Hi friends,

how is everyone doing? collective sigh* Is it really already and only Wednesday Thursday? It’s been a draining week in a lot of ways-overwhelming a bit. I’m more than grateful for this sweet corner of the internet.

This week on Patreon we have more GOT, more Justice League and more Clint! What more could you ask for? Don’t answer that-the list would be a mile I know ;)

Did you see the YT poll based off Patreon Request lists? "Paul" was a hot debated movie it seems! Fistful of our dollars was our winner and will be watched-should I watch our alien runner up as well? They are my buddies afterall-the cornetto buds right?

Also did you see the new pollception? I don't know why I didn't realize sci-fi would be the far away winner but I will be doing the top 2 polls in the next coming weeks. Thanks for all your awesome comments and suggestions for what to add to those as well!

Thanks for watching along with me for our Extra Butter Live-numb butts or not, it was great! We are putting both parts together as we speak-4 hours is a long processing time but its on its way! (Justice League part 1 YT edit will go on YT today as well) and psst. GOT 5&6 will be up tonight too.

Only a couple more days to enter January's Pick a Flick! We will do the drawing the first week of February! You can enter right here-FAQ's should all be updated with how to do it!

Wanted you to save the date for the 5th Annual POPPIES. Still tentatively-but pretty strong tentatively March 21st.

I want to do another YT LIVE though in February where we do packages and things! Could be fun?

Have a great weekend friends-be kind and get your pets neutered or spayed ;)

Cassie

I honestly don’t think Paul is worth it, but you’d still have a fun time I think

Joshua Campbell

Awesome, Justice League Snyder Cut 1&2 & another Clint Eastwood movie 👏.

Bryan Erickson

Paul is a fun movie. Always fun to watch Nick Frost and Simon Pegg team up. Hope you watch For A Few Dollars More after Fistful Of Dollars.

Cole Jennett

Love the “Price is Right” sendoff Rod Roddie😂

Collar City Guy

IMHO, yes you should watch Paul I found it to be pretty amusing movie, and you could do a live every month and they'll be entertaining so the more the merrier!!

Schmidty

Paul is silly. But I guess worth a watch. A lot of Jabs at Christianity which i wasnt a fan of.

Andrew

Thanks for the update and I love Henery Cavil but that four hour run time is a little to long for me. :)

Stick Figure Studios

Since I already caught The second half of ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE during the live watch along, the reaction I am most looking forward to this week is FISTFUL OF DOLLARS. I think you will like it. It is a great spaghetti Western. Incidentally, since you have already seen the third entry in the Dollars trilogy (THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY) and you have said you want to watch more Great Westerns this year, might I suggest just biting the bullet and watching the sequel FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE. It's very good and some even consider it the best of the three. You can certainly watch PAUL If you want to, but in spite of the immense talent and pedigree of those involved both in front of and behind the camera, I think it is a terrible movie, so I would not recommend it. If it does get a reaction, I will most likely skip it. Really curious to see what the pick a flick winner is this month. As always keep up the good work. :-)

Just Plain Bob

100% Cassie should also react to Paul. She would LOVE it. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are best friends in real life and it shows. The movie is fun, bright, funny and filled with warmth and good vibes. Possibly my favorite road trip movie not named Vacation. And while she’s at it, this would be a good time for World’s Fastest Indian. Call it Happy Vibes Week.

Richard Maurer

Paul is a pretty good movie, wouldn’t mind it. Glad to see ‘Jesse James’ is getting a YouTube edit.

Above Average Dave

I just looked at the calendar and saw it's the 29th!(?)! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!? The year is nearly over! (translation: I feel your week/month, Cassie). This is such a fun list! Thank you! Hope you're feeling better!

FranciscoGios

The Spaghetti Westerns are unique and pretty good Cassie 👍

Christian Becker

Uhh, nice things to come. About “Should You Watch Paul?” - personally, I thought it was a nice movie. Would I say it is an absolute “must watch”? No. But it is fun enough to have a good time.

ArsTropica

PaF now carries over the pick from the previous month. Nice feature.

Dean Holt

Imo, I’d definitely recommend watching Paul. it’s an excellent comedy and unless you don’t like Sci-Fi or the other films Pegg & Frost are in. I honestly don’t get why some people dislike it. One little suggestion with the Super Bowl incoming I’d recommend watching Any Given Sunday.

