Edgar Gonzalez

We are back with GOT fan... Let's get into this reaction! ⚔️🗡🐉🛡

Ronnie

I really look forward to watch you watch Got e every Sunday night. It's the best.

JohnnyUtah

This is what I call must see reaction watching!

Andres Gaytan

An early release?! We have been blessed by the old gods and the new!

Obie Brown

Cassie is in binge mode!!

Bill Maurer

GoT AND Snyder's Justice League all in one evening !!!! Too much but I will make time

VOCFM

On a Saturday?? Shooooootletssgoooooo Also this will never be confirmed, but the theory/educated implication that Robin Arryn is totally Littlefinger's bastard from that night Lysa reminds him of has to be true. No way the CHAD Jon Arryn would produce that "girl with palsy".

Obie Brown

Cassies horror when she realized where Sansa was going.....same.

Kawaii Leonard

32:00 One of the rare scenes from the books this season. Needle wasn't just a sword Jon made made for her but the representation of her family. Always liked this scene on the show. From the books: “It’s just a sword,” she said, aloud this time . . . . . . but it wasn’t. Needle was Robb and Bran and Rickon, her mother and her father, even Sansa. Needle was Winterfell’s grey walls, and the laughter of its people. Needle was the summer snows, Old Nan’s stories, the heart tree with its red leaves and scary face, the warm earthy smell of the glass gardens, the sound of the north wind rattling the shutters of her room. Needle was Jon Snow’s smile. He used to mess my hair and call me “little sister,” she remembered, and suddenly there were tears in her eyes.

Obie Brown

Not Cassie checking the "next on Game Of Thrones" teaser after episode 4! haha, she is locked in....some quality reactions coming this season. :O

Obie Brown

While Tv is another medium, Maisie's acting and the beautiful music conveyed the same emotion, so good.

Michael West

Great reaction!! Season 5 has some great episodes.

Zach

Awesome!! another 2 episodes in less then a week, thanks !!! Cassies hooked! The shows ramping up.. ppl from far away are starting to meet... Wait til the next few seasons Cassie it gets just as awesome in that regard.

Andres Gaytan

Littlefinger did love Catelyn but he only cares about himself and how best to utilize a situation to his advantage. He was also wrong in one instance; the Targaryens weren't the most powerful dynasty the world has ever known. That Would be House Balaerys of the Empire of Valyria who were more powerful (in wealth, influence, and sorcery) and had more Dragons than the Targaryens at their peak.

VOCFM

It is so stupid what they did to the greatest warrior Westeros has ever and will ever see in the grungy allies of some piss off country

MacGuffinStuff

Oh BTW, Holy Molly Ringwald! 500 thousand subscribers!!! You could start your own country, it would be small, probably an island or enclave, but I'd move there. Congratulations!!!

DavidJPL

I'm scared.... I feel like we need to have some paramedics or something on standby for Cassie!?!

Brian Sheely

Congratulations on 500k. I just so happen to subscribe to the 2 best movie/TV show reactors. Obviously, you're 1 of the 2.

Tyler Lathrop

We have been blessed with an early release!

Night King01

Especially since the actor himself was dissapointed. He was one of the few actors on the show who was a fan of the book series from back when it first came out and Ser Barristan is still alive in the book and a major part of Daenerys story. I feel for him since he got taken out by literal nobody’s.

Daniel John

Man...Its crazy how little I remember from the start of this season. I binged it all before the last season. You can start to feel it shakey here. Glad Cassie dug it...but revisiting it I can see the cracks morr clearly with a different perspective. Glad I'm finally rewatching.

Nick Skelton

getting even more hooked in now.

Ike

Wow, I forget how fantastic the acting is in this show. I’m not positive, but I think the already wonderful score has even improved and made older ones like the theme for Winterfell soulful. It - just - keeps - getting - better!

Burger On Couch

Perfect timing with this weather we're having!

Stan the Man

I wonder if Cassie makes it past this season. This season was incredibly controversial & very hard to rewatch.

Clay F

Cassie will complete the series. There have been dire predictions or thoughts since S1 that Cassie may or would not it make past X -- but she continues. Stellar TV.

Clay F

Glad you love it. Excellent reaction, as usual. Sansa at Winterfell to marry Ramsay weighs heavy on your mind – preoccupies you. Agree for her no good reason to marry Ramsay. Sansa should have called Littlefinger’s bluff and accepted his offer to take her back. Sansa should put on her leather pants and get to a House/castle (not The Eyrie) in North loyal to Starks.

Clay F

Davos made sense. Agree wished swayed Jon. A good way for Jon to be “shield that guards the realms of men” per his NW oath is to rid Winterfell of Lord Bolton. Not about becoming involved in politics but instead protecting men of the North. Tywin would not have put up w/that crap from religious fanatics (sparrows). Tywin would have kicked the fanatics out of the city, imprisoned them, executed them ...

