Edgar Gonzalez

Dam, this like a 4 hour movie (I know we are only getting g half, but im sure that Cassie and Carly did everything in one take and just edited the video) Make sure to make plenty of popcorn Cassie, and get ready for a wild ride! 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿

Thomas Cooney

Been such a fan for a long time. Congrats on 500k subscribers! Well deserved. To a million we march! Also, watch “Children of men” and “The Northman” - I had to lol

aarswft

The whole movie is only 1:45:00 if Snyder had just played every clip at regular speed.

Wes

I don’t want to wait for part 2 Cassie!!! 😉

Bill Maurer

Cool ... got something to watch over the weekend before the NFL Championship games

Jay Jay Reyes

Yeah 4 hours is a long sit. Thanks for doing this. Theatrical release was just 2 hrs but it was incomplete.

Bill Maurer

From what I remember, Snyder gave this version to DC / Warner Brothers and they did not like it, at all. Plus, Snyder and his partner / wife tragically lost their daughter. Whedon was brought in to patch stuff into a movies that DC / Warner Brothers wanted. Snyder and others pushed Warner Brothers to release it via a Twitter / X campaign and HBO finally released HIS version back in 2021. Others can chime in with what I missed or have more info.

Stan the Man

Watching this in parts just isn’t the same. Should’ve saved it until u could watch the whole thing. It’s shorter than Return of the King. But I guess since it’s in chapters it’s easier to do it that way. I’m not a huge Snyder fan but I think this is legit one of the better comic book films ever made. It’s crazy WB thought this needed fixing. It’s important to note that the director stepped away when his daughter passed away during post production. WB then hired Joss Whedon the guy who wrote and directed the first two marvel avengers movies to re-edit, reshoot the film. And it’s one of the worst superhero films ever made. The two styles of the different directors do not gel. Whedon has pop culture quips and inserted inappropriate humour while artificially brightening the palette ruining the look of the previous shot material. The bad guy is also VERY different. I almost think u should’ve watched that version first then this to see the differences. It’s crazy.

Just Plain Bob

While I don’t consider this to be the great film that some do (I think it’s solid, even good, but not great) it’s considerably better than the piece of crap that WB unleashed in theaters. What Joss Whedon did to the film was unconscionable. It really seemed like he set out to destroy it. And I say that as a fan of Buffy, Angel, Firefly, the Avengers and almost everything else he’s done. Very interested to see how the sisters react to the original director’s vision.

Clay F

+ 1 for “Children of Men” "The Northman” is not bad. I like it.

Rick Williams

Nope. I am not watching half a movie. That is just cruel.

Walter

It might almost be worth watching the theatrical version, just to see how badly they screwed it up. I am not the biggest fan of Snyder's vision but there is no doubt he had one. And his films do look good. The casting is great (mostly) and he directs the hell out of action scenes. I'm glad he got to complete this film. The end stinger is everything wrong with his approach, in my opinion, but putting that aside, it's not a bad movie.

Knight Squirrel

Yes, it's totally possible to be both a MARVEL and a DC super-fan at the same time and enjoy both equally. The comics are full of MARVEL/DC crossovers. I say go for the MARVEL references if they come up! People do it all the time. The try-hards might bitch and moan but, who cares, what else is new? You two do you! 😊🫶🍿

Chris Thom

Love hearing about which movies your kids are enthralled by. So curious about what older things (and new) this upcoming generation is into. Especially wondering if they would like Who Framed Roger Rabbit or not. Always interesting to hear what holds up with the youngs, or doesn't.

Chris Thom

Carly is her sister.

Chris Thom

Thinking it was probably meant to be two or three movies. Then WB went ahead and gave the extra money to finish (part of) the vision because of fan support.

Edgar Gonzalez

Awww crap 😆 Let me change it real quick, thank you for correcting me... I wonder where the heck did get carrie from 🤔

Chris Thom

Growing up, as a kid and teen (before the newest Marvel movies) my impression was always that DC was leading as far as the business side of things. Still no clue if that was accurate or not.

Walter

I've always been a fan of both. Growing up, it was Superman that ignited my love for comics and the X-Men that kept it going. Since you enjoy this DCU so much, you should probably watch Aquaman and The Flash. And you should really avoid Aquman 2 and Wonder Woman 1984.

bgb1975 (Brian)

I'm wondering how many of the toons in Roger Rabbit Cassie will be able to identify!

