? - I do love to see you and Carly jump and scream. Did you do The Blues Brothers? Great comedy from 1980 with dozens of famous people in it. A romance I think you would like is Robert Redford/Kristen Scott Thomas The Horse Whisperer - it has a twist that I wonder what you would do if in their position. I sure hope that bathroom sink stays organized all year. And lets get over 500k.

David Collins

I am here to say Andor is amazing.

Katie Sivak

Can you watch Strangers Things with Carly? Also People we meet on Vacation Hope Floats

Alexander

Long time follower, so few comments made; but my suggestions for war/drama/action/foreign movies are The Assingment (1997) with Aidan Quinn, Donald Sutherland and Sir Ben Kingsley; amazing hidden gem of a movie Savior (1998) with Dennis Quaid, very powerful dramatic war movie set in the Bosnian Wars Y Tu Mamá También (2001) from Mexico, a powerful hard hitting story about life and coming of age City Of God (2002) from Brazil, it’s a must see heavy hitter, uncomfortable but also necessary But as always I enjoy all your reactions, and hope for TV Series you pick Andor, it’s just that amazing!!

Katie Sivak

Scary movies Silver Bullet Insidious Leprechaun series for st Patrick day

Morgan A. Colbert

Andor on this list really makes my day. It's my favorite show out of the last several years and I'll happily rewatch it along with you. Also a romcom you've never seen! Someone Like You! 2001 Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman, love love love. Way to go Tanner, Assassination of Jesse James is a great movie.

Mark White

Hi Cassie, I just watched the last PaF. I’m really impressed with the new PaF, Bens done a great job. Your 2026 watch list looks great. Watch more Bonds, Yes please! My favourite is “Moonraker” is my kind of Bond lunacy! Andor: I haven’t seen it yet, but I hear good things. Fall in love with a new Romance/RomCom: Give “Cocktail” a go with Tom Cruise. A Great War movie: give “Dirty Dozen” a go, or a war Comedy! “Kelly’s Hero’s” is great fun. Nolan’s Batmans, I’m up for a rewatch. I never seen a CC movie all the way through, so a first for me too. A movie you have been avoiding: “INTERSTELLAR” come on, you need to do this! It’s fantastic! Monster movie marathon: there are so many, but you really need to try the Ray Harryhausen movies. There are many, but my favourite is “Clash of the Titans” 1981 It’s got a classic love story in it for you. A comedy: you loved “Hot Fuzz” and you mentioned wanting to finish the trilogy, which means watching “the worlds end” but trust me! You will much prefer “Paul” with the same actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Finish a series: my choice would be the Prequel and sequel to silence of the lambs, “Red Dragon” and “Hannibal” Dirty Harry, yes please and all the sequels, they are all well worth a watch. But if you want more Clint, go for “Escape from Alcatraz” an amazing suspense movie and true story! STAR TREK!! OMG YES!! Any will do! Voyager is my favourite though. Scary Movie: you know which one! Begins with a E! 😱😉 Thanks for the update, great stuff, F4 I just watched last week, so it will be interesting to see what you think. Some people love it. My wife hated it! I thought it was ok. Anywho, tell Ben thanks for sorting out my problem. It’s amazing you guys can sort out something so quick that Patreon couldn’t in weeks! You are the best ❤️

Just Plain Bob

Comedy suggestions: Super Troopers - starring the Broken Lizard gang, highway cop hijinks This Is Spinal Tap - the best mockumentary ever made and a perfect tribute to Rob Reiner The Blues Brothers - John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd on a mission from God Raising Arizona - Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter showing off significant comedy acting chops; Cage has never been better, Cassie will love him in this Real Genius - a comedic showcase for Val Kilmer’s charm

Jeri1979

For the PIB wach goals: Thumbs up for the rest of the James Bonds, you have missed a few good ones. Andor is indeed the best of the new Star Wars shows, but thats very easy nowadays. Imo its pretty mediocre and not worth watching. Although watching Star Trek was a great idea (the Youtube views prove it) and I am a huge fan of the older shows I would not recommend to continue watching it. Only shows worth watching would be DS9 or Voyager, but they are very different from TNG and dont reach its quality, especially Voyager. Unfortunately I feel like 2025 was a pretty weak year for PIB content-wise. You can even see this clearly in your patreon membership development. First six months in 2025 it was continuously declining until GoT startet on the channel. The planet of the apes series and the Last of us season 2 was pretty weak and there have been a lot of older movies (older than 1970/80). Indeed I felt in 2025 I mostly liked only one third of the posted content and thats only because you watched GoT. If you want a recommendation I would like you to bring back the second half of 2024, one banger after the other, that was a really great time. We had Star Trek, X-men and a lot of 90s and 80s flicks. Best time to watch PIB in my opinion. I hope this does not all sound too negative, PIB is still the best reaction channel and I appreciate all your work. :-)

Who's the Master!!

Clay F

Ditto

Clay F

+1 for Our Souls at Night and An Unfinished Life.

Greg Johanson

I would freak out if you watched Deep Space Nine

Clay F

Ben is doing a great job with the programming.

Andrew R

Watch all James Bonds on the channel?! I've waited patiently through MCU, Bond, Mission Impossible, GOTs and now we want to go back to Bond? There's so many great and interesting movies yet to explore but the low hanging fruit seems to take up most of the reaction slots.

Clay F

Congrats Tanner. Andor is awesome.

Clay F

She reacted to Spirited Away

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

"Fall in love with a never seen romance" I REALLY recommend Terrence Malick's masterpiece, Days of Heaven (1978), starring Richard Gere, Brooke Adams, Linda Manz and playwright Sam Shepard! It is one of the most stunningly beautiful films ever shot and I think you and Carly would absolutely love it!..... and it's only an hour and a half long!

Ace Degenerate

Am I the meanest? Am I the prettiest? Am I the baddest mofo low down around this town? I. CAN’T. HEAR. YOU. Yeaaaahhhhhh…. 🇯🇵THE SHŌGUN OF HARLEM 🇯🇵

Clay F

Voyager (which I love) is episodic and could be reacted to in an abbreviated fashion, as was TNG. In contrast, DS9 is serial and not conducive to being reacted in an abbreviated fashion, as was TNG. SNW is a good suggestion. Lower Decks gets good reviews but I am not big on animated.

Josh T

Suggestion for series: Star Trek: Deep Space nine Fringe

Scott O

Watched this on repeat on HBO when I was a youngin.

James M

Chaplin!! I'm afraid a poll will take you to "Modern Times". It's fine but... IMO both "City Lights" and "The Gold Rush" are more entertaining. Your first Chaplin feature really needs to be one of these three. How about a western rom-com with none other than John Wayne and the beautiful French actress Capucine? That would be "North to Alaska" (1960). "Dirty Harry" (1971) is a very gutsy film. This whole style of brutal crime movies seems to have been ushered in by "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967). Once it was clear just how tough you could go filmmakers jumped at the chance. Dirty Harry is a prime example. Movies like "The French Connection" and "The Godfather" would elevate this style while the Dirty Harry franchise eventually gave it almost a made-for-tv watered down feel. But not the first one. The original "Dirty Harry" is as sharp as a razor and well worth watching. You can find a lot of charming old rom-coms if you dig back in time. All the old Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies were romcoms. Most people pick "Top Hat" (1935) as the best. Of course they are also musicals with several song and dance numbers. If the musical puts you off, you can also find classic romcom films that aren't. "His Girl Friday" (1940) with no less a pairing than Carey Grant and Rosalind Russell is a Howard Hawks masterpiece.

MrKsummer7

I believe First Lady Nancy Reagan once told us, "Just Say No" to drugs, and Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon. I agree! 😉 Not sure if my superhero fatigue will allow me to watch The Fantastic Four. But I like this list, Cassie. I think … James Bond films – Go back and watch the ones you haven’t seen. Andor Season 1 & 2 – turned out better than I expected. Worth the watch. Never seen romance/romcom – Blind Date (1987) Bruce Willis, Kim Basinger Nolan’s Batman – Why do a reaction to films you’ve already seen? A great war movie – Kelly's Heroes (1970) Clint Eastwood Charlie Chaplin Movie – The Kid (1921) or City Lights (1931) Watch a movie you actively avoid – You know what film that one is LOL Monster Movie Marathon – Do a few from the 60’s & 70’s, (George A. Romero, Hammer House of Horror). Then switch to Japanese Horror, Directors Takashi Shimizu and Takashi Miike Films Dirty Harry films – Yes, all of them are good. New Trek Series – Are super Woke and God awful! Don’t waste your time. New Scariest movie – Barbarian (2022), same writer/director for Weapons (2025)

Shawn Kildal

She's talked about not having seen it in a past livestream, so I'm assuming that is the case. Which is weird knowing how much she loves Pride and Prejudice

James M

IMO "Rio Bravo" and "Stagecoach" are both must-see films.

Rick Williams

Which Fantastic Four movie will you be watching Cassie?

James M

More than a few are not good. I would not recommend half of them.

Clay F

Mark White

Yes, More Wayne. RIO BRAVO is a great choice for Cassie

Jay Soliva

The watch goals could totally be a game of bingo lol

Mark White

Oh yes, Hellboy and Hellboy 2 the golden army is well worth a reaction.

Shawn Kildal

Her interest in FF probably has more to do with Pedro Pascal than the history of the superhero group themselves

Clay F

As for the James Bonds, you said she had "missed a few good ones." Did she also miss a few mediocre (or even bad) ones?

John A

Really needs to do Interstellar

John A

I know there are better John Wayne movies but I really think she'd like McLintock the most

Nim

That’s a great goals list and you’ve even bravely put down a willingness to watch a movie you’ve been avoiding and a new contender for scariest movie you’ve ever seen. Bravo Cassie. The Cassie/Carly Bond reactions were always great fun. Great action, cheesy humour, exotic locations/women, cool gadgets and evil schemes. You guys got through a fair chunk of the 25 or so movies on offer. For finishing a series, I think you could go back and complete the very oldest franchise reactions on the channel consisting of Indiana Jones, Alien, the matrix and the Hannibal Lecter series of movies. As you’re thinking of the Nolan Batman’s just remember there’s still the val kilmer and George Clooney batman’s that people don't like 😂 and you said you wanted to explore another animated batman. The best way to find a new comedy you absolutely love will be to dedicate a fair bit of genre time to it. If you can do a whole month of straight horror genre in October then you absolutely deserve a whole month of recommended comedies too. I was thinking that you did us trekkies a solid last time out but delving into star trek once more might be difficult for those that weren’t invested in the franchise the first time around but the numbers don’t lie and your compilation episode format consistently got you over 100k views per video upload. The Sherlock Holmes films are both excellent “buddy cop” adventures and set in the Victorian era for something different. Guy Ritchie is on top form again and RDJ and Jude Law are fantastic together. Would also love for you to jump into the world of Narnia movies in 2026. Love a bit of the fantasy genre.

Shawn Kildal

An underrated rom-com imo is Frankie and Johnny (1991) with Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer

Mark White

I would love more TNG. there are so many great episodes Cassie would enjoy.

Rene G.

I’m guessing the movie you been “avoiding” to watch is either the strangers or exorcist

Rene G.

Sadly the pascal one

Rene G.

Ugggh andor was booooorrring. Couldn’t finish to 3 episodes of first season

Mark White

Moonraker for me is a must. It’s where Austin powers movies get much of their inspiration from. Hilarious great fun.

Nim

Shot in Canada too 👍

Suggestions for war movie: M*A*S*H - comedy drama featuring Donald Sutherland, Tom Skerritt, and Elliott Gould as Army doctors in the Korean War; perfect introduction to the films of Robert Altman Heartbreak Ridge - Clint Eastwood is the movie-perfect Marine, trying to whip his new platoon into shape Dirty Dozen - twelve criminals train to pull off an impossible mission in WW2; stars Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson, Donald Sutherland and Jim Brown Deer Hunter - Robert DeNiro, John Cazale and Christopher Walken as small town recruits to the Vietnam War Tora! Tora! Tora! - the definitive theatrical account of the attack on Pearl Harbor

2-Can

You can knock off both a great war movie and a great foreign movie with The Lighthorsemen (1987). (Also good for Australia Day)

Mark White

Oh yes 😱😱😱😱😆

John A

The Road is my second favorite book ever

Travis Tate

2001 is a Kubrick Masterpiece that changed scifi forever. Mindbending and twisty, it is one of the greatest Films of all Time. So excited!

Mark White

Yes, that would be awesome. If anybody remembers the guy in the bath tub in The Truman show, the scene near the end where he is hanging on to the shower current screaming “you can do it, hold on!” That’s Cassie watching Free Solo 😂

Stephen Malloy

I’ll suggest two war movies, pick either one. The Train, starring Burt Lancaster (the older Doc Graham from Field of Dreams) or Paths of Glory, starring Kirk Douglas (father of Michael Douglas from Romancing the Stone).

Mark White

Spinal Tap 😂😂 I love it! But I’m just not sure what Cassie would make of it!

Clay F

+1 for Paths of Glory

Above Average Dave

Well, PlanoDean, I generally don’t associate liking a horror movie and Cassie in the same sentence. I think she’s gotten better, but her watching true horror seems to be more service to the channel and us rather than her saying, “Gee, I really want to watch a horror movie tonight!” That said, your description is spot on. And, John A, it’s a masterfully written book, but also pure nightmare fuel.