VOCFM

Exactly. It's a total character assassination.

Clarence Newman

I like Aidan Gillen as an actor. He plays such a perfect slimeball. He's great in The Wire too (although a tad less slimy.)

MertzRocks

I wanna say something about another big X, but this is already too much...

Mad World

Love it Mrs. Popcorn i love being back in Westeros and congrats on the 500k subs :)

2-Can

That reasoning would justify any intervention by the NW in the south - which means that it is no justification at all. And Tywin would not have empowered the Sparrows in the first place - this was short-term consequence-free strategizing by Cersei to satisfy her immediate need to get Loras and harm Margaery. The Sparrows arose throughout Westeros to fill the void of order left by the multiple wars, but Cersei gave them official recognition.

Clay F

Not any intervention in the South but an intervention in the North to protect the men of the North, as explained by Davos. Agree that Tywin would not have empower the Sparrows.

Stan the Man

I think there are a few X’s in season 5 that might cross a line with her. I always thought if any season would break her it would be 5.

bknsty14

I feel like these last couple episodes is where the show really starts to deviate from the books and become a completely separate story. So much of what happened in the books is changed from this point on and unfortunately, not for the better. The last episode alone is like two completely different stories. Oh well, at least people find them entertaining. They haven't gotten to the point of infuriatingly bad yet.

Bill Maurer

I live in ☀️☀️ Phoenix Arizona ...

Clay F

I thought the writers did excellent in their adaptation (not duplication) of the books. Entertaining. Stellar TV.

Uncle Phoenix

I am really loving these reaction videos to GoTs. So Good.

Clay F

Ditto

Vak

One of your points (I won't mention which) crosses the "what's happened to this point" into "future episode spoiler" territory. We're all friends of Cassie here; could you possibly edit that out?

Vak

Sooooo many possible areas in these two episodes on which to comment, so I'll pick one that's particularly Cassie-friendly - about well-written characters, and spoiler-free. So: Despite the fact that they're two of my favorite characters, I like the fact that Tyrion and Jorah are introduced on a VERY antagonistic basis. And it's immediately compelling because they're honestly not that different at this point - The Banished Knight and The Banished Advisor. And both have so much integrity (on this show, that's something that's against all odds) that they're staying true to who they are, despite their current circumstances. Ignoring the eventual fates of particular characters, and their personal histories be damned, if I somehow became ruler of the Seven Kingdoms sometime around Season 3-4 (yeah, I know, but it was wartime, work with me here), both of them would be on my Small Council. Also Varys. Certainly no Littlefinger or Pycelle. Possibly promoting the High Sparrow to High Septon (without arming the impromptu army of zealots, because, Cersei, you're certainly outrunning your strategic ability here, which invites chaos AT BEST) and bringing him in as well. He's a solid guy, honestly.

Vak

Oxygen mask, a paper bag for possible hyperventilation, and a double shot of some kind of hard liquor for the most dire emergencies. It's Cassie, so I'm thinking Canadian whiskey may work.

Mark White

Cassie, I know you don’t tend to read GoT comment sections, but I just wanted to say I’m absolutely loving going on this journey with you. I’m just as hooked as you are and can’t wait for the next episode. This is one of the few times I’ve had to really stop myself from carrying on without you to the next episode! But I never would, I’m determined to carry on with you till the end. You said Barristan is just resting, I’m not so sure!! He took a couple of bad blows! I think grey worm will be ok though. Like you, I’m really worried about Sansa, if Ramsey hurts her I’m done!! Can’t wait for next week!!!!

Kit Taylor

You're the best Cassie. Having a blast.

aarswft

Roose killed Robb. The Frey's killed Catelyn.

SeanATX

Love the weekly GoT reactions! I also love Jonathan Pryce, and despite issues, I remain a fan of the later seasons of GoT, but the High Sparrow is the most boring major character in the show, IMO.

Philip Alan

It's my first time watching GOT and I HAVE to watch ahead to know what's coming for Cassie. It's a MUST!

Philip Alan

Shhhhhh, no anticipation spoilers please!!

Mark White

I did think about doing it your way Philip from the start, but watching the full length twice didn’t appeal to me. I’ve really gotten to enjoy watching it along with Cassie.

Obie Brown

Some changes are good, others not so much. But they were running out of source material quickly. and here we are over a decade after it aired and still no new books.

bknsty14

I am still holding out hope that he finishes the books. And they are not the same as the show. As far as I’m concerned, anything that happens after the book material ran out is not cannon. I’ve spent hours watching reviews of the final seasons of GoT and the farther people dive into the episodes, the more I realize how poorly written they really are. And how little sense they make. Dave and Dan truly had no idea how to write these characters.

