Collar City Guy

Darn it, I'll have to watch it later and I can't wait to see it!

Christian Becker

So, here we go. Today I'm only here for Cassie's reaction. Personally, I don't like the movie that much, so I skipped the full version. (shame on me)

Louis Chapman

Can't wait to see this reaction 😄

Clarence Newman

Steve McQueen and Paul Newman were buddies. They should be the next poll.

woofman

Now please do the the 2nd one!!! It's even funnier!

Uncle Phoenix

Next month Cassie should just pick the Four movies that she wants to see and the four movies that she has been avoiding. Then we can pick which of the four she should watch from each group.

K, Zachary

The Pitt 2-2 is up now. Were watching it. We both saw your Instagram message. Eva (my gf) is a NP in the PICU she is back and forth between the ER and the PICU all the time she loves that show. Nevermind this not the new one 9:00am is tomorrow. We have seen this one.

Clay F

I like Cassie's picks polls.

Uncle Phoenix

They are great; but I think that Cassie’s Pick A Flicks are my favorite.

Jacob Colson

Cassie, I know you're kinda annoyed with Chris Tucker's character but you need to check out Money Talks! A hilarious movie with him and Charlie Sheen.

CJ Holden

One of the reasons why you never saw Chris Tucker in anything else than this and THE FIFTH ELEMENT is that he doesn't have the most extensive filmography. In fact: between 1998 and 2007 his only movies were RUSH HOUR 1, 2 & 3, plus some appearances in music videos. He probably doesn't have the most extravagant lifestyle, so he makes a movie, gets a HUGE paycheck (I think 20 million for RH2) and then only acts when he wants to. And I totally respect that!

Clay F

Chris Tucker Movies Air A good Chris Tucker movie to react to is “Air” (2023) (sport/drama) [IMDb 7.4, RT 93%, RT 97%] (based on true story) (additionally starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck). I enjoyed the movie. Jackie Brown Chris Tucker is in “Jackie Brown” (1997) (one of my favorite Tarantino films). Not as prominent as in “Air” but a good performance, nonetheless. Additionally starring Robert De Niro, Samuel L. Jackson (excellent as usual), the legend Pam Grier, the hot Bridget Fonda, Michael Keaton, and Robert Forster (nominated for Oscar). Silver Linings Playbook As you may agree, Chris Tucker gave an excellent performance in Silver Linings Playbook. You could rewatch Silver Linings Playbook on your own if you are craving Chris Tucker. I love Silver Linings Playbook.

Clarence Newman

Half a million subscribers achieved! Corks need to be poppin'!

Richard Maurer

Will a plastic bottle cap suffice? That’s all that I have.

Richard Maurer

Glad you enjoyed this movie Cassie. Personally I think it’s ok, but I’m not really a fan.

Joe J

Like most channels, Cassie has to let patrons pick most of the movies via polls, otherwise patrons mostly would just leave, lol. Cassie chooses around 50% of content herself, been that way for several years.

Joe J

Cassie took the movie way too seriously, just didn't get the vibe, lol. She doesn't connect much with Chan & Tucker.

Joe J

500k is okay I suppose, but can she get 1M, lol.

Joe J

I think Cassie has already had enough of Tucker, maybe Chan also.

Uncle Phoenix

I was just thinking of a way to reduce the time spent; because I know we are going to have fun. Sometimes it’s fun to watch a bad movie, as long as we all know that a good movie is just around the corner.

Richard Maurer

She liked Jackie, and sorta came around on Chris Tucker. Cassie’s too nice to appreciate Tucker’s abrasive style of comedy.

Richard Maurer

There are people who just show off their exotic pets who have well over 1 million subs. I don’t see why Cassie couldn’t do it. Maybe she needs to get a king cobra or a black mamba for a co-host?

Joe J

A good film is one you like, a bad film is one you don't like, lol. Purely subjective. Cassie tries to keep the majority of paying patrons happy with a variety of content.

Joe J

She could bring on her bearded dragon Rocky as a co-host, lol.

Uncle Phoenix

Well, “Highlander” (1986) is a bad movie that I love and still enjoy watching.

Ace Degenerate

You know what.. that’s crazy. I’ve never really looked at his filmography before your comment. From 1993-2023 he’s got just 14 films. And out of those 14 films, he’s been the lead/co-star in just 5, and 3 of those are Rush Hour movies. It’s wild that he has pretty much cemented himself in pop culture because most of his performances are so memorable.