Clay F

I think my top two are your list are M*A*S*H and Deer Hunter. Tora! Tora! Tora! is factual but I like it.

Gary Brown

Cassie, hi. I couldn't watch City Slickers with u yet, because i could only buy it on YouTube. i saw this when i was much younger and i ordered it from Walmart online. Hopefully it'll arrive early. i think u stopped at Pierce Brosnan James Bond, so u don't have many left . U have M.I. 7 part 2 Final Reckoning with Tom Cruise and that brings that franchise to a close. If u watch a new Star Trek series, think about Enterprise with Scott Bakula from Quantum Leap. There aren't many great Star Trek series. U should watch the Maze Runner films. If u haven't seen Blackhawk Down, that's a great war film. When u say monster movie marathon, do u mean the Universal Monsters.? Well, this year you're gonna finish GOT, so u could watch Stranger Things season 5, Wednesday seasons 1 and 2. i'm confused by ur wanting to watching the new scariest movie u have ever seen. Are we talking films in the last 5 years? 80s horror is the best . I don't wanna scar u for u for life, but r u gonna try watching Exorcist , a film u have been avoiding. I think the Insiduous films might be a fit for u since u have already seen some really scary films. Dirty Harry Fims are top tier films. It's funny charlie Chaplin is on ur list because Ashleigh had her monthly live yesterday and got sent maybe 4. Lol. I can't help u with the views, but i hope u accomplish that. I'll have to think about a rom com and a comedy for u. I'm down for re-watching Nolan's Batmans with u. Last, i have a boring but necessary resolution. I still fit into ur shirts i bought from ur store, but i've gone from 200 to 230 too quickly. so hopefully 2026 is my year. Also, natalie went in for surgery this january . It might be for her back , but not sure. So i'm sure u will keep her in ur thoughts and prayers. Love ur guts!

Mark White

+1 for Lock stock and two smoking barrels and Moon

Mark White

Forgot about “Spartacus” that’s a must for Cassie, absolute classic.

Phil Stubblefield

Despite being a Star Wars fan, I just didn't enjoy Andor. It was just too dark and didn't seem to fit in the SW universe. 😟

John A

Midnight Run!

Dear PiB family and PIB distinguished viewers. We finally made it to Snowbird UT. My gf Eva said on the way up here that she admires Cassie ( Especially after reading the BYU code of conduct) She said she looks up to her. Its hard not to. We have been skiing all week https://youtu.be/WaeRM7X_yS4?si=x4IrXP-m8V2r6G7S Sharon Tate movie should be added to your list for 2026. We should celebrate her life and the amazing things she did in it. About last wee: Well there was City Slickers so many memories that brought back. My Dad actually picked that movie when we're in the Rio San Juan. Eva said watching Cassie and you feel like your home. We will binge GOT. Then there was this: https://photos.app.goo.gl/AvFo2jeo9Qp6oZBx7 The week ahead looks great Fantastic Four we loved it that movie. The Last Dragon will be a Eva only watch. Since I have already seen it. The song of the week: this seems appropriate because I have been mostly following her down the mountains. Sometimes she follows me: https://youtu.be/5LuH0ywYVQc?si=1B0LfcWVUa9SOij-

Rene G.

to me it was soooo boooorrrinnngg. Couldn't finish season 1.

Clay F

Dirty Harry (1971) is great for a reaction, but skip the sequels. If you react to Dirty Harry (1971), don't auto-react to the first sequel -- instead require the first sequel to win a poll before reaction. --Dirty Harry (1971) (RT 89%) = Eastwood and director Don Siegel. --Escape from Alcatraz (1979) (RT 97%) (awesome movie) = another collaboration between Eastwood and Don Siegel. --In my feeble opinion, PiB patrons would be better served if you reacted to "Escape from Alcatraz" (1979) (an original movie) over any of the Dirty Harry sequels which are inferior to the original Dirty Harry.

Rene G.

2026 watch goals: Collab with KatWatcheshorrormovies more to expand your typical "Octoberfest halloween horror reactions only" outside the scheduled holidays.. Christmas movies with Kat like Black Christmas, Silent Night DeadlyNight, Krampus, Terrifer 3 (It takes place at christmas too) Sadly, you need to marathon that one with her.

Rick Williams

That's what I figured. She loves Pascal.

2-Can

You could get both a comedy you'll love and a foreign film just by watching Johnny English (2003). Rowan Atkinson's take on a James Bond type of movie.

Richard Maurer

Hereditary is a good choice - if she’s willing.

Robert Lemond

Scary Movie suggestions: Rosemary’s Baby(1968) The Exorcist(1973) The Omen(1976) I know the Holidays are over but Black Christmas(1974) Friday the 13th(1980)

Clay F

I thought Andor captured the essence of Star Wars perfectly. I was glad the implementation was different than typical SW content (not slave to some formula). Refreshing. More for adults.

Richard Maurer

Shin Godzilla - better than any of the American ones.

Richard Maurer

She said she’s looking to watch a movie she’s been actively avoiding and the scariest movie she’s ever seen - so why are people trying to tell her she can’t watch certain movies ? Let her decide.

Jack

I wish they’d make YT edits for the Patreon exclusives and just make them Patreon exclusives too. I’d love to watch her Spirited Away reaction, but I don’t like full reactions.

Jack

Perhaps take a look at Howl’s Moving Castle from Studio Ghibli? I think Cassie would really, really love it. I mean really love it.

My_Cousin_Mose

I must sadly say almost nothing on that list excites me. I could definitely get on board with more comedy. My top recommendation would be Zoolander. Followed by Idiocracy and This is Spinal Tap. I would also love to see great movies from the early 2000's and before that you missed out on growing up. Like the movie Children of Men, The Outsiders, or Black Beauty. And my last request for 2026 would be some more animation. Either older movies like The Last Unicorn or The Fox and the Hound. Or a short newer anime like Frieren. Edit: I FORGOT BORAT! Its definitely my number 1 comedy recommendation.

Just Plain Bob

Suggestions for a foreign film: Anatomy - creepy happenings at a prestigious German medical school A Better Tomorrow - one of John Woo’s greatest Hong Kong action films, starring his muse, Chow Yun Fat Blood and Black Lace - one of the earliest and best of the gialli Deep Red - best giallo ever made, directed by the Italian Alfred Hitchcock, Dario Argento Brotherhood of the Wolf - mix of palace intrigue, romance, kung fu and a werewolf(?), set just a few decades before the French Revolution Confession of Murder - a man confesses to murders he may or may not have committed, after the statute of limitations has passed Death Note - what will a young man do when he comes into great power via a magic journal? Devil’s Backbone - early Guillermo del Toro; weird happenings at an orphanage against the backdrop of the Spanish Civil War Hidden Fortress - inspiration for Star Wars I Saw the Devil - a police officer catches a serial killer, but that’s only the beginning Kung Fu Hustle - wonderfully light hearted take on martial arts films Rec - a news crew is on hand when there’s a viral outbreak at an apartment complex Rififi - greatest heist movie ever made Yojimbo - loosely based on the novel “Red Harvest” (though Akira Kurosawa denied it), it spawned remakes starring Clint Eastwood (Fistful of Dollars) and Bruce Willis (Last Man Standing)

Rene G.

Another 2026 watch goals: Have Carly coillab with Kat to traumatize her more with her every horror reactions that needs re-watching. lol

Gray

Hey Mark I finally managed to get my hands on copy of The Alpinist recently, what a film!. Even Alex Honnold was saying he was doing climbs too dangerous. Shows how much the guy pushed it to do his passion. Will have to do rewatch at some point. Im still rooting for Touching The Void each PaF.

YodatheHobbit

Ghibli movies get copyright claimed on YouTube.

Mark Vaderr

Cassie, here are my recommendation's for you. You know that I never let you down. ;) Fall in love with a never-seen romance/rom-com: Drama: "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?" (1967) Comedy: "Barefoot In The Park" (1967) A Great War Movie: "Tora!, Tora!, Tora!" (1970), or "The Thin Red Line" (1998) A Great Foreign Movie: "Life Is Beautiful" (1997) or "Downfall" (2004) Watch a comedy I love as much as The Replacements & The Big Lebowski: "Tootsie" (1982) or "The Birdcage" (1996) Watch the new scariest movie I've ever seen: "The Ring" (2002), or "The Descent" (2005), or "The Mist" (2007), or "The Strangers" (2008)

Larry Darrell

Any true Bond fan knows that Casino Royale (1967) is not a real James Bond film. It’s not Canon. Not associated with Ian Fleming’s/Broccoli & Saltzman Bond films. Only reason to watch it is to see a fun 60s film with an All-Star cast and an awesome soundtrack.

kaiielle

"You know, the original point of the channel." That isn't set in stone and doesn't have to last forever. People change and their desires change. Seems like Cassie wants to switch things up a little and her wishlist indicates that she wants to experience more stories that are continuous. It makes sense she wants more of that, because she enjoys it a lot. (You're allowed to dislike that she wants that, of course.)

JohnnyUtah

All sounds good to me!

Gray

+1 for Rec

Clay F

+1 for "The Thin Red Line" (1998)

Clay F

My kids liked Howl’s Moving Castle. Would likely be a Patreon exclusive.

Just Plain Bob

Comedies and horror films are the two hardest genres to predict in terms of others’ enjoyment. So much is down to personal taste. There have been horror films that received great acclaim that I didn’t find frightening at all (Hereditary) and comedies that are considered classics that didn’t get so much as a giggle out of me (Blazing Saddles).

kaiielle

Any reason to re-watch Andor is good with me and I would love to do so with you. I think you would really enjoy it. I loved it, it's very high-quality and mature Star Wars. I was curious if there was a rom-com I've seen that you haven't. There are a few and out of them, I would love to see Charade (1963) or Moonstruck (1987). For foreign films, maybe another Kurosawa? 😊 A movie you've been actively avoiding.. Well, I saw Mark White say Interstellar for this and I'll add a +1 to that one. Watch it in the theatre room! "Have one of my Popcorn Pick of the Month's get over 100k views" - You may have better luck with this if you focus on picking something out of the "new movie releases" category. I think there were a few good ones from 2025 that were missed. Comedies you'll enjoy as much as The Big Lebowski? It might not do as well view-wise, but The Hudsucker Proxy is made by the same guys (the Coen brothers) and it has the same absurdist-style of comedy. Finish a series - I know an easy way to achieve this one... you and Carly still need to watch MI: The Final Reckoning. 😉

Richard Maurer

Those movies are mediocre - at best. The current one is far and away the best version, so why bother with the others?

kaiielle

+1 for "The Ring"!

Joel Wayne

+1 for Barefoot in the Park (1967) I also recommend "Some Kind of Wonderful" (1987)

Richard Maurer

Hellboy (2004) and its sequel; The Golden Army would be great.

Rene G.

Annnd up next on the 2026 watch goals for the Kubrick list?? Clockwork orange... I read the book and the book makes the movie look like PG disney stuff.. Are you ready for that old "ultra violence" at the milk bar cassie? Also, Eyes Wide Shut, his last movie before his death.

Rene G.

Pan's Labyrinth too, Ringu, Ju-on the grudge, not the crappy U.S. remakes.

Richard Maurer

Ringu over The Ring, otherwise good list.

Clay F

I am so excited we may get Andor. Different than typical SW content but captures essence of SW. If you want a SW series that is refreshing and mature (for adults), Andor is it. The most acclaimed SW live-action series -- by critics and users alike. Mandalorian is the only live-action SW series that comes close. Andor = 22 Emmy® nominations including Outstanding Drama Series. Diego Luna nominated for Golden Globe for Best Actor (twice – both seasons). Stellan Skarsgård is great. Again, Andor a more "mature" or “adult” SW series, i.e., a SW series for grownups.

YodatheHobbit

I really hope Andor comes to fruition. (no spoilers) It's VERY WELL PUBLICIZED that the show doesn't get exciting till episodes 4-5-6, yet I'm seeing people still keep willingly depriving themselves of the best SW since Empire. Them being so out of the loop with how good the show gets is so frustrating, especially in how it relates to current events. It's absolutely BAFFLING that every single person who watches more than the first 4 episodes absolutely loves it and keep telling those who stopped they're NUTS to quit, it having some of Stelan Sarsgaard's best work, most incredible monologues of his career, etc, yet people keep quitting or not giving it another second chance, despite winning 5 Emmys last year. They stop 3 episodes into being introduced to Cassian before he's even really started his journey of gaining any of the qualities, leadership, and dedication to taking down The Empire he has in Rogue One, and it's a hard journey for him in gaining those qualities. Those who don't like it all predictably keep making the exact same mistake, over, and over, and over again, like clockwork. And they keep that grudge like a badge of honor, afraid to admit they may have been wrong. So much missed out on just because of a lack of patience. It's a sad thing to see.