Christian Becker

So, after a refreshing sleep during yet another fruitless attempt to watch Snyder's Justice League, GoT here we go. I'm sorry, but this time not even Cassie and Carly could keep me awake, and it was only half of the movie. I woke up hearing the excellent version of “Hallelujah” during the end credits. Snyder simply looooves his slow-mos.

Cole Jennett

I really have to agree. Every scene could have easily cut a minute or two and it would have flowed so much better. For me, it’s not an improvement from Whedon’s version, it’s just more. But I don’t begrudge those who enjoy it.

Cole Jennett

The Nolan Batman Trilogy was awesome, but imo, they’ve never come close to matching those movies on the DC side prior, or since.

Ike

Q: Carly: “Are people Team Marvel or Team DC?” A: The very concept of Team Marvel or Team DC is, for me, a very recent phenomenon if it even exists. I can tell you when I rode my bike to the cookbook shop (actually it was the local music store), there were only music and comic-book fans. Which company owned them was less important than the authors, the artist and stories - some creators moved between both companies, Marvel and DC. Mom was an English teacher, so like most comic book fans, we were READERS first, fanatics second. Example: As young man in the 70s & 80s, wasn’t uncommon for us to purchase the latest run of a story we’re following in DC, while also buying a brand new run of a rebooted Marvel character, and then love one while hating the other. The same scenario was often completely reversed weeks later. I love Superman and Batman, especially together. My little brother was a huge X-Men fan and dabbled into some crazy comic called Deadpool. We often traded books on long road trips in the back of my mom’s Astro Van - now that we’re adults we’ve completely flipped! It’s just one big genre and those that might be fighting about it, probably only watched the movies - and that’s okay too. Let’s Go - Part II !

Chris Thom

As a Millennial I would think pretty much all of them. Though some of the singing trees and such were pretty old. But she's been to all the Disney parks so she's probably seen some references or exhibits with them. And she probably saw Space Jam at least, growing up.

Chris Thom

The Nolan ones had such a realism element to them. To the point I actually forget that they're DC at all.

Chris Thom

As a child/teen I do kind of recall feeling like we were supposed to choose which we were loyal to. But I never could. Actually legit caused some cognitive dissonance because I was so confused trying to pick out what actually separated the companies and what was the same. My brain was always looking for patterns again. But I could never quite tell the difference.

Chris Thom

Was just thinking that the villagers singing was a bit unnecessary. lol

Stick Figure Studios

Though long, this version is so much better than the patched together Frankenstein monster that is the theatrical cut Joss Whedon threw together. Whatever else one can say about Zack Snyder, he had a vision and I am glad that we finally got to see it realized. Also, don't let anyone tell you that you can't watch this movie in two parts. When the original 1978 SUPERMAN first premiered on network television, ABC made a special event out of it by reinserting whole scenes that were cut from theatrical release which stretched it out to a 3-hour running length. With commercials that turns into about a 4-hour broadcast, so they actually split it up into two nights. You watched the first half one night and the second half the following night. I was only like 5 years old when that happened, but I remember it and it was a big deal. In truth, I did the same thing with this film when it premiered on HBO MAX and now you ladies are essentially following suit. Enjoy. :-)

Stick Figure Studios

If you want even more backstory to these characters, Cassie, you should watch the first AQUAMAN movie, the first SHAZAAM movie and THE FLASH. I thought they were all good/worth seeing and you will probably like them. Carly too.

Clay F

Good suggestion for backstory but not worth it imo. In any case, I think after the conclusion next week, DCEU may be over for a while on the channel.

Shehab Dawoud

I'd say The Flash would be enough, because it is the one that's the closest to these movies. It also has a nice send-off for two iconic actors.

Clay F

I liked it. Yeah, should have sent the hot WW more as recruiter. I like the score (soundtrack). Did you recognize Lord Bolton (Carly called him “pure evil”) in the bank with WW (“You can be anything you want to be.”). Jeremy Irons makes a good Alfred. I like Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne. Gal Gadot has such a remarkable physical presence. Connie Nielsen was attractive as Lucilla in Gladiator (2000) and remains attractive at 50-51 in this movie. Agree could use Superman. What’s the deal with the aspect ratio – functional and/or artistic? William Dafoe who played the Green Goblin will always be Elias of Platoon to me. Dafoe is good in The Florida Project (2017) [RT 96%] (Dafoe nominated for Oscar).