Gray

Yeah watch Paul why not seems like it has an audience on YT at least ( I have no memory of when i watched it to say whether it was good or not) GoT tonight is fantastic, i'll have to put the Jesse James watch at a later date then not enough hours in the day for both 😂.

Clay F

I watched the JL Part 2 reaction live. GoT tonight is great. Looking forward to more Clint with A Fistfull of Dollars. I am ambivalent about Paul. Looking forward to the PAF drawing next week, the YT LIVE (packages and things) in February, and the Poppies in March.

Mike Redford

I've never seen paul, but i wouldn't mind it getting a react since the pegg/frost duo usually gets me laughing. I was glad to see fistful of dollars win a poll if for no other reason than I know you're a fan of clint, cassie lol. More GOT, always a treat 👍

Gábor Árki

Does someone know when I need to be a patron in order to participate in PaF? Throughout the month, or at the time of the drawing? I won't be staying as a permanent patron starting from February 1st, but it would be nice to know the rules around this if or when I return for a month, pending on the movies reacted to.

Jake McNulty

Sure you could watch "Paul" if you'd like. And hopefully afterwards you might consider finishing the Cornetto Trilogy by watching "The World's End". Also, since you're going to be watching "A Fistful of Dollars", I think a much more appropriate follow up would be "For A Few Dollars More".

Mark White

Hey Cassie, pleaseeeee watch “PAUL” it’s one of mine and Lucy’s fav comedies. Yes it is your HOT FUZZ duo, but it’s not part of the Cornetto Trilogy. The Cornetto Trilogy is: Shaun of the dead Hot Fuzz The Worlds End The difference is Edgar Wright. He along with Simon Pegg wrote the trilogy. Where as PAUL is written by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The trilogy are purely British and all set in the UK. Where as PAUL has a more American feel to it. I really hope you watch it. It’s a good laugh and there are quite a few nods to sci- fi movies.

shaneth138

Pleaasssseee watch Paul! You will have so much fun with it!!

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

Please do a YT Live package opening in February, Cassie. Now that you've seen three classic Stanley Kubrick movies, I want to post you something in relation to ALL of his movies. I don't want to say what it is until you open the package!

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

I know I've mentioned this before but I want to mention it again: I've noticed this past week on Instagram that numerous old friends of the late, great actor, Alan Rickman, have been paying tribute to him because it is now exactly 10 years since he died. I thought I'd share this wonderful music video that he did with the band, Texas, in 2000. It's a great song with a great dance in it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4-gNN8WRHo&list=RDX4-gNN8WRHo&start_radio=1

Joe J

Cassie, because you own the channel, this time we are going to let you watch "Paul"...but let's not make a habit of this kind of thing...😆😆😆.

Catherine LW

Thanks for the heads up. I don’t have time for that nonsense.

Gray

You'd need to submit before the 1st of Feb to be in this months live draw which would probably be next week. You can enter for next months on the 1st of Feb and change your pick anyday til the end of the month.

Byrd N. Hand

I'd much rather watch reactions to "This Is Spinal Tap" and "Dr. Strangelove" than "Paul." 🤷‍♂️

Chris

I'm just now making the connection that Pick-A-Flick shares some connective tissue with "Pick Flick," a slogan for a campaign in Election (1999). Apropos of nothing.

Kristin

She hasn't seen Spinal Tap? OMG! I'd love that!

Stick Figure Studios

I agree with him that each movie is superior to its predecessor, but disagree that it's the only trilogy where that's the case. I would also add TOY STORY and BEFORE SUNRISE / SUNSET / MIDNIGHT.

Kawaii Leonard

World's End is actually my favourite of the Cornetto trilogy. I hope she finishes it too.

Milton Reduxed

Any Seth Rogen movie is a hard-no from me If you want more Frost/Pegg then part 3 of the Cornetto Trilogy The World's End is still to be watched

Milton Reduxed

Cassie did say in the comments once you only have to be a member at the time of nomination, not the drawing. But I don't know if that's absolutely definitive

Clay F

I like Knocked Up.

Mark White

It is a kind thing of you Joe! I feel Cassie should reciprocate by reacting to “Under Siege” for you.

Byrd N. Hand

It's arguably a tetralogy if you include "Once Upon a Time in the West" (it just has Charles Bronson instead of Clint Eastwood).