Richard Maurer

Real Genius is a favorite ( in a genre I ‘m not really a fan of - comedy)

Mike Lemon

Frieren, short? It's 28 episodes with 10 more coming in 9 days. It's no Naruto or Fairy Tale or even Full Metal (yet) but I wouldn't put it in "short". It is very good though. edit- Forgot- +1 for The Last Unicorn and if she hasn't seen it (but I think she has),Fox and the Hound.

Richard Maurer

The best one, which is the new one. The rest are cheesy at best.

Kristin

Trek series, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise and Voyager (old trek) need to be watched sequentially, cannot watch random episodes. Deep Space Nine would be next on the list and is excellent and right up your alley as Trek goes. Don't watch New Trek unless you've seen the old Treks. If you want a fun sci-fi series to get into, which I think you'd actually enjoy more than Trek, Stargate SG-1. This show needs to be watched from the beginning, but will give you years of content, enjoyed by most sci-fans.

YodatheHobbit

You've never stopped not having some "not long ass series/franchise". We get multiple stand alone films a month.

Rene G.

Hellraiser 1-5, plus all Chucky movies, Nightmare on elm street sequels.

Kristin

Oooh, I think Cassie would love Deep Space Nine. There's some good interpersonal drama that she likes, and really excellent characters arcs that are great, something that is a little flat in TNG. TOS/TNG/DS9 are the of the Treks.

John A

Romcom - you ever see The Sweetest Thing back in the day? War - far and away both Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima Foreign - does Inglorious Basterds count? Avoiding - easily Interstellar. I don't get it Monsters - does this include Abbot and Costello? Comedy - I'll go with Joe Dirt, but I really wanna say Dude Where's My Car Series - I don't know about finishing one but I'd love for you to watch Eastbound and Down. Very quick 4 seasons Dirty Harry? Yeah sure, but also another movie he directed, Mystic River Horror: Original Candyman or Bone Tomahawk, can't choose

Joel Wayne

War film...."The Green Berets" (1968) John Wayne

Kristin

Good idea with watching more TNG episodes. There are so many that are great that she didn't see.

YodatheHobbit

What a wildly different between them and random assortment of flavors you've chosen. 😋

Clay F

Great war movie is high for me on your goals. In no particular order: A. The Thin Red Line (1998) [Terrence Malick] (WWII). Nom 7 Oscars incl. Best Pic. B. Empire of the Sun (1987) [Spielberg] (WWII). Nom 6 Oscars. 13-yr old Christian Bale (as lead), John Malkovich. C. Three Kings (1999) (Iraq). RT 94%. Mark Wahlberg, George Clooney. D. The Killing Fields (1984) (Cambodia). Based on true story. Nom 7 Oscars incl. BP. C. The Deer Hunter (1978) (Vietnam). AFI Top 100. Won Best Picture Oscar. G. M*A*S*H (1970) (Korea). AFI Top 100. Nom 5 Oscars incl. Best Picture. Starring Donald Sutherland H. OTHERS = Downfall (2004) (WWII), The English Patient (1996) (WWII) (won 9 Oscars), Mudbound (2017) (WWII) [RT 97%], and arfare (2025) (Iraq) [RT 92%].

Strangelove50

A great forgotten romcom: Next Stop, Wonderland (1998) w/ Hope Davis. Only the Lonely (1991) w/ John Candy a good one, too. A great war movie: Seems like you've done most of the great war movies already, Windtalkers (2002), Nicholas Cage and Flags of Our Fathers (2006) are pretty decent. Perhaps you should consider doing a fictitious post nuclear film such as On the Beach (1959), The Day After (1983), or Testament (1983); really dark and depressing, but with the threat looming, good to discuss and consider what you would do in such a situation. A great foreign movie and scary movie in one: The Vanishing (1988); An English/domestic based version of this was made in 1993 with Jeff Bridges and Keifer Sutherland, also worth a look. Another great foreign film that was mentioned on a few other forums already: Society of the Snow (2023). Not sure if this one counts as foreign (takes place in India and Australia), but Lion (2016) is an amazing true story about a young man living with adopted family setting out to find his biological mother whom he was lost and accidentally separated from at age 5. Some of my recommended comedy/satire films: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), Intolerable Cruelty (2003), Dr. Strangelove (1964).

Clay F

+1 for Letters from Iwo Jima

Clay F

Voyager is episodic like TNG and thus could be reacted to in an abbreviated fashion as was TNG. In contrast, DS9 is too serial.

Richard Maurer

My thoughts on ‘26 watch goals (that I care enough to comment on) Bond? You could watch Man with the Golden Gun and that would be enough for me. Andor - absolutely. Foreign and scariest you’ve ever seen could be combined - Ringu (98) and/or Ju-On : The Grudge (02) cover both categories nicely. Film you’ve been avoiding (and possibly scariest) - Hereditary? Monster marathon - without a doubt, but make sure it includes Shin Godzilla - could also be a PPotM that will get over 100k. other reactors have between 200 and 400k in a year with it. Dirty Harry - yes, but just the first one though.

Just Plain Bob

Hard as it is to believe, she’s seen Pan’s Labyrinth.

Mike Lemon

@Yoda- Do the math on those, she would be devoting 2/3 of the watches to just the things I listed, add in October and December and there is basically nothing left. (1) Plus the whole, well you still have *something* is a disingenuous argument at best. If you went into work tomorrow and your boss said, "good news, you're not fired but you are now only going to make 2/3 (or 1/3) of your previous salary," you would be pissed. (edit- fixed a quote mark) (1)- Let's actually do the rough math- 150 watch slots a year -15 Bond -15 Thrones -50 Trek -12 Andor -3 Nolan -5 Dirty Harry -1 Rom-com -1 War -1 Foreign -1 Chaplin -1 Avoiding -3 Monster (minimum) -12 Pick-a-Flick -1 Comedy -12 October -12 December ____ 5 left over for everything else. FIVE. Oh I forgot- -12 Cassie's Popcorn pick of the month ____ -7 She'll need two months of 4 "movie" weeks to break even, with ZERO for "We get multiple stand alone films a month".

Richard Maurer

Include Abbot and Costello? I sure hope it doesn’t.

Just Plain Bob

Never been a fan of the Fantastic Four comics but the new movie is easily the best. The Chris Evans movies seemed to very much be examples of movies by corporate committee. And the Michael B. Jordan one was absolutely terrible. I loved the visual aesthetic of the new movie and it was great to see one of the all time great comic book villains, Galactus, properly presented on film.

Bill Maurer

A different kind of John Wayne western. Maureen O’Hara is always great to watch

John A

They're all the same movie over and over anyway

Richard Maurer

I seriously doubt Cassie will get to even half of her watch goals, and hopefully the ones she does get to will be the right ones - I.e., the ones I want ;-)

Richard Maurer

Did anyone mention she reacted to it already?

Just Plain Bob

Kat did a reaction to Hellboy and it’s one of my favorite all time reactions. Absolutely great pair of films.

Kristin

Probably for the best. I wouldn't want her to watch the whole show. There's a lot that just isn't good.

Richard Maurer

Cassie - stop now before it’s too late ;-)

Just Plain Bob

I hate rewatches. But Pan’s Labyrinth is in my top 10 favorite films of all time so I’d happily be a hypocrite and watch a reaction.

Bill Maurer

Foreign films Downfall (2004) - story of the final days in Hitler’s bunker told by his secretary and those who lived. Bruno Ganz as Hitler was a masterful and terrorizing performance Pilecki’s Report (2023) - good movie about one of the bravest man of WW II, Wiltold Pilecki who volunteered to be captured by the Germans and sent to Auschwitz to report on what’s happening there and to lead a resistance. Unbelievable.. PS: Predator: Bandlands is out. Great Predator movie

Bill Maurer

Happy New Year and nice last name

Richard Maurer

Re-watches should be both rare and special, so Pan’s Labyrinth then.

Caomhan84

She would absolutely positively adore DS9, but she just can't watch it on the channel. It needs to be seen (mostly) in order. I'm not a fan of "new" Trek too much but if she does give it a shot, there's 2 options IMO: either season 3 of Picard, which bookends TNG (But of course has characters and situations that benefit from seeing Voyager and DS9)...or season 1 of Strange New Worlds, which is fun and breezy and has cool TOS vibes. Seasons 1 and 2 of Picard, and all of Discovery are best avoided. But who knows, she might love them. We have misjudged her view of Star Trek before.

Anthony Carlson

If she watches a Trek Series, as much as I like her to see DS9 and Voyager, she may be better off seeing Picard. Although she should see season 3, it would be wise to her to watch 1 and 2 because events in those seasons are mentioned in 3.

Anthony Carlson

Imagine Andor and Picard this year? Might be tricky though…

Big Lazy Dragon

You should definitely finish watching the Bond series.

Clay F

Richard, good suggestions. We generally think alike on these points.

Clay F

Your 2026 PiB Watch goals are thoughtful and awesome. Good choices. I rank below based on my preference/excitement from most excited to least excited. 1. Andor [most excited] 2. Rewatch Nolan Batman trilogy 3. A great war movie, e.g., The Thin Red Line (1998), Empire of the Sun (1987), etc. 4. Scariest movie you've never seen (that will not give you nightmares that stick). 5. Romance/romcom, e.g., VCB, Kate & Leopold, Sideways, Adventureland, etc. 6. Foreign movie. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009), Past Lives (2023). 7. Watch movie actively avoiding. The Deer Hunter (1978) (VIETNAM) (background) (AFI Top 100) (nom 9 Oscars, won 5) = Won Best Picture Oscar, Walken won Oscar, De Niro (a good guy) nom Best Actor Oscar, Meryl Streep nom for Oscar. 8. Popcorn Pick of the month getting 100k+ views. Children of Men (2006). 9. Comedy. 10. Trek series. I love DS9 and Voyager, and like SNW. Would welcome reactions to TNG select unseen episodes. Yet, there are iconic non-Trek series would give great reactions like we getting w/GoT. 11. I love Dirty Harry (1971). Skip the sequels. Watch Escape from Alcatraz. 12. Charlie Chaplin Movie. City Lights. I would be excited. 13. Monster Movie Marathon. Liking these movies better than expected but don’t know about a marathon. Yet, would be happy for my fellow patrons who want this. 14. Finish a series. So many bad sequels. 15. Go back and watch ALL JAMES BONDS. [least excited]. But may like some.

Tyler Dilley

I’d like to see you react to 8 Seconds and Captain Phillips if you haven’t seen them

Mike Redford

More Bond flicks and a buddy cop week. That speaks to my soul. Dirty harry is an interesting rabbit hole. Plenty of eastwood snarls and shootouts. A very cool TO DO list. Hope you knock em all out

Cole Jennett

It won’t be far away. She’s just playing a little catchup. But I guess she decided to do the better superhero movie first😉

Nolofinwe

Make the war movie. “ GUNGA DIN “. I swear you will love it - if you don’t believe me, you can read the short poem by Rudyard Kipling and maybe you’ll get it

Clay F

She has seen Captain Phillips.

Nolofinwe

If you want a monster movie go to the '50s and watch “THE BLOB “ It’s Steve McQueen’s first movie it’s thr '50s so it’s campy but it’s fun

My_Cousin_Mose

It could be done in 6 movie length reaction slots (6 episodes per slot except 2 slots would be 7 episodes). I'd call that short still but I know there are very few reaction slots.

Nick Hewett

I hope we get some more Hitchcock films, still a few good ones left like Notorious (1946) and Strangers on a Train (1951).

Richard Maurer

Bill with the great last name - Happy New Year to you too!

Richard Maurer

Way shorter than some of the other series I’ve seen being proposed anyway.

Clay A

A great war movie: The Longest Day... you'll love this because you loved Patton!

bgb1975 (Brian)

Sweet! Midnight Run! You'll love it, Cassie! And after that, **pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease** watch "A Perfect World". You would love that one, too.

Chris Thom

Crazy how many huge film careers started in horror. Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street for one. And George Clooney.

Chris Thom

Was just thinking about Sideways the other day. That would be fun. One of my subscribed channels on YTube just traveled to that little town with the windmill last week.

Chris Thom

I remember The Sweetest Thing mostly because we watched it with my grandma in the living room, and she straight up walked out of it and announced it was wasn't for her. Lol. Some of it was a bit raunchy. But it did walk so Bridesmaids could run.

Gro Do

Revisit of Star Trek TNG with the episodes that came in 2nd place in the polls

Clay F

PIB will become 2 weekly reaction slots for movies and 1 weekly reaction slot for TV series on an ongoing basis without interruption. Just a fact of life. She likes reacting to TV series. Also, TV series are good for channel. Cassie has reacted to more AFI Top 100 movies than most reactors. I love AFI Top 100 movies, but the YT views on a reaction to an AFI Top 100 movie commonly barely pays for editing costs. Plus, a channel focusing on AFI Top 100 movies or pre-1970 movies loses more paying patrons than it gains. Hold Down A is going through the entire AFI Top 100 list.

Roy Batty

Twin Peaks (1990) For a new series idea.

2-Can

Bruno Ganz played Hitler in Downfall. Bruno Kirby was just seen in City Slickers (although the thought of Bruno Kirby voicing Hitler is kind of funny).