Cole Jennett

Be careful Mark. I respect that you have the discipline to keep her pace, but the comment section is still full of hints and in my opinion spoilers.

JohnnyUtah

Listen you can't just come in hot right to the music when you press play! I'm used to waiting about a minute for you to watch the recap 😅

Mark White

Yeah, I’m trying not to spoil it for myself Cole. But, after that ending, it was hard, like Cassie, to not peak forward. I was quite surprised when Cassie was looking to see if there was a “what’s happens in the next episode” was available! But I don’t blame her. I’ve actually tried not to read many of the GoT comments, so I don’t get any spoilers. Thanks for looking out for me.

Cole Jennett

I wish she’d skip the recaps. We don’t get them in Canada anyways, lol. She even commented last week about seeing something coming by what was in the recap.

JohnnyUtah

I know I have the 4k steelbooks so I don't need to mess around. Lol

Clay F

Cole -- I understand your point -- she is keen/perceptive on that. I think the recaps are helpful by reminding her of context and in orienting her while she is bombarded with info in the episode.

JohnnyUtah

I totally get that, I've seen the series 10x so I just don't need it. Lol

Kiss the Librarian

Yeah, honestly wouldn't blame her if she calls it. Hope not because spoilers, but I'd get it.

Clarence Newman

Sometimes, Cassie drops a comment or two that reminds me how deeply invested she is into GoT. The second one here was when she said that "Joffry was tame compared to Ramsey" (quite a statement given what she thought of Joffry), but the biggie came earlier when she first realised Littlefinger was going to marry Sansa to Ramsey. Not content with "I would rather die than marry Ramsey", Cassie's comment was "I would rather die than SEE SANSA marry Ramsey." That's some serious character investment.

Clay F

“Stay Sam. Don’t close that door. Ugh. … Don’t you [Melisandre] dare take off your clothes. … I knew it, she loves taking off her clothes. Jon, resist. Please. Please Jon. Please, I can’t. Jon. … Please resist. Please resist. … Remember your vows? Your vows. … Please, no. Push her off [push off hand movement].” Outro: “Thank heaven he [Jon] resisted that devil woman. Thank heavens. I knew he would. But he faltered for a second.” Jon being seemingly initially partially tempted by Melisandre for a minute or so got to you = you were animated. Jon very briefly cupping her naked breast was a low point. Also, when their faces/lips got close for an instant. But Jon resisted.

Rick Williams

Sansa is in deep trouble being left with those nasty people by herself. Gray Worm & Barristan are wounded. Will they survive? Gary Worm is young. He has the best chance. It may have been best if Jon had given in to the Devil Woman as you call her. I prefer to call her the Red Witch. But she could come in handy if she thinks she can control Jon. But Jon is too honest to play along and use her. It was not smart to arm the religious fanatics. Fanatics are hard to use and control. Cersei is too desperate to keep power, and I think this is a bad move. Great Reaction, Cassie.

Above Average Dave

OK, just finished this and: 1) CONGRATULATIONS on the 500,000 followers! Amazing achievement! 2) Did Cassie drop her first articulated F-bomb during her reaction at the end of Episode 5/3 when she said "the F-ing Boltons!" I feel like there was one during POLTERGEIST, but it was covered with a blanket. Cole, can you confirm or deny on this for Episode 5/3" ADDED: I've long theorized that Cassie is a semi-liberal/when appropriate user of invective away from the Channel. I'm not saying she's up there with the members of a Ranger Team using the F-Bombs like most people draw and exhale breaths, but I have to believe at book club and with general frustrations, the cussing flows like Diet Coke. 🤣 That said, she had me at "Oh my gosh!"

Cole Jennett

It definitely sounded like it, but if she had, she would have caught herself immediately, because it’s just not in her actual vocabulary to say it. It was a frickin that sounded like an f bomb

Above Average Dave

Understood, and my faith in all that is good in the world is fetching restored. 😀😀😀

IregretNOTjumping

I know it's coming Cassie, but please hurry up... We can't wait for 5-6!

Cole Jennett

It would probably shatter my entire world if she ever actually did, lol.

Above Average Dave

Same.I had to replay that part three times before I asked.

LukeG84

Finally found the time to watch these latest two episodes, and oh boy, what a couple of episodes they were. I so can't wait for the next couple of episodes to see what happens next with all these storylines, especially with how Daenerys is going to react to this attack on her people.

DAVID COSTELLO

Loved the horrifying realization that Sansa is marrying Ramsay

Bruce Hutton

Great reactions, Cassie. I love your Ick at the Bolton's, hap- piness @ Pod, joy & happiness @ Arya, & the cross @ the Red lady!