Clay F

I like how action seems reasonable/measured, unlike the mindless/monotonous action in BvS and w/last 40 mins of effects-driven action in Man of Steel. I hope Justice League conclusion we watch next week doesn’t degenerate into that. My ranking based on how entertaining I found each movie: --Wonder Woman (2017). 8/10. Gal Gadot is captivating. Plus, good story. --First Half of Justice League (2021). 7/10 --Man of Steel (2013). 6/10 --BvS (2016) (Ultimate Edition). 3/10

Mojo One Thousand

Glad you did split this in half... ponderous is the word I would use. There is a lot of dragging out shots. I remember falling asleep the first time I watched this, but I wasn't laying all that on the movie, it was mainly me. I have seen it one other time and I can't remember, but I probably did break it up. I am sure not sure if I would have revisited this if it wasn't for this reaction. I think there is more evidence here that "Superman" just wearing glasses may work as a disguise. Cassie has no love for "Roose Bolton" (Michael McElhatton) in GoT, but stick him in a hat and suit instead of fur and he is unrecognisable. I am guessing the most recent GoT which featured "Bolton" a bit were likely after this. Also, "Steppenwolf" is voiced by Ciaran Hines, "Mance Rayder" from GoT, among many others things such as "Munich". And "There will be blood".

Mojo One Thousand

@Cole, I agree with some of what you are saying. I kinda think about what was in the theatrical to pick up where things were added/changed, and I get why Whedon cut some things... there was one seen where "Diana" basically laid a bunch of exposition on "Bruce" in a couple lines, which pretty much summed up the entire 5-10 scene we just watched. "Bruce" needed it, but I don't think the audience needed it twice.

Richard Maurer

I do remember there was a rivalry in the comics fandom between Marvel and DC, mostly in the 80’s - 90’s. Never really understood it myself, while I generally preferred Marvel I was aware the reason for that was I grew up reading Marvel. But as adult I read both, plus many other smaller companies (Dark Horse, Image, etc) and independent comics. I read the ones I enjoyed rather worrying about some silly rivalry. And superhero movies have been the same, while prefer the MCU, again at least partly due to nostalgia, I watch DC and other comic property movies too.

Richard Maurer

I like this movie but as I’ve said before, what the Snyder cut, rather ironically, needs most is a good editor. Too many scenes dragged out far too long.

Richard Maurer

To say something slightly in Joss Wedon’s defense, it was Warner Bro’s who forced Snyder out (using Snyder’s family tragedy as an excuse) and brought Wedon in, a bad habit they have ( see the Hobbit films). So Wedon was brought in to “fix” something that WB didn’t like, apparently wanting a lighter, more Marvel style movie. If Wedon can be blamed for anything, it’s mostly for having poor judgment, he shouldn’t have taken the job in the first place. Even Wedon has said doing Justice League was the “biggest regret” of his life.

Stick Figure Studios

@Clay: If you are right, that would be a shame because I think the DCEU still has some good movies left in it (I also liked James Gunn's THE SUICIDE SQUAD and even *gasp!* WW84), but I know that's a a minority opinion. Most people love to hate on the DCEU.

Stick Figure Studios

@Shehab: The return of one actor in one role in particular is something that I think Cassie would enjoy about that film.

Richard Maurer

It’s shorter than Return of the King, but feels 3 times longer, and that’s coming from someone who actually likes this version of JL. But it definitely needed some editing.

Richard Maurer

That’s pretty much my understanding too. There’s quite a bit of hate directed at Wedon, similar what Peter Jackson gets from people about the Hobbit films ( although to a much lesser degree than Wedon). But the real culprit in both cases was Warner Brothers.

Stan the Man

A few scenes & moments could be cut out or trimmed for sure. This could easily be 3 hours, 3:20. But I’d argue that’s what the theatrical cut should’ve been. This is like the extended cut of the unreleased theatrical cut. That’s how I view it. Cause this never would’ve been released at this length. Much in the same way the LOTR extended cuts have scenes unneeded, they are included for fans, the ask that fans apparently wanted was Snyder’s vision if he had no constraints. I think there’s only one bit that’s is actively bad and stupid and ruins what would otherwise be one of the better moments of the film, all for a stupid cameo that wasn’t part of the original shoot. I’m sure u know the scene. It’s an unnecessary “twist” to a great scene. I will disagree with you on one thing. I think ROTK feels waaaaay longer than this. In fact I kinda feel the chapters help this movie kinda feel shorter in a weird way. ROTK drags. Big time(PJ’s big mistake with editing that film was all the fade outs that make you think credits are coming and that was a problem inherent in the theatrical cut). I love ROTK but after the siege of Gondor the movie has pacing problems. It’s just insane to me that anyone would cut out all those Cyborg scenes. Dude went from the soul of the movie to nothing in the Whedon version. Prob killed his career too given all the drama surrounding it.