Clay F

The McLintock thumbnail may turn her off. She is not big on John Wayne. She mocked him in The Searchers, and didn't really like The Quiet Man. She has already indicated that she wants her next John Wayne (if there is a next John Wayne) to be a western with Jimmy Stewart. She likes Jimmy Stewart and hoping that may make watching a movie with John Wayne more tolerable. Keep in mind that it not surprising that a female her age is not into the John Wayne style/demeanor.

Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon----What a treat! I wonder how Cassie will react.

Byrd N. Hand

YESSSS, finally finishing the Bond series! Both Addie Counts and CineBinge have recently usurped you in pursuit of becoming just the second major reactor to watch the entire series for their channel after Jen Murray. 🤨 For my money, "The Deer Hunter" and "The Big Red '1'" are the best war movies you've yet to see. If you just watch "Godfather III," "2010," and "Gremlins 2," you'll have knocked out all of those franchises. Also, if you add "Matrix Revolutions," "Terminator 3," "Prometheus," and both "Red Dragon" and "Hannibal," you'll be finished with those as well, in my book. 😏 Another Coen Brothers film, "Raising Arizona" (my personal favorite of theirs) should fit your comedy bill. I know some will object, but, really, the Harry Callahan sequels are no worse than quite a few other sequels you've already done for the channel, as far as I'm concerned. 🤷‍♂️ Movie you've seemingly been avoiding has to be the '78 version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," which I swear you promised to watch a couple of years ago. 🤔

Clay F

Yeah -- I suggest voting for 4 unseen episodes from each of seasons 3-6 and 2 unseen episodes from season 7. That would only be 18 episodes but would flesh out her feel, context, understanding of TNG.

Kristin

I would love this too. However, because it's so long, and she'd have to watch the whole thing, I don't know if she'd do that. It's a good show for her and I think her channel would benefit from it.

Byrd N. Hand

Granted, in the words of George Lucas himself, Star Wars is primarily targeted at 12-year-old boys; anyone else drawn to it is simply a bonus (but that's OK; Disney didn't get that memo, either 😔). Dune has the market cornered on more mature 'science fantasy.'

Byrd N. Hand

"...which are inferior to the original Dirty Harry." So are all the Jurassic Park/World movies, but she's still watched them up through the fifth one (exactly how many Harry Callahan movies there are). I'm all for "Escape from Alcatraz" as well, but don't deny the allure of Harry. "The Beguiled" is another Siegel/Eastwood collaboration that doesn't get enough love.

Byrd N. Hand

Indeed, it was more like a Dune/Blade Runner hybrid with a Star Wars skin stretched over it. Doesn't matter; anything Disney puts out is just glorified fan fiction anyway, since they don't fundamentally understand George Lucas' vision of this galaxy far, far away that he created (or, perhaps even worse, they never actually cared).

Byrd N. Hand

Technically, Jon Savage was the third recruit in "The Deer Hunter;" Cazale was just a hometown friend of theirs.

Clay F

There are four Dirty Harry sequels. My suggestion is not to model what was done with the Jurassic Park/World movies. Instead, after reacting to the original Dirty Harry (1971), require that the first sequel win a poll before getting a reaction. If she is taken with the original Dirty Harry (she does find Eastwood attractive at that age), she could make the executive decision to react to the first sequel (no poll), especially if she thinks good for the channel. On the other hand, if the original Dirty Harry (1971) doesn't do much for her, I think the franchise would be over, i.e., she would not make the executive decision to react to the first sequel, and unlikely the first sequel would win a poll (even if included in a poll).

Cole Jennett

Personally for me, there are 25 MCU movies better than the best Snider movie, and fantastic Four is one of them. But to each their own, I was mainly just teasing.

Shawn Kildal

Very much disagree with that way of thinking. She continued with all of the Planet of the Apes without having to do polls.

Clay F

You mention Prometheus but what about Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Alien vs. Predator, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, Alien: Covenant, and Alien: Romulus? Also, you mentioned "Red Dragon" and "Hannibal," but what about Hannibal Rising and Manhunter? Are there any Bond movies you suggest they skip, or are there no bad (or no mediocre) Bond movies?

Clay F

She did a poll of X-Men franchise vs Planet of the Apes franchise -- and decided to do both franchises because results so close. No polls for individual movies needed. About 20 movies total she reacted to. She skipped two movies in each franchise. In contrast, if she decides to react to Dirty Harry (1971), she is deciding to react to a single movie, not a franchise. The Dirty Harry sequels are not horrible, so I would not object if she decides to react to the entire Dirty Harry franchise (5 movies) w/no poll. But my guess is after reacting to Dirty Harry (1971), she won't want to continue.

Clay F

SW Series. She reacted to Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Book of Boba Fett. IMDb 8.6, RT 96%, RT Audience 89% = Andor IMDb 8.6, RT 90%, RT Audience 78% = The Mandalorian IMDb 7.4, RT 85%, RT Audience 64% = Ahsoka IMDb 7.0, RT 82%, RT Audience 61% = Obi-Wan Kenobi IMDb 7.1, RT 66%, RT Audience 48% = The Book of Boba Fett IMDb 4.3, RT 79%, RT Audience 19% = The Acolyte

Clay F

Correction -- she only skipped 1 movie in the apes franchise but should have skipped 2.

Just Plain Bob

Also, Kevin Bacon and Brad Pitt. And Tom Hanks and Paul Rudd. Matthew McConaughey and Renée Zellweger and Jennifer Aniston.

Jozy Marshall

I cannot believe we might get Cassie Andor reactions. Incredible. Just the hint of it is a highlight of 2026 thus far.

TinCan Cosmanaut

I like MCU better than snyder in general also. To me JL is snyders one hit wonder (and 300). Maybe I'm wrong but F4 isn't in the top 5 MCU films.

Bags Clo

Mcfarland USA has to be on your list

Philip Alan

these are "expectation spoilers" by the way! I know, I know. But no one told us what to expect when we started. You know? I'm just sayinggggg. Later! :)

Clarence Newman

I am betting ten bucks against any chance that Cassie will ever watch Cannonball Run that you two don't pronounce your last name the same.

Mike Redford

For a not seen rom/com (Really more of a romDrama-dy lol), there's "Cocktail" with Tom Cruise and Elisabeth Shue (Adventures in babysitting/karate kid/back to the future part 2) , which I've always liked. Figure it's worth a look

Ted Whalen

Bill- that is a great list of Foreign films! I would add Sophie Scholl- The Final Days. Sophie was one of Germany’s most famous anti-Nazi activists.

Clarence Newman

My updated blah-de-blah on Cassie's wishlist: Go back and watch all James Bonds? That's a good idea. There's a lot of fun to be had in the overlooked Bonds. Andor Season 1 & 2 - Meh, Bleh and I don't care. Not my thing. I would prefer Picard. Never seen before romance/rom-com: For the rom-com, I suggest The Money Pit (a young Tom Hanks with Shelley Long, 1986). For romance that is not necessarily a com, Cocktail (1987) with Thomas Cruise Control. Great war movie: The Dirty Dozen (1967) - Star-studded movie where Lee Marvin has to train 12 convicts for a deadly mission behind enemy lines. If it helps, Patrick Stewart's one of the convicts. Great foreign movie - Police Story (1985) - Jackie Chan at his best. Either that or Bjorn's flagship movie Show Me Love (1998). Rewatch Nolan's Batmans: Bleh. Too much bat. Charlie Chaplin movie - The Kid (1921). You love kids and you'll love the kid in The Kid. I'm not kidding. Watch a film you're actively avoiding - Got to be "A Perfect World" with Costner! It's not what you think and you will LOVE it! Monster Movie Marathon - I will leave that to Richard, Bob, Rene and the rest of the night-dwellers. Have a Popcorn Pick of the Month go over 100k: COOL HAND LUKE!!! TOWERING INFERNO!!! Some might say that those two films won't quite make 100k, but if you watch them as a double feature, it's a slam dunk. See what I did there? Not just a hat rack, my friend. A comedy you love as much as The Replacements: Every Which Way But Loose (1978) - Clint Eastwood co-stars with a bona fide member of the Orang Utan Hall of Fame. You will love Clyde as much as you loved Norman from City Slickers. Finish a series - The Pink Panthers. I know you didn't love the first one, but you did like Inspector Clouseau and all the rest of the Panthers are based on him. Definitely one of the most hilarious characters in the history of cinema. If you do decide to watch them, make Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978) the last one. Dirty Harry? - Remove the question mark and make everybody's day. New Trek series: PICARD!!! Who doesn't love a healthy dose of closure? Fair warning, though. By this time, Patrick Stewart has become old and bald. The new scariest movie you've ever seen: Horror of Dracula (1958) might be the *best* one you haven't seen, but probably not the scariest. Again, I will leave this one to those patrons whose reflection does not appear in a mirror. EDIT: I forgot about Creepshow (1982, thanks Rene), a fun collection of horror skits from Stephen King. You could do a lot worse in the horror genre. Finally....Cannonball Run. Because you are clearly running out of reasons not to.

Clarence Newman

Good shout, Mike. Definitely not a rom-com, but I'm sure Cassie would like it.

Clarence Newman

Godfather 3 is much-maligned and underrated. Pacino is colossal in that movie. I would've balked at Red Dragon and Hannibal a year ago, but Cassie has moved on since then. Pretty gruesome stuff, but Hopkins is superb in both. The Dirty Harry sequels? They're not as good, but Cassie has a habit of locking in with great characters and enjoying whatever the journey brings. I think Clint as Harry Callahan would qualify.

Clarence Newman

I hate to say this, but Cassie strongly suggested in a recent live that she'd be watching Croc Dundee 3 for Australia Day. Let the record show that I did NOT recommend that one!

Clarence Newman

That's it, end the war movie debate. Deer Hunter is good, but Bob has nailed the assignment with Heartbreak Ridge and The Dirty Dozen.

Clarence Newman

+1 for Vicky Cristina Barcelona. SUCH a Cassie movie!

Clarence Newman

Great words Mark used in this post: Cocktail Dirty Dozen Kelly's Heroes Clash of the Titans Hannibal Red Dragon Dirty Harry Star Trek Escape From Alcatraz.

Chris Thom

Dang, 1500 plus comments on the 2001 reaction after just nine hours. That's some solid engagement. Glad you decided to edit it and put it on YouTube. Definitely a landmark film for a lot of people, and they seem happy to talk about it. For this year I'm hoping you will watch and enjoy something a bit quirkier that defies simple categories. Not sure what that should be exactly. Looking forward to the Snyder Cut of Justice League. Curious what you will think. Happy winter!

Chris Thom

Think I could do without the Nolan trilogy as well. Not sure why, but don't feel that excited to revisit that. Batman Forever might be fun, just for the different take on it that she hasn't seen yet. Cool Hand Luke feels inevitable this year. Though I thought that last year, too. So who knows.

Mike Lemon

In the interest of not stagnating, how about this as a possible alternative to the 2026 Goals- >Bond Instead of the 15-ish Bonds left, we get 1 or 2 of the spoofs or different takes. ex. Johnny English (2003) >Andor Instead of the 12 "watch slots" for more Star Wars, which already has 30-ish on the channel, how about some short series (10-ish hours or less- not Shogun 2024) or mini-series. >romance, war, foreign, avoiding, Chaplin, comedy They are one and done, so who really cares. >Nolan Instead of rewatching, how about dipping your toes into some of the great animation that has been ignored. >Monster That one is okay as long as the "marathon" isn't 'watch all of Universal' or 'all Godzilla'. >finish Instead of finishing bad movies just because the first movie was good, just watch some other good movies. >Dirty Harry One a year? >Trek The next series have about 100 'watch slots" each. Please add a fourth day if you are going to do that. It is just too much.

Chris Thom

Tequila Sunrise might be interesting. Don't remember much about it, but the cast looks great and I remember my parents loving it growing up.

Chris Thom

Blanking on names right now, but the kids from Halloween H20. Michelle something from Dawson's Creek, and the guy from Penny Dreadful. Fantastic actors. Plus Spielberg, kind of.

Chris Thom

I should finally see Ringu. Been wanting to for a long time. Think I saw both Grudge versions.

Chris Thom

Trying to remember if Kramer vs. Kramer counts as a dark rom com. Probably not.

Richard Maurer

Clarence - Maurer rhymes with Power.

Chris Thom

Badd Medicine channel got seriously pissed about Spirited Away. They didn't get it at all.

Chris Thom

You must be seriously wealthy. Congrats. You have a favorite vacation destination?

Clarence Newman

I know yours, Richard. I find it hard to believe Bill's is pronounced the same. On the recent live, even Cassie pronounced it More-er.

Chris Thom

Insidious movies might be fun for her. I think Exorcist is still on her nope list at the moment. Hereditary too. But maybe she's ready for a change...?

Chris Thom

Any idea what she watched with Kat recently?

Chris Thom

Was Spinal Tap the first mockumentary?

Chris Thom

I got very hooked on Stranger Things this season.

Chris Thom

YES to TCM remake. So good.

Chris Thom

I love horror, but I legit can't watch that. Could barely watch her Cliffhanger reaction just for the opening.

Chris Thom

Gets requested a TON on YouTube PIB.

Chris Thom

That's one of probably three RW movies I have left to see. That and the Russian immigrant one. And one other I think.