Clay F

I am no expert but based on entertainment value for me personally, I like A Fistful of Dollars (1964) better than The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966). I am hoping Cassie will too. Plus, she has evolved since reacting to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Mark White

I’m one of those few Stick. I think it’s a close shave but , A few Dollars more is my favourite. PAUL…..oh Boy! You and me are on a different page sometimes!

Stick Figure Studios

For me, it's a trilogy that starts out good and just gets better with each entry. GBU is my favorite. And I realize I'm probably in the minority on PAUL, but I Just did not like that movie at all, though I won't go into why.

Shehab Dawoud

I dont know, it feels a bit weird to watch For A Fistful of Dollars when you already watched the third movie in the series. It’s like, what’s the point? I would’ve preferred another movie in there. Looking forward to JL Part 2. Hope you’ll watch The Flash (2023) after.

Zachery Dewey

Hey Cassie I'm doing good how are you

Shehab Dawoud

The 2nd in the poll is Robin Williams. Instead of doing a poll, I suggest watching these two films: Awakenings (1990) and Insomnia (2002). He really showcases his range in these two films, going up against the two greatest actors of their generation, De Niro in Awakenings and Pacino in Insomnia.

Gray

Yeah perhaps it's changed since it migrated to the other site, just saw someone submitted Eurotrip. Now that would be a reaction hahaha

Mike Lemon

Zach and Miri Make a Porno (2008) was pretty good if you're into the chick-flick genre.

Mark White

If we were all the same, the world would be a boring place.

Clay F

Henry Cavill in the reboot of HIGHLANDER, currently in production. Directed by “John Wick” filmmaker Chad Stahelski. Cavill released two images and said: “Happy First Look for Highlander! This has been quite the journey for me, which I’ll tell you all about when the time is right, but it’s a special moment."

shaneth138

We get it. You don’t like Seth Rogen. You’re in the vast minority no matter how many comments you’re going to make about him.

Cole Jennett

I know it won’t do great, but I would bet money that Nine Months would have done better on YouTube than this one will.

shaneth138

There aren’t jabs at Christianity. There are jabs at Christian fanatics that reject modern science and rely on praying away sickness instead of getting treated by professional doctors. The characters believe in science instead of religion, so if that’s a jab at Christianity to you then I don’t know what to tell you.

Sophie Klatt

I really enjoyed Long Shot with Seth and Charlize Theron. Funny and poignant

Stick Figure Studios

@shaneth138: I'm guessing you're new here because you clearly don't know me well at all. If you did you would realize that is a very unfair characterization of my movie tastes. Ask anyone else here who actually does know me and they'll tell you I love lots of films from every decade (including the last four). Still, I'm guessing you had to form your uncharitable assumption about me based on something, so I'm curious: what specific movies newer than 40 years old do I hate that led you to that inaccurate conclusion?

Tyler Foster

Normally I try to be positive, but since you asked point blank, my personal opinion is that Paul has aged like milk and that it would be much preferable for you to finish the Cornetto Trilogy. I suspect the lowbrow and crude humor of Paul will not be your favorite. Nothing against Rogen, like some of the other commenters, and of course Pegg and Frost are great, but Paul should probably stay behind in 2011 for many reasons. Among the runners up, I'd much rather see Spinal Tap.

Tyler Foster

I always theorized that the third movie is actually the chronological first. I didn't know there was an answer, but someone in the discord said Leone stated this outright at some point, so 3 > 1 > 2 is apparently the technically correct order. (The key sign that GBU is the first is he receives the poncho he wears in all three during that movie.)

Dean Holt

Milton, It’s fine if you don’t like him. Personally I’m not a massive fan either. But it’s been written by Pegg & Frost, so it’s similar style comedy to their other films imo. Also really liked all the Easter eggs from all the other Sci-Fi movies they included. As I’ve said I just think it’s fun film not to be taken too seriously.

Dean Holt

Seen Paul quite a few times and if you like there other movies you should enjoy it. Also if you’re a Sci-Fi nerd you’ll really love it for all the Easter eggs

Mike Lemon

If it doesn't have a Frenchman playing a Scot and a Scot playing an Egyptian serving the Spanish Court it isn't Highlander to me.