Johnny Bullis

Hey Cassie.. did you recognize Roose Bolton from GoT in here? He was the bank robber at the beginning that was trying to use the bomb that Wonder Woman stopped. And the voice of Steppenwolf is also from GoT .. its Ciaran Hinds.. aka Mance Raydar.. the king beyond the wall. Cant wait for part 2 of this .. things are about to get good.

JPDotCom23

“Also, does he have a mother box in the gym bag?” Hahaha cute

Richard Maurer

Disagree about LotR in general. I only watch the extended cuts, have seen them close to 40 times, and never felt like it was too long - if anything I wished it was longer. This film, on the other hand, I’ve seen twice and it felt too long the first time I saw it. It’s not even close to being as great as the LotR films.

Chris Thom

Three hours and thirty five minutes probably would've been more than enough.

Just Plain Bob

That’s my main complaint exactly. Snyder’s cut is far superior to Whedon’s. But they could cut out an hour by divesting themselves of unnecessary slow motion and cutting numerous scenes by two or three seconds. I’m normally a defender of “letting a scene breathe.” But some of the scenes in Snyder’s cut catch their breath and then hold it til the count of five afterwards.

Chris Thom

The one part I thought it worked pretty well was the Flash scene there at the end. But for the build up it wasn't really necessary.

Brian McGovern

If Zak Snyder could exercise some restraint and do away with slow-mo, this movie may have been half the running time it is.

Brian McGovern

I dont think she recognised the lead terrorist as Roose Bolton from GoT.

MacGuffinStuff

I just love a great story and characters, I don't mind. DC, Marvel. DC were the OG heavy hitters with Superman and then Tim Burton's Batman, both of those movies. Marvel had a really hard time until the Sam Raimi Tobey Macguire SpiderMan movies. I remember a couple Punisher movies. Dolph Lungren, Drago from Rocky 4, played Frank Castle, it wasn't great; then the Thomas Jane and John Travolta The Punisher, that one I liked a lot actually, but other than that, everything Marvel fell flat except Spider Man, and that was it for rare Marvel success until Ironman blew up the MCU.... When I was a teenager in the 90s we also had IMAGE Comics, gave us Spawn, and Dark Horse Comics, gave us the original Alien Vs Predator four issue series which I owned most of, had the first three, it has a #0 issue and that was so cool to me, traded some of my Clive Barker Nightbreed comics for them, never did get that #4 issue. Was so disappointed by the movies, I thought the comic book story was so much better but I can't even remember, all my comics were stolen anyway.

FranciscoGios

Hello ladies; when we see Steppenwolf with the first Motherbox he landed in Chernobyl, Ukraine where the worst radioactive disaster in the late 80s. That’s why Steppenwolf said “it’s toxic”. Aquaman the movie is very interesting if you ladies are interesting.

LukeG84

Great reaction so far. Gutted they decided to split it into two parts. I'm super tempted to keep watching right now! I'm so glad Cassie & Cary are watching this movie. I really hope they decide to complete the DCEU afterwards. 🙏🏻 - Man Of Steel (2013) ✅ - Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016) ✅ - Suicide Squad (2016) - Wonder Woman (2017) ✅ - Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) ✅ - Aquaman (2018) - Shazam! (2019) - Birds Of Prey: And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn (2020) - Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) - The Suicide Squad (2021) - Black Adam (2022) - Shazam! Fury Of The Gods (2023) - The Flash (2023) - Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom (2023)

LukeG84

I wonder why they didn’t watch this in the PIB Theatre? I’d have given anything to see this movie on the big screen.

Mike Lemon

Yeah! There must be no variety! Only long-ass series and franchises! To hell with anybody that doesn't like what I like.

LukeG84

Firstly, Cassie watches plenty of stuff I don’t like. I just skip those reactions. The most recent of which was Midnight Run for example. No interest of that movie whatsoever. Secondly, it’s not like Cassie & Carly watched these four DCEU movies in quick succession. If I’m lucky enough for them to watch these remaining movies, I suspect it won’t be every week like GOT!!

Clay F

Watching in two halves is fine. First half yesterday. Second half this week. I am glad. 4 hrs is too long for a single setting for many of us, unless it's Lord of the Rings.