Macabre Movie Maniac

I dont get why The Exorcist a permanent no. By today's standards it's not that scary. Cassie has watched scarier movies on this channel.

Richard Maurer

Mike - I’ve been advocating for Andor, mostly on the premise that Cassie WILL be watching some series, might as well be a good one this time. I agree about not wanting Bond (except Golden Gun), Trek, a Nolan Batman rewatch, or finishing series with bad sequels. Monsters- agree that she doesn’t need to watch all of the Universal monster movies or even Godzilla - she can skip most of the 1950’s through 70’s (Showa era) Godzilla films and I’d be fine with it - completionism is not a good thing to me, just watch the best ones.

Rene G.

dunno but she mentions it on her pick a flick stream of december saying it's a long and has a very famouse line.

Rene G.

October 2026 Halloween reactions: Pet Sematary 1989 esp the 2nd one, Friday the 13th, Hell raiser trilogy, all chucky movies, Sleepwalkers, Body Snatchers 1994, Village of the damned with Carpenter

Rene G.

Monster movie: Here's mine: Mothra (since she gets triggered by them in her room lol), Anaconda with J-LO, Snakes on a Plane, Troll Hunter, Troll from Netflix, Creepshow, Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight.

Richard Maurer

Clarence: Bond - disagree Andor - strongly disagree Rom-com - don’t care War movie - fine by me. Foreign movie - fine by me Nolan Batman rewatch - I don’t like rewatches (in general - never say never, as Gremlins proved). Chaplin - fine by me / don’t really care. Avoided film - fine by me. Monster Marathon - STRONGLY agree. PPotM to go over 100k - sorry, but you’re ignoring the “go over 100k” part. Those two films are not going over 100k, at least not any time soon. Comedy she’ll love as much as Big Lebowski - you’re kidding, right? Finish a series - if she must then Pink Panther wouldn’t be a bad way to go. Dirty Harry - agree. Trek - disagree. Scariest movie - thanks for the Horror of Dracula advocacy, but definitely not the scariest. Definitely one the best though. Cannonball Run - dreaming again. But for your sake I hope your dream comes true. But for everyone else’s sake…..

K, Zachary

Actually Chris were not I love off disability she is PICU nurse practitioner that works a lot. The California trip we paid for and were still paying for. The trip to the Dominican Republic was paid for by my Dad who wanted to spend Thanksgiving with us. The Ski trip that were now on. My cousin works ski patrol so he gets deals on lift tickets. Almost everything is covered because it's my gf's birthday today and her friends are covering it one of them lives out here in Orem I believe. What we have learned is to pay it forward. We have a very strong 🙏. We have learned that showing kindness, respect and compassion to people and loving your neighbor. Will get you far in life. I will give you an example, us taking care of my mom when she needed us the most. When I was here 11 years ago. We tipped everyone so we well and treated them with respect. That they actually hugged us when we left. Kindness, caring about others and loving thy neighbor (as long it's done in moderation) you will be rewarded.

Richard Maurer

Batman Forever - No one but you wants that. Maybe a few other looney’s.

K, Zachary

To answer your question r we love being around people who love us. So California, the Caribbean and of course Canada.

Nphvirgo

Harrison Ford movie Regarding Henry. And Star Trek Deep Space 9

Richard Maurer

I watched Cinebinge and Addie’s ‘Man With the Golden Gun’ reactions - that’s all that I needed.

Richard Maurer

FF:FS and Thunderbolts are both top-tier superhero movies. IMO

Clarence Newman

Rene. I'm plucking Creepshow from your list and putting it up in the main post. Great little film.

MikeLL

I was thinking of The Longest Day also. She certainly would recognize a few faces in that one. :) Also The Dirty Dozen and Kelly's Heroes.

MikeLL

Yes! We need another Hitchcock poll.

Richard Maurer

Clarence- for Monster movie marathon? Why watch movies that made a joke out of the Universal monsters, those movie were just Universal trying wring every last dollar out of their monster properties after they’d already exhausted them.

Clarence Newman

Richard. It was Chris who mentioned Batman Forever first. Support for it then doubled within this very thread before you tackled us for a loss. I still think Cassie would like it. And for the PPoTM, she will need to watch both to guarantee 100k. This sounds reasonable to me.

Milton Reduxed

If PiB features any nu-Trek then I'm done. A line has to be drawn

Chris Thom

Hellraiser is a quintessential Cassie franchise for sure. lol

MikeLL

Hitchcock Poll. John Wayne Poll. And I'll say just go ahead and watch Charade instead of a Cary Grant Poll. I have feeling that we will have Charade before The Philadelphia Story. I want to see Burt Lancaster on the channel. (I know we had Field of Dreams. I mean a movie with Burt as the star.) I want to see James Cagney on the channel. (I had Yankee Doodle Dandy as my Flick Pick before I changed it to The Philadelphia Story. I have since changed it again.) Can you tell I'm a fan of Classic Era movies? Might as well have a Classic Era movie poll. How about all the unseen movies from the Classic Chaos Bracket? Those films that would be in that poll are: Dr. Strangelove Or: How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) The Maltese Falcon (1941) True Grit (1969) Cool Hand Luke (1967) Dial M for Murder (1954) Gone With The Wind (1939) Doctor Zhivago (1965) Double Indemnity (1944) The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1968) The Thin Man (1934) Funny Girl (1968) Or better yet have another bracket, but instead of the mistaken advice I once gave her about just taking the most requested Classic Era movies and putting them randomly in a bracket, go ahead and have a separate 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's sections so she could watch the top four, one film from each decade.

John A

You're not wrong. Marvel is just retread after retread, same plot time after time, boring wimpy shit for children. At least Snyder's capeshit didn't feel like I'm supposed to be 13 to watch it

Richard Maurer

That’s just another person mispronouncing it, nothing I haven’t heard before. But I did a little google search to see if anyone one in the US pronounces it differently. Apparently they pronounce it Moy jer in NYC, because they can’t pronounce anything correctly there.

John A

As usual, there's a reason almost no one ever agrees with you

Richard Maurer

Shin Godzilla will (probably) get her 100k. At least I’m being honest and admitting nothing’s certain in the current state of reaction videos on YouTube. And Chris is one of the other loonies I was talking about. ;-)

Milton Reduxed

I propose implementing the Milton Method of Scheduling for 2026 Slot #1—Weekly Poll winner Slot #2—Popcorn Requests Top Voted Slot #3—Cassie's Pick

Chris Thom

Damn, thought you might let that one slide. lol

Rene G.

2026 Foreign films: REC, Let the RIght One In, One missed call from Japan, Frontier(s) from France, High Tension, Inside 2007, Martyrs from France 2008.

Richard Maurer

lol, like Snyder’s DCEU films were all so original and different from each other. And you keep posting about how the MCU films were all the same. Did you even watch any of them? Because if you actually saw, let’s say Captain America; Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy for instance, and are claiming they’re the same, you clearly weren’t paying attention.

Richard Maurer

I’m wondering if they’re going to switch to pulling films from the new website’s version of Popcorn Requests in the future. Because if they do it’s going to be a very different top 100 from the current Popcorn Requests.

Mark White

Thanks mate, I would have asked for Cannonball Run as well, but I thought that might be pushing it! 😆

Chris Thom

High Tension really got my heart racing. Kind of rare for a movie to do that nowadays. Having a hard time imagining it on this channel, but it would be interesting for sure.

Mark White

+1 for all of these, especially Dirty Dozen

Mark White

WHAT! NOooooooooo!! No Croc 3!

Clarence Newman

The line must be drawn HEEYUH! This far and no farther!

Mark White

Cassie, it has been suggested you may have said something about watching Crocodile Dundee 3 for Australia Day. As you may remember I’m a massive fan of you watching 1 and 2. But PLEASE no Croc 3!! 1. There are so many other Aussie movies that are far more deserving. 2. The way you left our wonderful Mick and Sue, is how you should remember them. Perfect ending. 3. Croc 3 was a cash grab and suffered imo for it.

Clarence Newman

I beg to differ, Richard. Abbott & Costello horrors are a serious look at how normal people like me deal with scary monsters.

Ted Whalen

Cassie- this may not be the best place to post this, but it is really sad to hear about the shooting outside of the Mormon church in Salt Lake City.

Clarence Newman

It needs to be pushed, Mark. It's a rickety old bus.

Rene G.

she can handle it.. C'mon the effects of Hellraiser is so similar to the THing.. She can handle gore anyway. Mwahahah

Mark White

I’m afraid I do want more Bonds. But I would be ok with missing them, as long as we have 3 Man with the golden Gun (Lee is awesome) Moonraker (it’s bonkers and Jaws is in it!) View to a kill (despite Moore being ancient! It’s worth it for Christopher Walken, he is great)

Clarence Newman

I have a great idea on how to celebrate the first year of Pick-a-Flick. How's about gathering together all the films I've picked over that year and make a poll? The Champ (1979) Papillon (1973) World's Fastest Indian (2003) Cannonball Run (1981) Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels (1998) Cool Hand Luke (1967) Bullitt (1968) Best idea ever or WHAT??

Rene G.

Here's my Aussie movies for her to see: Wolf Creek 1-2, and The Loved ONes..

Mark White

Can’t believe I forgot Clyde!! +1 million for “Every which way but loose” And “Any which way you Can”, they are a must together. It’s a Cassie ending for sure.

Clarence Newman

Walkabout (1971) with the appallingly photogenic Jenny Agutter (she of American Werewolf In London).

Mark White

Another “Mick” Cassie would enjoy! 😉😱😱😂

Mark White

I know you are joking Clarence, but I want a reaction to a lot of those and I still need to watch a couple more myself. So Yes please!

Robert Jewell

Oh, I see. I didn't know she (she has a name you know) had an interpreter. By the way, I just watched Cassies reaction to The Searchers and it was top notch.

Clarence Newman

Fun fact: Wally from Croc Dundee is in Walkabout.

Mark White

Yep, who wants to watch Batman Forever, especially when you have the far superior and magical “Batman and Robin” 😂

Clarence Newman

I am in dire need of your opinion on The Champ, Mark. At this point, I believe I'm the only living person who's seen it.

Chris Thom

Woah had no idea there was a third one.

Larry Darrell

Does the new website work on all platforms now?? When it was first mentioned, it was said that the new site was only for Windows users, so I never tried. Is this still a thing??

Chris Thom

This poll is a giant leap forward for self-advocacy. Respect.

Chris Thom

Trying to picture her watching those and I just can't. lol

Above Average Dave

Game theory play: Look at the other folks pick-a-flick and pick the same one you want the most. There more folks pick the same movie, the higher the odds it is selected.

Just Plain Bob

Take the turd (#4) out of the punch bowl and I’ll take a sip. Well, that’s way grosser in print than it was in my head, but you get the point.

Just Plain Bob

Clarence, Jenny Agutter and I were madly in love in the mid-80s. Then someone (I suspect the cashier at the video rental store) told her about it and ruined our whole relationship.

Clarence Newman

Dave. There are always other films on PaF that I can root for because they're on my wishlist too, but they never win either. On this recent one, I had 3 faves in the Top 20 and 2 in the Top 5. Scuppered, I was. And Bob. How can you disparage my festering floater when #3 was a PaF collaboration between our very selves.

Richard Maurer

I believe my Pick-a-Flick list would make a better poll: Horror of Dracula The Final Programme Only the two highest vote getters will be watched.

Clarence Newman

I would've been, Bob, but the queue was too long.

Richard Maurer

More disinformation John A. Lots of people agree with me, hell, even you agree with me now and then. And people not agreeing with me doesn’t make me wrong.

Nolofinwe

Foreign films in general stink . The odd ones are very good but there's a reason why Hollywood used to dominate the industry... sadly not anymore . Pretensions of the heart House for the film would not be well served on this platform except for a few as I said earlier.

Richard Maurer

The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash, a Beatles parody mockumentary by Eric Idle, came out in 1978.

Richard Maurer

Just like most of the actors in that film.

John A

I wish she could watch my most guilty pleasure, Halloween 6, but then she'd have to get through 2, 4, and 5 and that's not happening

Richard Maurer

Gotta say, the AFI list is not the be all, end all, of great movies. Mostly just mainstream critics idea of what are great movies, which I don’t care about any more or less than anyone else’s opinion.

John A

Please god no Alien 3 or Resurrection

John A

If you need to lie to yourself to cope with life, you go right ahead little guy

Joe J

Will the new app allow ranking beyond Top 100? Just having 100 ranked is very limiting for poll choices.

Richard Maurer

Well, that’s an opinion all right.

Byrd N. Hand

Clay -- I've never cared about Alien 3 & 4, particularly because of the handling of the 3 other surviving "Aliens" characters at the beginning of the former. "Covenant" could've been worthwhile if it had actually remained genuinely committed to Shaw's story arc instead of devolving into more dumbed-down humans vs. xenomorphs conflicts. As it is I view "Prometheus" more as an in-universe spinoff than a proper "Alien" prequel. I've since checked out of the franchise, so I don't care one way or the other about "Romulus." I consider "Manhunter" a separate entity from the Anthony Hopkins Hannibal Lecter movies... and the less said about "Hannibal Rising," the better. The thing about the Bond movies is that people have a wide variety of opinions about each outing; Richard evidently really likes "The Man with the Golden Gun," whereas I think it's the second weakest movie in the series, so you kinda have to watch them all to see where your opinion lies on each one. *All* movie series that exceed 6 movies are generally hit-and-miss, so it kind of comes with the territory.