Mark White

Hi Cassie, a collective sigh most definitely. Last week my wife finally got a diagnoses for her constant medical issues, which is good news. But the bad news was there is no cure. It’s not life threatening, just means she will most likely never work again. It’s been tough watching my Lucy going through this. But now we must look forward. It may not be the life we expected together, but it’s still life and we will make the most of it. We still have alot to be thankful for. Another great week ahead. I feel a fistful of dollars is not a Cassie type of western. (I hope you prove me wrong) Nothing like Silverado or Tombstone, but I personally love the Dollars trilogy. So I hope you watch the sequel, A few dollars more, at some point, it’s probably my favourite. I CAN NOT WAIT for GoT! I never thought I would get into it so much. I’ve already mentioned PAUL below. A big favourite for Lucy and myself. Also JL should be a good watch as well. PaF to look forward too and package opening as well as the build up to the poppies. All very exciting. As February is around the corner and you do like a romance (a genre not really my cup of tea!) I shall recommend one of the few I have watched “Cocktail” 1988 with Tom Cruise. I think you may like it. I hope your week ahead is more chilled out. You are the best ❤️ P.s Lucy sez “Sense and Sensibility” 1995 would be a great movie for Valentine’s Day.

Stick Figure Studios

I also dislike PAUL intensely, but that appears to be a minority opinion around here as lots of people seem to love it. I would also rather see her finish the Coronado trilogy or watch one of the other two titles on the poll (DR STRANGELOVE or SPINAL TAP).

Stick Figure Studios

That used to be my theory as well, although it can also be a bit depressing because the amount of money he gets at the end of GBU should have him set for life and yet he's back to bounty hunting shortly thereafter, so one wonders how he lost it all. I ultimately concluded that it's really more a trilogy of theme than it is of narrative or character continuity. I don't believe that the gunslinger that Clint Eastwood plays is supposed to be the same person in all three movies anymore.

Shehab Dawoud

I haven’t seen them in forever. I just find it redundant. That also has to do with the fact that I don’t really like westerns or Eastwood.

Tyler Foster

I liked it in 2011, even if I thought it was lesser-than compared to the Cornetto movies. I rewatched it a couple of years ago and was shocked at how unpleasant many of the jokes are. Not that the movie can't be crude or R-rated (all of the Cornetto movies are!), but the way that film goes about it is not appealing (although I'll refrain from specifics in case she does watch it).

Milton Reduxed

@Shane, Sorry I made 2 comments about Seth Rogen (now 3). I didn't realise there was a limit or you had been deputised to police the anti-Rogen rhetoric

Chris Thom

Ooh just got my Pick a Flick maybe.

Chris Thom

Hate to be the bearer of past prom proms (or maybe I love it, one of those). But the mythical Trek Vlog! and The Hollywood Bow concert. And the Rocky Steps! You did promise at one point, if I remember right? If you end up spotting a neat filming location in NYC or Central Park on your trip, that could also be fun to see! Yeah just now internalizing your 'what more could you ask for' quip. We can probably be a tad demanding, truth be told. But I also honestly think vlogging could be a big hit for your channel, and genuinely fun to watch. Also if you ever go back to Disneyland in Anaheim, a studio tour in Hollywood could be interesting.

Chris Thom

Carly was fighting back some yawns, for sure.

Mark White

Ignore it stick, i think you are a top dude. 😎 and I like your taste in movies. Your favourite movies remind me of my mate at university he was studying film and TV. He had to watch Citizen Kane as part of his studies.

Chris Thom

Would LOTR fit that bill?

Chris Thom

Dewey is such a rad name. Deputy Dewey is especially fun to say.

Mark White

Yes please to all, especially the Trek Vlog!

K, Zachary

Dear Cassie, Carly and the rest of the PIB family and the rest of the Cassie's viewers. About Last Week: So we did finish The Justice League all four hours of it, last night. We loved their reaction to it. Eva ( my gf) loves it when she has a Cassie movie to watch when she gets home at night. Tonight it's the Assassination Of Jesse James. We didn't watch GOT because we decided to binge.... The Week Ahead: So one this weeks episodes of GOT The Unbowed Unbent Unbroken episode. We are skipping. We skipped the Red Wedding also. This one hits too close to home for both of us. That's all I am allowed to say. The Red Wedding got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes this one got less. Again I was warned repeatedly about ruining this for Cassie. Not even the link to the Rotten Tomatoes score. I can't say anymore. I really hate getting those stares from my gf you know those Grogu stares. Anyway we do get the start of The Dollars Trilogy. Which we own. Which we both love all those movies. Please watch Cassie react to The Good The Bad The Ugly. Song Of The Week: You know Sharon Tate would have turned 83 last Saturday. However today is my cousin's b-day (to meet him and his adorable wife look up Cobble Hill The Restaurant) In honor of his 46th birthday. It's hard to pick a song ahhh I got one. From their L.A. Woman album here is The Doors with L.A Woman https://youtu.be/TMiAQPABgHA?si=M5cgtP78HXez6WWb