Bill Maurer

Growing up, I was Team Comic Book kid. Whatever my Mother / Grandfather would buy me. My brother and I watched "Spiderman" cartoon on TV after school. "The Hulk" with the late, great Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrigno on CBS. Adam West as Batman. "Adventures of Superman" with George Reeves. I grew up reading / collecting Thor, Fantastic Four and Superman comics. I do have #1 of The Externals somewhere in my collection. Later on, when Michael Keaton's Batman came out, I was a strictly Batman collector. I like both Marvel and DC movies. Lean to DC. Marvel has had greater success, but only DC has "The Joker". One of the great and terrifying characters in any comic book series.

Richard Maurer

Glad you added LotR to that statement.

Richard Maurer

How about as a compromise Cassie only watches the remaining ones that are actually good - so, Shazam! and Suicide Squad (21), basically.

LukeG84

I’d settle for both Suicide Squads, Shazam!, and The Flash. Yes the CGI is god awful in The Flash, but it would give them more Barry Allen’s backstory. Plus Cassie would appreciate seeing the OG Batman.

Richard Maurer

Haven’t seen the Flash but people I trust told me it’s bad, so I’ve been putting it off. I wouldn’t fight against the first Suicide Squad movie even though I don’t think it’s very good - except for Margot Robbie.

LukeG84

Yes it’s really bad, but Michael Keaton back in his Batsuit alone makes it worth a watch. I liked it. But regardless, they can’t watch The Suicide Squad (2021) without watching the first one for context.

Mike Lemon

"I just skip those reactions." I do to. 14-ish watches last YEAR, 1 so far this year. The long-ass series and franchises cuts the *chance* of something coming up to watch the next week by at least 33%, actually closer to 50%, for those that don't want them. All the while Thrones fans have a YEAR of getting what they want, Trek had another YEAR. It is getting to the point of nearly no time to individual movies. Every time Cassie watches anything, it's all "you *have* to watch these ten other garbage movies in a series/franchise (real or imagined) because...reasons."

Chris Thom

I think Chernobyl on HBO was one of the earlier things she watched for the channel.

Chris Thom

Vaguely remember the cartoons in the 90's being pretty great. Spiderman, X-Men. And that noirish Batman was super high quality for the time. That theme is still epic.

Tyler Hale

How are you guys doing? #restorethesnyderverse

Richard Maurer

#Yeah, that’s not going to happen.

Richard Maurer

Luke - Micheal Keaton coming back was actually a reason for me not to watch it, I was never really a fan of his (or Burton’s) interpretation of the character. Besides it seemed like a gimmick designed to rip-off Spider-Man No Way Home bringing back Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield.

Richard Maurer

Mike - I didn’t want her to do GoT either, and I’m still not happy about it. But I have to admit it’s been good for PiB. It’s doing consistently good numbers on YT and has brought a lot new subscribers to Patreon. What percentage of the Patreon subs will stay on when GoT is over is anyone’s guess, but for now it was a good business decision.

LukeG84

Only 14 watches last year! Sounds like you need to be a bit more open minded Mike. That’s way too many reactions left on the table, and I skip my fare share. You never know, you might like something you didn’t like first time round. That’s certainly happened to since subscribing to this channel.

LukeG84

Richard, I didn’t love those OG Batman movies either, but the nostalgia was still strong for me watching The Flash. I recommend giving it a watch.

Stick Figure Studios

Or GONE WITH THE WIND or LAWRENCE OF ARABIA or ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA or Kenneth Branagh's HAMLET.

Stick Figure Studios

While I have no need for her to watch all of the remaining DCEU movies, I would still love for them to see the first SHAZAM, James Gunn's THE SUICIDE SQUAD, the first AQUAMAN and even THE FLASH and WW84 (Two movies that I know most people didn't care for, but which I rather liked). I have a feeling they would actually enjoy them.

Stick Figure Studios

But slomo is part of the reason we watch a Zack Snyder movie. Snyder without slow-mo is like Tarantino without graphic violence, gratuitous shots of women's feet and frequent use of the N-word.

LukeG84

I can agree with those Stick, but it’s an absolutely must to watch Suicide Squad (2016) before watching The Suicide Squad (2021). Otherwise they won’t know who Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, and Amanda Waller are. I have no doubt Cassie & Carly would enjoy all the DCEU movies if they watched them. Fingers crossed they do. Would be a shame not to.

Richard Maurer

WW84 is mostly mediocre - until you get to that one scene, the one that if genders were reversed would have caused a major uproar. While I’m not one of those people who thinks everything’s “woke” now, that scene was a bridge too far for me. SA is SA, doesn’t matter who’s doing it.