Richard Maurer

Every accusation a admission. By the way just gave your comment about not doing reactions to Alien 3 and Resurrection a like. Have a nice day!

Mark White

Kaiielle, I feel we should add, if Cassie cannot watch Interstellar this year, “Sunshine” will be a more than acceptable! 😉

Mark White

I’ll do my best Clarence

Christian Becker

Horror of Dracula. I was terrified of Christopher Lee for years as a child after watching it, and I didn’t dare to go down to the cellar for quite some time. Maybe it helps to know that the house I live in was built in the 16th century, and the cellar is old — really, really old and creepy, with dark recesses and corners. But today, whenever I watch it, it has become one of my “fall-asleep movies”. I simply can’t unsee the giant plot hole in the movie.

Joe J

I would be happy with Andor and Dirty Harry. Cassie and Carly have both seen the Nolan Batman films, so there is no valid argument to re-watch those IMO. If we get more sci-fi and action/thriller films, I'll be more happy, lol.

Seymor Butz

2026 scary movie......perhaps we will get Dr Sleep this year. Also for a good laugh...nkn reaction. You should watch A Bad Lip Reading for game of thrones. It only covers season 1 so no spoilers but a good lite hearted chuckle from the show....and short.

Clarence Newman

Richard. I forgot to mention the most important rule on this kind of poll. The individual who chooses the films is disqualified from voting - except on mine cos it was my idea.

John A

I don't like the movies at all but a reaction to the bat nipples, the bat butts, and the rest of the absurdities might be funny. After all, we're here for reactions not to have her validate our tastes by liking the movies she watches

Steve Holton

Looking forward to a great PIB (Police In Bromance) theme week. No one is too old for this… buddy banter bash! Like the watch goals. James Bond sings in his first film. He also tries many winter sports at the same Olympic site at the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, Italy in “For Your Eyes Only”. Granted, there is far less sportsmanship with fellow participants. To answer your question about Dirty Harry. I didn’t think the film should be rated “R” for language, probably more for Sally’s "faking it" scene in the diner. Which few people would actually do in public right? Only if you’re in a movie or with a big group of friends. Glad they end up together though. Harry later gets a job as a San Francisco cop, and it becomes a magnum opus😊

John A

Hope it's the Exorcist. She can handle it regardless of what her hold up is about it, but people keep letting her think she can't. I'll never understand why some of these people baby her so much

John A

I wonder what would win that poll. I'd guess lock stock

Milton Reduxed

For me Star Trek peaked in 1966. But any series after 2009 is totally out of bounds

John A

I hope she isn't steering clear of Dr Sleep thinking it's gonna be as scary as The Shining

John A

That's interesting, I never knew a website to only work on one or the other. Curious how that can even be

Byrd N. Hand

Shelley LONG (not Duvall) was in "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks, BTW.

Richard Maurer

Clarence - You don’t get to make the rules on my poll that’s never going to happen anyway.

Richard Maurer

Christian - There isn’t a major plot hole in Horror of Dracula. I even googled it as I didn’t know what you were talking about and other than some minor stuff I didn’t find anything.

Just Plain Bob

Seems about right. It was around that time that the various thoughtful, contemplative ST series were replaced with the various “production values” series (don’t worry about plot, look at the pretty, pretty lights!). I’ve dropped in a few times on newer series and been astounded at how they get even some of the most basic lore from the OS wrong (Vulcans making goo goo eyes at each other in public?). I suspect most of the new writers have never even seen the OS, Next Generation or DS9.

Alexis Vorian

Foreign films must watch: Cinema Paradiso (1988) Italy Life is beautiful (1997) Italy The Secret in their Eyes (2009) Argentina All three Academy Award Winners.

kaiielle

Oh for SURE, Mark! Sunshine is my PaF until it's reacted to! Not sure what I'll pick after that, though. 🤔

Joe J

Just my two cents, but I think two of the sequels are quite good and worth a Cassie watch. Magnum Force - watch The Enforcer - skip Sudden Impact - watch The Dead Poll - skip

Byrd N. Hand

Granted, Kevin Bacon did "Animal House" before "Friday the 13th."

Catherine LW

Great film! Sophie Scholl should be remembered.

Catherine LW

I wondered if you and Bill were related!

Joe J

My Poll suggestion was inclusive of others, lol.

Just Plain Bob

I LOVE Phantasm. A wonderful, wonderful movie that demonstrates how great a film on an indie budget can be. And Nightmare on Elm Street owes it a debt of gratitude.

Richard Maurer

Not as far I know Catherine, but I sometimes refer to Bill as my long lost cousin.

Brett Richey

You're right. Why can't every film be Gone with the Wind?

Brett Richey

Crocodile Dundee 3 is one of the worst films ever made. I love the first two btw.

Brett Richey

Martyrs! Christ, Rene. I know you love horror, but come on. Let the Right One In is superb and left me thinking about it for days. Martyrs did too... but that film is not for amateurs.

bgb1975 (Brian)

As far as Cagney movies go, my vote would be for "Mr. Roberts" and "Angels With Dirty Faces". She would also get a bonus of Humphrey Bogart with the latter!

bgb1975 (Brian)

Replace Papillon with A Perfect World and you've got a deal. Can't say I was much of a fan of Papillon.

Brett Richey

I'm not for the rest of the Bond films tbh. I think you've done enough with those. For foreign films I'd recommend: The Lives of Others (2006) The Hunt (2012) The Kid with a Bike (2010) Au revoir les enfants (1987) Shoplifters (2018)

Larry Darrell

If it’s a website, you can go to it on any platform, but if it’s designed for only one OS or not yet made adaptable for every OS, then it’s functionality will be little to nil. Like Apps that are designed for Android (Linux) won’t work on Apple until they’ve been made to do so.

Shehab Dawoud

Alright, I'll weigh in as well. Bond? Meh. I generally don't like long franchises that take up a lot of space. Andor: I hate SW, so that's a no for me, dawg. Romance: Enough Said (2013) with Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and the late great James Gandolfini in one of his last roles. War film: The Deer Hunter (1978). The best one you haven't seen yet. Stanley Kubrick's Path of Glory (1957), an anti-war film with Kirk Douglas, Michael Douglas's father. Foreign film: Rashomon (1950) by Akira Kurosawa, who also did Seven Samurai. One of the greatest and most influential films ever. The other is The Hunt (2012). A Danish film with Mads Mikkelsen giving probably his best performance. Nolan Batman: I'm not the biggest Nolan fan and I have many issues with the trilogy. Batman Begins is my favorite. I think it's awesome. So it wouldn't bother me that much, although I don't like rewatches: Chaplin: City Lights (1931). Movie you've been avoiding? Other than the usual horror suspects, I don't know what that is. Eyes Wide Shut? Bad Santa? Monsters: 2005 King Kong, but otherwise, meh. 100K PPOM: It could be Midnight Run this month! Comedy: Comedy is subjective, so that's a difficult one. After seeing Chris Tucker in Rush Hour, I'm hoping we'll get Friday (1995) as well. One of my favorites. Or you could give Borat (2006) a shot. It is the funniest movie I've ever seen and probably by some distance. Finish a series: There’s only really one I actively want you to finish, The Godfather trilogy. Dirty Harry: Not a Clint fan, so hopefully not: Trek: Hell no. Scariest movie: Other than The Exorcist and Hereditary, which I doubt, I'd say: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), The Omen (1976), The Witch (2015), and Doctor Sleep Director's Cut (2019) are some of my favorites.

Brett Richey

I said The Hunt too. Amazing film. And absolutely behind her watching Enough Said, because it's quietly one of the greatest romantic-comedy films ever made.

Bill Maurer

Big YES on the Pink Panther and Cannonball Run !!!!!!

K, Zachary

Wolf Creek is a great movie one of the best but it might be way too scary for her. Now that we know it is based on true events. However I would love to see those movies watched. I might suggest those to Kat on Katwatcheshorror she would probably be a lot more likely to do them.

Kawaii Leonard

Are you my twin? Why do we have the same opinion on your 1st 4 points. ^_^ "Bond? Foreign film: Rashomon (1950) by Akira Kurosawa, who also did Seven Samurai. "

K, Zachary

Try Kat the one that partnered with Cassie on Weapons. She hasn't watched it yet but it's on her list. She's from Canada she's a lot of fun.

Shehab Dawoud

Great minds think alike and all that!

Clay F

If you haven't seen Andor, it's different than other SW content. I was never big on SW, but I like Andor. Great acting, writing, dialogue, etc. Not for kids.

Mark White

Totally agree Brett.

Richard Maurer

Joe - as of right now there's 557 films on the list, so yes, it goes beyond 100. you can also upvote other peoples movies now without using your own points which is great. The upvotes just don't count nearly as much as personal list votes, which is as it should be.

Clay F

That might be a good compromise if she decides to watch the sequels = watch 2 of the 4 sequels. I remember when Sudden Impact (1983) [IMDb 6.6, RT 52%, RT Audience 55%] was released (I was 20). The movie got a lot of attention. But she may decide to watch only the original and none of the sequels.

Clarence Newman

Papillon is epic. McQueen's best performance.

Clarence Newman

Brett. I'm one of the biggest Croc Dundee fans ever, and even I agree with you.

Jimmy Stewart

Is Justice League still coming? Also I’m a big Dirty Harry fan!

Clarence Newman

You're right, Byrd. Probably a good thing as Shelley Duvall would've given Cassie Shining flashbacks. I will amend my error.

Clay F

The valid argument is Cassie said she doesn't remember the Nolan Batman trilogy.

Clay F

Nolan Batman trilogy (she said she doesn’t remember) IMDb 8.2, RT 85%, RT Audience 94% – Batman Begins (2005) IMDb 9.0, RT 94%, RT Audience 94% – The Dark Knight (2008) IMDb 8.4, RT 87%, RT Audience 90% – The Dark Knight Rises (2012) For comparison: IMDb 3.8, RT 11%, RT Audience 16% – Batman & Robin (1997)

Harvey Lee

Omg , are we really going to be watching the Last Dragon ?🐉 I don't know if it's aged all that well, but Cassie makes just about anything worth my time !!!🤘♥️

Clay F

MY TOP 5 in order: 1. Andor -- yes, all the way. I love Andor. 2. Nolan Batman trilogy rewatch -- a definite yes. 3. War Movie -- please, yes. 4. Romance/rom-com. Great idea. Yes. Do a poll. 5. Foreign Movie -- I've wanted The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) for so long and its different than the 2011 adaptation you reacted to. MY BOTTOM 2 X. "Finish a series" = phrase of dread. Please, no. Why give trash sequels a reaction merely b/c of OCD completionism. Y. Go back and watch ALL JAMES BONDS. I would be happy for patrons who are Bond fans, but not my preference.

Clay F

Yeah -- I think Justice League is still coming.

Jimmy Stewart

You know who also uses the word Beholden, Katherine Hepburn in the Oscar winning Romcom , The Philadelphia Story, also starring Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant, seems like you have to watch it now.😁

John A

It hasn't. It might be entertaining for us to watch her trying to slog through it though

John A

Haven't even heard of Enough Said, but as soon as I saw the two actors you mentioned, I thought enough said

Cole Jennett

I don’t think F4 is a top 5 MCU movie but you are talking like 35+ movies. I’d say it’s top 15 probably. But when you have Infinity War, End Game, Cap 2 & 3, and The Avengers, it’s a pretty tough top 5 to crack

Daniel S.Silva

iF you are going to rewatch the Nolan Batman movies (which I support) why not do a Batman marathon starting with the 1966 and ending with the Lego Batman Movie... or if you want to go wild try and start with the Batman serials from the 40s.

D.M. Lipkin

She'd enjoy Batman: Under the Red Hood.

D.M. Lipkin

I love Trek, but I'm not sure a new Trek series would be a good move. Deep Space Nine is my favorite, but it's much more serialized than Next Gen, so Cassie couldn't pick and choose like she did. Instead, I'd suggest she give the Battlestar Galactica miniseries a try.

Palapula

highly recommend trying Lower Decks. Its definitely more comedy focused, but it does serious episodes so well. I probably should have also recommended The Orville, its got a similar comedy but doing serious episodes vibe while also being a star trek parody. I wonder if Cassie would be interesting in Stargate SG-1, its very similar the feel of TNG.

John A

Good idea, except she should cut out everything between 1966 batman and Lego Batman, the two best

Daniel S.Silva

"A great foreign movie" isn't Cassie Canadian though? Wouldnt that make every movie she has watched on the channel a foreign movie? Has she watched any Canadian films? Technically foreign movies dont exist as a genre since the concept of foreign only exists in relation to something else...

Byrd N. Hand

Never saw "Sing Street." It sort of looked like an inferior version of "Once" (even by the same director, I believe).