Chris Thom

I don't know if she has a mental block about them, or if they're hard to edit, or what. But I know she films them. And then they languish in obscurity for some reason. Would bet they could be a big boon for the channel business.

Stick Figure Studios

Thanks. I love CITIZEN KANE. It was one of my five submissions when I won trivia night and I pick it every month as my pick a flick suggestion.

Alex Gorell

I mean we are still waiting on the Phill vlog from years ago 🤣🤣

Joe J

Curious, what happened to the YT poll winner "Earth Girls are Easy"?

Dean Holt

Wow, really surprised on how split people are on Paul. I get comedy is very subjective but I just thought it was a really fun movie, that has lots of nods to other sci-fi movies. Personally hope it gets a watch even though I’ve seen it a few weeks ago on the Media Knights channel, I honestly think it will be worth it as the views they have on YouTube is currently at 249k.

Cole Jennett

I watched it once, and didn’t particularly enjoy it like I thought I would, but I have no issue with her watching it. I’m willing to give it another go. Maybe I wasn’t in a good mood that day, who knows?

Cole Jennett

Gentlemen’s bet then, lol. Not sure we will ever get a result though.

Tyler Foster

@Stick Figure - My headcanon (which is a bit vague to avoid spoilers) is that after GBU, he loses the money, continuing to live the outlaw lifestyle. Maybe he gets robbed, maybe he gambles it away, but he loses it. In Fistful, while he enters the film in with the same mentality as GBU, over the course of the story, his outlook on the world shifts away from being such a mercenary. Finally, in Few, he comes into a situation that has echoes of the scenario he found himself in back in GBU, complete with a guy who (whether or not this matters in-universe or just to the viewer) is like the yin to the yang of the evil man from that story, like the Good Twin versus the Evil Twin. Since the series ends with Few, I would conclude that lessons were learned during the unseen post-GBU, pre-Fistful adventures, and as such, this time, there's no more story to tell.

Steve Holton

Sad to hear that news, Mark. Wish the best for you and Lucy. Your positive attitude is inspiring. 👍

Steve Holton

Lol, Mike. Hope the sequel has at least a cameo from a man from Urbana, Clancy Brown.

keoma songs

Fistful of Dollars might be my favorite Leone movie, probably because it's the leanest. He would go on to go overboard as the movies became longer and longer and longer with more and more padding.

Gray

haha same but i'd be surprised if it makes back the editing cost.

Chris Thom

Oh right, she also had a Silver linings Playbook location with the stadium. Forgot about that one.

Just Plain Bob

Some of us are still waiting for “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”

Chris Thom

And another DC movie that shall not be named. I don't want Richard to pounce.

Richard Maurer

Don’t You Dare Say It’s Name!!!!!!

Clay F

Stick - I am not so sure you are the minority position. Will Cassie appreciate or find tiring the wall-to-wall pop references in Paul?

Richard Maurer

Mark - sorry to hear that. Hoping things turn around for you.

Richard Maurer

I actually liked it more the second time I saw it. I love unpleasant jokes!

Clay F

Yeah, many don't seem fond of Paul (2011). I am ambivalent.

Dean Holt

Cole Completely fine with you not being a fan, comedy is maybe the most subjective genre. There’s a number of very popular movies than am not a fan of like Bridesmaids and Blazing Saddles. But if you do like their other movies I’d maybe recommend giving it another shot.

Anthony Carlson

Sorry to hear that Mark. Hope things don’t get too rough.

Dean Holt

Clay Knowing that we often don’t agree on movies lol. It might be one you might not like. If you enjoyed Frost & Peggs other comedy’s you might like it. But it might be one that’s worth Cassie watching as some other reactors have 100k plus views on YT and as I’ve said The Media Knights have 249k views.