Clay F

This may be moot b/c after the 2nd half of ZS Justice League, I think the DCEU may be over on the channel for a while.

Christian Becker

Honest question @ Luke, did you really like all the movies on your list? I think I'm really a victim of superhero fatigue. I watched the last two installments - Fantastic Four and Snyder Part I - here with Cassie, and even with her help, I fell asleep both times.

LukeG84

Of course. Some were better than others of course, but I have and will continue to rewatched them each time I restart the franchise. What can I say, I finish what I start. Crazy to think you’re falling sleep during these movies. Even rewatching the Snyder Cut in one hit for a forth time, I never got tired. I just hope Cassie & Carly at least watch the ones I mentioned further down in these comments at some point., as I genuinely think Cassie & Carly would enjoy them.

Gregory L Costello

Two Canadian girls watching Aquaman get into a pickup truck to go see his father and neither notices that the two flags in the background are a Canadian Flag and the Flag of Newfoundland, a Canadian Provence.

LukeG84

Just finished watching the second half. Had I know they were going to splice both reactions together I'd have waited to watch them in one hit I think. The ending was a little frustrating as they didn't know who certain characters are. Wish they had watched Suicide Squad (2016) before this movie. At least then they'd know who Harley Quinn was. Here's hoping they see my list below and complete the DECU. Would fill in a lot of gaps in the DECU knowledge, and make for great reaction videos. Hopefully someone explains the context of the apocalypse scenes from this movie and Batman v Superman, so they know just how much the DC reset took from us.

McShades

From what I can tell from the visions, Snyder was going to mix the Apocalypse Story with the Injustice story for the remaining two Justice League movies (if he was able to make them)... Injustice was a video game which they turned into a comic if your interested in the story, it's actually an excellent story... They gave away some of the story plots in the Visions from this movie and Batman vs Superman movie, basically Lois is pregnant and she is killed which in his grief turns Superman into a dictator who decides he can rule the earth better than man and executes all criminals. It seems Darkseid takes advantage of this and manipulates Superman. As you saw in the last vision Bruce has, it basically turns into another Batman vs Superman movie, with some of the heroes backing Superman while the others side with Batman. As for which I prefer, Marvel or DC? I like them all...

McShades

sadly, most of those movies on that list are not really worth reacting too... Maybe watching them off screen if you wanted to but even then... meh... A couple of them are pretty good though but only a couple lol.

LukeG84

I disagree. Cassie needs to watch everything on the channel! 😂

Scott Macaulay

Yikes. I always enjoy watching you two if not the movie. I think before there was ‘AI slop’ there was ‘CGI slop’ and this movie was king of it lol. I yawned out but listened to your reactions while I played a game.

Stephen Dias

Cassie does a little dance every time Wonder Woman's theme plays. 😆 Can't say I blame her; it's a great theme. It's been a while since I've seen Joss Whedon's theatrical cut of this movie. As I recall, it was okay... Snyder's vision, although, yes, a lot longer and complex, is so much better. It's a shame that we won't see more. I feel bad that everyone got their own movie, except Cyborg. Yes, you get a glimpse of a Green Lantern at about 1:02:49 into the movie. My first thought was, "is that Abin Sur?" Apparently, he's Yalan Gur, who predated the Golden Age Green Lantern, Alan Scott. Go figure. As I was watching this, it occurred to me that Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller and Jared Leto all also appeared in "Suicide Squad." I'd blocked that movie from my memory. I guess that means they're in the same universe? Yikes.

Jayson Phillips

You two should watch THE RIP with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck on Netflix, it's such a good movie!!

VOCFM

I didn't know you could add to an already posted video

Dean Holt

Thought this was an ok movie, but it always annoys me a little that it’s shot in 4:3. Another issue I have with some of the DCEU films was they expect their audience to know who everyone is and sometimes assume you’ve read the comics as well. - But this really could have been done in 3 hours easily, as it was pointless seeing Luthor escape, the dream sequence with the Joker and they didn’t need the parts with Martian Manhunter, cut that & you save 20 to 25 minutes. But I’ve always said WB rushed this out to try and catch up with Marvel. But it wasn’t necessarily they should have established all the characters first before that way this then could have been around 2hrs or they could have done a 3hr film and given us more Dark Side scenes. Regarding the other movies whether you watch them on the channel or not, I’d highly recommend Aquaman, Birds of Prey (it’s basically Deadpool with Margo Robbie) & even though it got a lot of hate I really liked The Flash.