Byrd N. Hand

"Sudden Impact" has Harry's other famous line, so it's definitely a must. But again, if she'll watch 25 James Bond movies and 8 Mission: Impossible movies for the channel - all also of varying quality - surely she can also do the same for all 5 Harry Callahan movies? 🤷‍♂️

Byrd N. Hand

Yes, from what I understand, Bad Robot did to Star Trek exactly what Disney also did to Star Wars.

MikeLL

That is exactly what I thought when I read Cassie's post!

Byrd N. Hand

Yes, I'd much rather see something like "Walkabout," an early Peter Weir film ("Picnic at Hanging Rock," "The Last Wave," or "Gallipoli"), "The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith," "Starstruck," "A Cry in the Dark," "The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert," or "Muriel's Wedding" considered for this slot.

Chris Thom

Finally saw that a couple years ago. Definitely a weird one. Kept thinking I missed something in it, but I think it might just be bizarre without fully explaining itself.

Chris Thom

Think she's lived about half and half of her life in US and Canada at this point. Plus she has duel citizenship, so I think she's pretty much a local now.

Chris Thom

Forgot about Dr. Sleep. That was my first vote for this October I think.

Joe J

Remember PAF? It won so she has to watch it, lol.

Canadianant

Maybe we need a Canadian film poll? Strange Brew, Goon, Fubar, men with brooms bon cop , bad cop ? Terrance and Phillips Asses of fire?

Harvey Lee

You have to excuse my ignorance but what is PAF again ? I know i'm gonna go '' oh yes soon as you tell me !! lol!

Byrd N. Hand

Duvall's best remaining work probably lie in the films she did with Robert Altman -- particularly "Popeye" (she totally nailed Olive Oyl) and "3 Women."

Canadianant

As to the 2026 goals : bond could be alright although didnt she hit most of the big ones? Andor- a only watched the first couple seemed slow but I'll give it a shot if your watching it. Chaplin seems like you need to see one just too check it off the cinephile list sounds good . I love the replacements as well. Your reaction to it is one of the best on the channel. So yeah if we can find another great comedy. If by new trek you mean ds9, voyager or enterprise I'll go with it . I think Piccard season 3 is good but watching the first two seasons to get to the third one, I don't know. Batman rewatch ok it should do very well for the channel As long as we can get the Blues Brothers sometime this year I would be happy

Joe J

I don't support a Nolan re-watch, but the 1966 film would be a fun watch if she can accept it for what it is.

Joe J

Monthly random draw of submitted films from patrons at $10 and above.

Cole Jennett

The Grand Seduction is highest on my list. Not sure it’s a “Canadian Film” but takes place in the maritimes. Has Tim Riggins and Mad Eye Moody

Joe J

"Bad" movies can make for very entertaining reactions. We are here to have some fun...sometimes at Cassie's expense, lol.

N M

“Actively Avoiding” movie: Eyes Wide Shut Tom and Nicole. Come on.

Mark White

+1 “A Perfect World”

Mark White

More TNG episodes would be great. There are so many good ep’s Cassie missed and I’m sure she would really enjoy.

Dean Holt

Something I’d love to see is a sports movie once every month or two. As I’m surprised you’ve not see the F1 Movie. But a few more good sports films I’d recommend is Any Given Sunday, Grand Turismo, Raging Bull, Hustle, The Fighter, The Wrestler, The Hustler, The Colour of Money, Two for the Money, Invictus, Blades of Glory, United & The Damned United. Just a few suggestions regarding some of your 2026 goals foreign movies; The Raid & Battle Royal. War movies; Here a few of my favourites, A Bridge too Far, Kelly's Heroes, The Dam Busters, Bat 21*, Flight of the Intruder. Greyhound, Sisu, Zero Dark Thirty, Warfare & K19 The Widowmaker I think to get 100k Movie on Pick a Flick, it’s needs to be a well known cult classic something like the below films. From Dusk till Dawn, BloodSport, Reel Steel, InnerSpace, Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, Road House or Seven. A few Comedy suggestions Stripes, Midnight Run, The Great Outdoors, Dragnet, Stakeout, AirHeads, Get Shorty, Fanboys & Grown Ups Rom/Coms There’s Something About Mary, The Wedding Singer, Bird on a Wire, Doc Hollywood & Cocktail Regarding Horror Movies, The scariest movies I’ve seen are probably the first two Conjuring films. But Pet Sematary, The Descent, Evil Dead (original or remake), Insidious, The Mist, House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects I think will challenge Cassie especially the last two & Insidious.

Harvey Lee

Also Jennifer Aniston in Leprechaun (she cringes at that one ) Horror legend Wes Craven gave Bruce Willis his first TV role in the pilot episode of The 80's reboot of the Twilight Zone . The episode was titled Shatter day .

Rene G.

hah, I get my disturbing movies through this site called "EffedUpMovies". Quite the selection they got there!! Also, Here's another disturbing movie that she might get trauma: "Good Boy 2022" From Norway... Quite the "Doggo" "wholesome" movie.

Rene G.

2026 watchlist goal: React to The Girl Next Door (Not the elisha cuthbert version) The OTHER one.. Based on Jack Ketchum's novel. And Stephen King praised it as like a "darker side of Stand By Me" Not quite the rom-com genre too!!! Go watch at your own risk.

Mike Dunn

"This Is Us" might be the best love story ever told!!!

Mike Lemon

If you want a good listen, Robert Meyer Burentt, breaks down why and how 2009 onward Trek went off the rails- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ0yrSIEKmM The first break down starts at about the 20 minute mark and goes about 5 minutes. The whole show is good if you want to see people losing their minds over new Trek, give it a listen if you have time.

Kyle Reese Popcorn Fan

That's not the scariest movie she could see, it's just the most ridiculously violent and filled with SA. Probably not what she meant.

Mike Lemon

Pet Semitary breaks one, possible two of Cassie's "hard no" rules. I wouldn't expect that one to ever be seen.

Kyle Reese Popcorn Fan

The Evil Dead 2013 is one of my favourite movies ever made, but it might be more gory than technically scary, and possibly not what she meant. I'm think more like Insidious or the Conjuring is probably where she's going to go.

Kyle Reese Popcorn Fan

Lol, idk about the movie, but she could watch paint dry and I'd be there. I literally got an award for watching nearly over 1200 of her videos in 2025. She doesn't even have that many videos on the channel.

Kyle Reese Popcorn Fan

I joked when I first joined the channel that she should watch Hereditary because its so scary, but in reality... I don't know.

Dean Holt

Tbh, I think the Evil Dead remake is better than the original. But I get your point about it being more Gory. She has mentioned before that horror movies about serial killer She finds more scary. So I think the Rob Zombie movies could test her limits.

Chris Thom

Something About Mary would be fun. The Wedding Singer I would be really surprised if she hadn't seen it yet, but if she hasn't yet she definitely should ASAP. She and Carly would love it.

Chris Thom

After 2001, it does seem more plausible. And with all the Epstein stuff in the news, it might be timely.

Chris Thom

Haven't heard anyone bring up Enough Said in a long time! That cast was really sweet in that. RIP James. Very real and down to earth performances. I kind of like that that was his last role. Very humanizing.

Dean Holt

With that logic, she wouldn’t have watched Aliens or T2. Also just watch Batman Begins. Don’t bother with the other two movies lol. There’s probably more good sequels that you might think. Personally I think these (just the ones Cassie has started) are worth watching, are as good as original or better than the original. Blade 2 The Accountant 2 Red Dragon Doctor Sleep Bill & Ted 2 Equaliser 2 & 3 Beverly Hills Cop 2 Split Alien 3 & Romulus Predators & BadLands Terminator Salvation There’s probably a few more but I can’t remember any more franchises she stared and not finished.

Dean Holt

Yeah I thought she’d watched one of them, but wasn’t hundred percent.

Clay F

Dean -- thanks for the reply. You do have some logic. Thanks again. I am generally very biased against sequels. There are rare exceptions (e.g., Aliens, GF2, T2) to the bad sequels rule. Outside of rare exceptions, have to be wary. Much sequels trash, cash grabs. Some at best an acceptable average or above average, but almost none are stellar. Split is on my watchlist. I am not a huge fan of The Equalizer franchise. IMDb 8.5, RT 93%, RT Audience 94% -- Alien (1979) IMDb 8.4, RT 94%, RT Audience 94% -- Aliens (1986) IMDb 6.4, RT 44%, RT Audience 46% -- Alien 3 (1992) IMDb 6.2, RT 56%, RT Audience 39% -- Alien: Resurrection (1997) IMDb 8.1, RT 90% -- Terminator (1984) IMDb 8.6, RT 91% -- T2 (1986) IMDb 6.5, RT 33% -- T3 (1992) IMDb 6.7, RT 57% -- Blade 2 (also not fan of original Blade) IMDb 6.6, RT 75% -- The Accountant 2 (liked ok) IMDb 7.2, RT 69% -- Red Dragon (not a fan but acceptable) IMDb 7.3, RT 78% -- Doctor Sleep (on my watchlist) IMDb 6.3, RT 56% -- Bill & Ted 2 IMDb 7.4, RT 83%, RT Audience 82% -- BHC (1984) IMDb 6.6, RT 48%, RT Audience 58% -- BHC 2 (1987) IMDb 7.8, RT 64% -- Predator (1987) IMDb 6.3, RT 36% -- Predator 2 IMDb 7.1, RT 93% -- Prey (2022) (I love Prey) IMDb 7.3 RT 86% -- Predators: BadLands (2025) (prefer this reaction over Predator 2).

Richard Maurer

For every good sequel there’s at least 10 bad ones, probably closer to 20.

Richard Maurer

Mike - you’re probably right but then I never thought I’d see Nosferatu (24) on this channel so you never know.

Chris Thom

Speaking of 'Come What May', I don't think there's been a Baz Lurhmann on the channel yet. Fairly certain you've seen Moulin Rouge. But Romeo + Juliet? Elvis? The Great Gatsby? Strictly Ballroom? Australia?

Andrew Buel

On the subject of Trek, it might be easier to do a return to TOS. It is the 60th anniversary and there are plenty of episodes that would be fun to react to. Revisiting TNG might get some interesting results since you've watched most of the top tier episodes. If you did choose to move on to DS9, you may want to consider doing extra episodes because the storylines get a lot more serialized and just 6 per season might cause you to miss important info. Regardless, thanks for the content, good luck with your goals, and Happy New Year!

Clay F

I like Elvis movie b/c I grew up on Elvis as a kid. Austin Butler nailed Elvis so well. The Tom Hanks character is depressing but that is reality. She has seen Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, and Romeo + Juliet.

Clarence Newman

There's a way of doing DS9 without watching every episode and without Cassie losing the thread of the story. If she ever starts considering it seriously, I'll drop it in as a suggestion. There's so much good tv there (thanks in no small part to the tight story arc Babylon 5 was doing between seasons 2 and 4 - I really think DS9 copied the format of the Shadow War for the Dominion arc), so it would be good to find a way to do it.

Rene G.

I raise the Omen and Village of the Damned from john carpenter.

Mark White

Andrew, that’s what worries me about DS9, as much as I think it’s a fantastic show and I would love Cassie to watch it, I’m just not sure it’s a show which you can hand pick episodes. Maybe you can get away with it for the early seasons, but not Season 6 which is just one long episode.

Dean Holt

Clay, I do have to agree there’s a lot out there that’s just a cash grab and I think Avatar is top of the list (not seen the 3rd one & don’t plan on it, with how bad the 2nd was.), Nobody 2 wasn’t great either (one I watched a few months ago). I know we’ve had the conversation about the IMDB rating before. I do respect that you used them to help you decide. But I’d prefer just to make my own mind up when it comes to some franchise (mainly Horror & Sci-Fi). As yes I’ll admit I’ve watched a lot of bad films, but I’ve also enjoyed a lot as well that gave poor reviews/ratings. But maybe I have more free time when it comes to films as it’s one of my main hobbies.

Dean Holt

Richard yeah I get that & I’m not disagreeing. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop watching them or anyone else should ether. For example I know there’s lots of hate for Alien 3, but most of it comes from what happened at the beginning. Personally I’d think it’s a good movie with a great cast. I’ll admit the CGI is pretty bad but it’s doesn’t spoil the film for me and I also think the Assembly cut improves the film. Also think Blade 2 is so much better than the original. Better villain, better story & better characters.

Clarence Newman

There is a solution, guys. Cassie won't need to watch every episode and she won't miss a thing. Cryptic yes, but no real point laying it out yet. It's not on Cassie's radar yet and it'll be lost in the ether if we bring it up now. If the day comes....

Jason Pratt

I love the shoutout to the Replacements. I really think it’s an underrated movie and wish more reactors would get into it. Good luck on the resolutions! If it’s a flick I really like I can add 10 watches to the 100k.