Joe J

Don't think patrons will ever vote in the Newman/McQueen poll. Maybe if she would just watch The Towering Inferno...we can dream I suppose.

Ace Degenerate

Cassie should watch Dead Presidents. It’s got a totally different Chris Tucker. Plus the great Kieth David, N’Bushe Wright (Blade), Michael Imperioli and Tony Cirico (Sopranos), James Pickens Jr. (Grey’s Anatomy) are also in it.

Joe J

Seems to be question whether "The Last Dragon" will get a YT edit. I think it might just do a tad bit better than "The Manchurian Candidate", LOL.

Richard Maurer

That’s about the lowest bar you could set.

Richard Maurer

Too commonplace. She needs something that people will notice. How about an alligator or better yet, a saltwater crocodile. Or she could go the mammal route and get a big cat or a honey badger.

Above Average Dave

Gosh, I willfully forgot that Chris Tucker even existed. Kind of damaging to see his image after I’d purged him from memory. Jackie Chan is a treasure, though. 😁

Mark Vaderr

Congratulations, Cassie, for reaching 500,000 subscribers on YouTube!

Joe J

Maybe TLD has a cult following, lol. Why do I just know she'll do an edit for "The Assassination of Jesse James" with Brad Pitt.

Clarence Newman

That's fine. It would then be a 6 way tie between The Hustler, Cool Hand Luke, Cincinnati Kid, Bullitt, Papillon and Towering Inferno - all with 1 vote apiece - and Cassie would have to watch them all.

Collar City Guy

I'll join Mark Vaderr in congratulating you Cassie on 500,000 YT subscribers...when's the party!!

Andrew Rose

Congrats on the 500k Cassie!!!!! 🤩😎👏🎉🎉✨

Clarence Newman

As long as I get one for Cannonball Run.

Richard Maurer

If Cassie ever watches Cannonball Run she’ll probably scrap the Patreon reaction before it goes up.

Richard Maurer

Joe - agree about movie quality being subjective . But are ‘so bad it’s good movies’ actually good? I think you’d have a hard time finding someone who really thought these type of movies were actually good, rather than just fun to laugh at.

Cole Jennett

He was really good in his bit part in Silver Linings Playbook, but even that was nearly 15 years ago🤯

Clay F

Reception She seems to like Chan. Her reception to Tucker reminded me of her reception to Eddie Murphy in Trading Places, but worse with Tucker. Annoying or Funny? She is not alone in finding Tucker annoying (some people find his comedy in this movie as annoying) but I thought funny at times (many find his comedy in Rush Hour funny). RH = commercially successful -- yet, RH is my least favorite of the 3 buddy cop movies she reacted to this week. Rush Hour 2 Joe, agree she has already had enough of Tucker but she seemed to entertain giving him 2nd chance in RH2. She probably not seriously considering reacting to RH2. Some patrons pushing RH2, saying it's best of franchise. Maybe so, but you get the same Tucker, the same formula.

Clay F

Rush Hour 2 The Tucker annoying behavior would be even worse to her in Rush Hour 2. Patrons promoting RH2 could say we want a reaction to RH2 b/c we love RH2 (even though we know you may not). If she decided to react to RH2, she might say to herself after the fact something analogous to the proverb, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." Alternatives My original post was to give alternatives to RH2, and to implicitly highlight she may not be a fan of Tucker (as you said, "Cassie has already had enough of Tucker"). Tucker hasn't done that many movies. Air Tucker did extensive research for his role as Howard White in Air (2023), interviewing White's childhood friends, coaches, and teachers, and even writing many of his own lines, leveraging his real-life friendship with White and his improv skills to bring depth to the character. Stand-up Tucker is 54. She may could catch one of his rare stand-up dates (e.g., at casino) in person, such as in Vegas or other areas of country. Seems unlikely but better way for her to gel w/Tucker (though more commitment) to give Tucker 2nd chance than RH2, especially if catching his stand-up act happens to be convenient for her.

Clarence Newman

I will pay her ten dollars for the master copy.

Richard Maurer

She won’t even admit she watched it. She’ll want to pretend it never happened, hoping that one day she’ll be able to forget that awful film.

Rick Williams

Congratulations on hitting 500,000, Cassie.

Tyler Lathrop

500k subs is insane! Congratulations! 🎊🎉