Jason Pratt

I see it in pink neon. Blink blink blinkity blink

Richard Maurer

Dean - sorry, can’t agree about sequels. Sure there are a few good, or even great ones, but most just cheapen the legacy of original film. And in many cases change things story-wise that damage original film’s narrative. Unpopular opinion - I even feel that Aliens, although it’s a good action film, changed the narrative of the original (and superior) Alien in a way that was damaging to that film’s basic reality. It took the alien, which was in the first film a single scary, extremely dangerous being, and turned it into multiple mindless cannon fodder creatures that just threw themselves at the guns of their enemies like video game foes. As I said Aliens is a good action film, but not my idea of a good sequel to the original film because it changed the narrative so completely it has little to do with original film. So, as you can see, I’m really strict about what makes a good sequel, even though I almost never bring up my objection to Aliens just because it causes arguments that I usually don’t think are worth getting into so when someone uses Aliens as an example of a good sequel I tend to let it slide. All this to say that there are many films, like Halloween (78), where I don’t even acknowledge their sequels existence. As far as I’m concerned those films are one and done.

Jason Pratt

I’ve got a few recommendations Comedy- Multiplicity with Michael Keaton and Andie McDowell Scariest- Sinister with Ethan Hawke Romance- Big sweeping musical western- Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Richard Maurer

Seriously though, are you really just ignoring all great horror films that comes out of Europe and East Asia? The whole martial arts genre that wouldn’t exist without China and Japan? The great crime dramas , war movies, comedies? Foreign movies aren’t just art house films.

Richard Maurer

Actually, rereading my first comment, it’s probably more a matter of when, not if, they’re going to switch to using the new Popcorn Requests for polls and the like. Why make a new one if they’re not going to use it?

Richard Maurer

When any reactor tells me that the reaction is a rewatch, I almost always click off that reaction, even for LotR, which I normally at least give a chance to. I’ve seen too many reactors say “I saw LotR as a kid, I barely remember it” then you start watching the reaction and it’s all “Oh, it’s gollum, don’t trust him Frodo!” and “We’re coming up on the part where Gandalf dies”.

Clarence Newman

One of those great feel-good movies. No deep life-mirrors or patronising lectures. Just interesting folks having fun we'd all love to have. Man, I miss those days.

Björn Crafoord

For all mankind is a very good Series or Battlestar Galactica

Christian Becker

One way- though rather convoluted -might be to just follow Worf’s storyline as a guardrail, with absolutely relevant story episodes as filler and/or poll episodes. I think many of us can agree that the first two seasons could be done with 2–5 episodes each; later seasons might require considerably more, though.

Joe J

No indication to me that Cassie has any interest in DS9 or Voyager. More episodes of TOS and/or TNG is possible...but I think that ship has sailed.

Andrew Buel

I saw "New Trek Series?" in her watch goals list. DS9 would be the next series, but we will have to see if she has time to dive back into Trek again this year.

Ancestor of Freedom

Some good goals there Cassie. Good foreign film and possible scariest: The Ophanage (spanish). Romcom: Celeste and Jesse Forever.x

Mike Lemon

Pet Sematary breaks one, maybe two, of Cassie's "hard no" rules.

Dean Holt

Mike, I think after watching GoT some of them rules went out the window 😂

Harvey Lee

Thanks yes I knew somehow it would be obvious and I would go " of course!!🤦‍♂️

Clarence Newman

Cassie. This may be off-topic, but I just found out that a group of wild rabbits is called a 'fluffle'. Thought you would like to know.

Clarence Newman

That reminds me. Please watch "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

Chris Thom

Yeah all the stuff about Tom Parker not being able to leave the country and having Elvis stay in Vegas was true. But the part where he fired him onstage was fictional. That would be a fun reaction if she hasn't seen it yet. But if she already saw all those Baz movies, I'm thinking she's probably already seen it. Bummer. Romeo + Juliet might be a good rewatch.

Chris Thom

Aww that's adorable. Bet she would like to know that. Just saw a WFRR reaction last night. This couple where the guy has seen everything but she hasn't, and he's always chuckling off screen while she's having her mind blown at older movies. lol

Chris Thom

Definitely some reactions I've seen way too many times on here. But haven't seen the Replacements one yet. But yeah I've been surprised how often she brings it up. One of her most referenced videos.

Mark White

I think if I could choose any Trek right now for Cassie, despite my love for Voyager and DS9, I would go for more TNG episodes. It was the polling of TNG episodes that finally persuaded me to become a Patreon.

Mike Lemon

Was just tidying up my hard drives and I think I have a solution to the Trek conundrum (Trek series are either way too long or are modern garbage) - Star Trek Continues (2013). Only 11 episodes so Cassie could burn through it in a month, it is a continuation and ending for TOS, and probably nobody here has seen it so it would be a first time watch for everybody.

Tater

Watch what you want and ignore everyone telling you what they don't want to see.

Mark White

I would prefer “Watership Down” A different kind of Rabbit movie to be fare! I’m not sure Cassie’s heart could cope right now though!

Joe J

Cassie's no cinephile, I expect she'll be watching some sequels and enjoying quite a few and some less so. I would certainly prefer a few sequels over rom-coms and most comedy films. Maybe we'll get to vote on some sequels, or maybe not.

Clarence Newman

Better yet, Mike. Season 3 of Picard. Only TEN episodes, done and dusted.

Clarence Newman

I would settle for Jimmy Rabbit in The Commitments. We would lose Jessica Rabbit, but gain Imelda Quirke.

Kawaii Leonard

I mean, if this was for herself, I would agree. However, this channel is for her to broaden her horizon, as she has said many times, not to keep watching her favourites.

Kristin

You can't hand pick episodes of DS9, there's world building and character building in almost every episode. I would love her to watch it, but she'd have to watch the complete series.

John Rando

Cassie hear me out… For the GOT S4 Ep. 9-10 Finale, Theater Room.

John Rando

It’s a fun little movie. If you can find over 15 other channels reacting to it, it must be special to a large group of people. Certainly is for my silly little childhood.

Ben Jack

These were the two episodes that were released in IMAX, so not a bad idea!

aarswft

Oooh Andor.

trainlover 345

Andor! Andor is tremendously good - and it is only 2 seasons long (24 episodes).

trainlover 345

Andor is terrific! And yeah, the first couple of episodes are definitely slow - which is probably why they released the first 3 episodes in bunch - because they set it up so that 1-3 is 1 "arc", and it's the same with 4-6.

Richard Maurer

A fluffle of rabbits was grazing in a meadow, until a convocation of eagles 🦅 came along and ate them all. The end!

Clarence Newman

Would never happen. The eagles would be chased off by an embarrassment of pandas.

Richard Maurer

That would be embarrassing for the eagles.

Byrd N. Hand

Luhrmann's a little overindulgent for my tastes. He's like a more PC version of Ken Russell. 🤔

Byrd N. Hand

For the record, Andor is *DISNEY Star Wars,* not George Lucas Star Wars (yes, there IS a difference). 🤫

Paul Sutton

I agree with others that DS9 is not a hand pick a few epsodes per season, but rather a complete series watch. It is such a rich show and absolutley worthy of a full watch. That being said I would also recommend watch some more TNG before DS9 as there are several secondary characters in TNG epsiodes that later appear on DS9. Having seen their earlier appearances would make for a richer experience in my view.

Earthwalker

I am all for watching all James Bond movies. Also for a good war movie and foreign movie i would recommend "All Quiet on the Western Front"

Mark Vaderr

I like the way "The Ring" is set-up more than Ringu, but they are both good. Ringu is creepier. The Ring has better acting. They are two different movies.

Richard Maurer

Joe - a bad movie is a bad movie, cinephile or not.

Milton Reduxed

You've been actively avoiding Bad Santa so put that on the schedule now for December 1st—it's not an anti-Christmas movie btw

The Fly

I am not gheeeyyy! Azzclown!

Paul Cox

Ahh crumbs, I felt like rewatching your Roman Holiday reaction on YT just now only to find it's not there. A Paramount thing, I'm guessing 😭

Clay F

She apparently liked Moulin Rouge.

Clay F

I think she would like SNW. But right now I am so focused on and ecstatic that she likely returning to SW to react to Andor.

Clay F

+1 for "This Is Us" but she has seen that series.

Clay F

Ditto

Clay F

I loved For all mankind

Clay F

Nolan Batman trilogy IMDb 8.2, RT 85%, RT Audience 94% – Batman Begins (2005) IMDb 9.0, RT 94%, RT Audience 94% – The Dark Knight (2008) IMDb 8.4, RT 87%, RT Audience 90% – The Dark Knight Rises (2012) For comparison: IMDb 3.8, RT 11%, RT Audience 16% – Batman & Robin (1997)

Clay F

+1 for Batman (1966). My top 3 Batman: 1. Nolan trilogy 2. Batman (2022) 3. Batman (1966)

Tyler Lathrop

Are we getting a game of thrones tonight? i'm trying to stay up if so

Chris Thom

Overindulgent is exactly the word to describe it. Lol. Very theatrical, over the top, and inspired by some kind of uppers laced with adhd.

Gray

if your talking YT edit then most probably.

VOCFM

obv the full edit for 9-10

Cole Jennett

YouTube edit for eps 7&8 should post shortly

Tyler Lathrop

Sorry I should’ve specified. Waiting for episodes 9-10. She normally drops it every week so I was expecting it tonight or tomorrow

David

Daniel Radcliffe movies' are trainwick escape from pretoria December boys kill your darlings swiss army man my boy jack best film hole ever

James Owings

lol oh no not the last dragon. Lee Roy green catchin bullets with his teeth!

David Collins

Punctuation marks will NOT hurt you. They are your friend. :D

Byrd N. Hand

Abbott & Costello have nothing on the Marx Brothers, Laurel & Hardy, or W.C. Fields, but I'll gladly take them over most modern mainstream comedy crap any day.

Mike Lemon

Catches bullets with his teeth!? ***** please.

Rene G.

btw, since you love Marvel movies so much, how about a foreign superhero movie?? It's called Guardians from 2017.. Think of it like if Marvel heroes was made by Russians... You won't regret it. My new guilrt pleasure of a movie. Better than the new craptastic 4.

Milton Reduxed

Eventually yes but at the moment, ''Requests are still in beta — please don’t invest too much time requesting all of your movies yet. This will be reset once we launch the live version''

René Ferland

Yes, The Grand Seduction (2013) is Canadian, it is a (quite good) remake of a Québec movie: La grande séduction (2003). The director/writer of both movies also made Starbuck (2011), which he remade in the US as Delivery Man (2013). There are also remakes of La grande séduction in France (Un village presque parfait, 2014) and Italy (Un paese quasi perfetto, 2016).

René Ferland

I like many of your choices: Enough Said (2013), The Deer Hunter (1978), City Lights (1931), King Kong (2005), The Godfather Part III (1990). I would add the (original) Danish movie The Guilty (2018).

John A

Zero logic for a reaction channel to things she's never seen and wouldn't know what to watch. Go white knight somewhere else

David

top 4 new movies are sing sung blue marty supreme the housemaid us this thing oh best cinema movies

Jacob Wagner

She is going to HATE Last Dragon..she hasn't done well with camp at all

Douglas Arthur Brekan

I have a list already for Love Month! Perhaps you could do a romance once a week throughout February since there are so many great options! Maybe you can do a poll?

Clay F

Ditto

Clay F

She posted a full reaction to The Last Dragon (1985) a week ago. Her text on the thumbnail: Did I just watch that? Sho Nuff! Haha it's stuff like that where I can see how this became a cult classic to some! The quotes of ridiculousness do stick! I don't think I was the target audience in mind for this per se, but I can tell you it definitely was not forgettable haha.

SeanATX

Please watch Andor!!! I would love an excuse to rewatch it

Richard Maurer

Yeah i saw that. I played around with it enough to get my bearings. I hope they don’t change it much before the official launch - seems pretty good where it’s at now.

MoVal Jokester

Hi Cassie, sorry I'm not sure of the format. I am a subscriber but I don't participate in polls yet. So I'm hoping that you receive this message. First off, my wife and I love your channel and we always watch you and your great content. Any ways I just want to let you know of two sure fire sports movies that you'll absolutely love. Please, just keep them in mind for your next Popcorn pick of the month or you next sports themed videos. The first is Hard Ball, staring Keanu Reeves. The second is an 80s movie called The Best of times, starting Robin Williams and Kurt Russell. Both movies are great movies, each are unique, and I think you'll love both of them.

Lamar Smith

Did y’all see? Robert Duvall just died….

SmooothE🚔🚔

sad RIP a real legend. So much greatness in his Palmares.

SmooothE🚔🚔

maybe you can get to Jack Reacher with your bother or sister as a guest. The late Robert Duvall has some time in this one as well

SmooothE🚔🚔

yeah some of the hip or urban stuff she doesn't get . I loved Sho Nuff but I figured it would be her her head unfortunately . Imagend if she watched im gonna Get You Sucka :-)

Browniewin

For a Charlie Chaplain movie I recommend The Great Dictator (1940) or Modern Times (1936).

Browniewin

I just joined your Patreon. One of my all time favorite movies that I have never seen anyone react to is, The Station Agent (2003). I would love to see you, or your and your sis react to it. I think you would enjoy it.

Gregory Moss

I enjoy your YouTube reactions very much. I look forward. To what you have planned for 2026. I do have a couple of reccomendations For you. For the Charlie Chaplin movie, Modern Times. For an unexpected Rom con...Chasing Amy.

Louis Chapman

What happened to the Last Dragon, was that ever posted? Did I miss it?

Shawn Conte

Still feel like Peanut Butter Falcon would make it onto your top ten list.