Tyler Foster

I mean, to each their own. In this case, it's not really that *I* don't like it, but that I also can't see Cassie enjoying much of that stuff either (to be clear, I am thinking of specific jokes, but refraining from mentioning them to avoid spoiling anything for Cassie if she does watch it), even if she thinks the movie as a whole is okay.

Clay F

I like Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007). Haven't seen The World's End (2013). Agree that high YT views is good for the channel. I wonder if the wall-to-wall pop referencing in Paul would be a little much for Cassie. She did seem to really like Hot Fuzz.

Richard Maurer

Hope they come up with a better ending.

Mark White

Thanks Anthony, it shouldn’t get too rough I hope. It’s going to be about pain management. Lucy will be given Injections every three months, to give her pain relief, which will last about 3-4 weeks. At least there will be windows of time where she can get out and about. I’m sure we will adjust to it in time.

Canadianant

As to the Paul of it all , to me , t was ok but felt like less of the quick wit of hot fuzz and Shawn of the dead which I loved and more like the stoner comedies of Seth Rogen. I would have preferred if she would have finished out the coronetto trilogy with the world's end over Paul . That having been said I feel Paul would do well on YouTube for Cassie. To me, the real shame of the whole thing is that we're not getting a This is spinal tap reaction. Even if it might not be her cup of tea, I would have loved if that would have led into the Christopher guest of it all. Best in Show etc

Dean Holt

I liked Worlds End but I didn’t find it quite as good as the other two. But it’s still worth a watch. I think Cassie will miss a few of the references to the other movies. As I did on my first watch. But I do think she will like it as she enjoyed silly comedy before.

Brian's Dog

Eventually we will get down the Franco Nero and Klaus Kinski spaghetti westerns.

Cole Jennett

Just to be clear, I mean Jesse James, not Paul😉

Cole Jennett

I wonder if she maybe thought Spinal Tap was going to win that poll and that’s why Rob Reiner poll wasn’t on Pollception🧐

Richard Maurer

I figured that’s what you meant. It would have no chance against Paul.

Happy Hanukkah

Chiaro. After having reacted to the Spaghetti bookends (A Fistful of Dollars and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), Cassie will have no choice but to watch For a Few Dollars More*, following which she will feel compelled to delve into the Kinski westerns, culminating with the (south-) western Aguirre, the Wrath of God! * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuFMPI4CJTE

Canadianant

I thought it was going to win myself. Still time down the road I guess

Mike Lemon

Maybe a watch of Josee, The Tiger and the Fish (2020) to ... celebrate (? I couldn't think of a word without bad connotations).

Mike Lemon

@Richard- They did. It was called Highlander 3.

Ray Pennisi

What happened to the second collaboration between Cassie and Kat?

Mike Lemon

@Chris- No. Two Towers and Return are not sequels.

Mark White

Just had to look it up Mike, as I’ve never heard of it. Wow, that’s got some amazing reviews! I think that might have to be watched soon. Lucy’s brother has been asking us for ages to watch all sorts of anime as he is really into it. Thanks for the suggestion. It sounds like a movie Lucy will love.

Mark Vaderr

Cassie, I dare say that "Dr. Strangelove" is a movie that you need to put on your "avoiding list". Will your next package opening also be a 500k celebration event? Always looking forward to The Poppies. Just so you know, March 15th is when the tournament is announced for March Madness. Which is just a small gap for you to make your March Madness Bracket before the Poppies.

Uncle Phoenix

"I was in love once. Marriage is buying a house for someone you hate. Remember that.” — Russell Crowe (The Nice Guys)

Popcorn In Bed

i’ve been waiting for her to put it up on her patreon-should be this week

Gray

Why would she need to avoid Dr Strangelove, it's a classic i've watched it many times.

Rene G.

I'm sure it's non-horror stuff or still horror since Halloween is everyday on her end. :p

Rene G.

Clockwork orange should NOT be on the "avoided list" she needs that ol "ultra violence' made flesh. *Cackles*

Rene G.

In fact, clockwork orange should be part of march madness.

Mike Redford

I hope the soundtrack's good. It's tough to beat Queen

Milton Reduxed

We should have a poll to decide Cassie's next cross channel collaboration

Chris Thom

Apparently it's not Nightmare on Elm Street 2. That's all I know about it.

Mike Lemon

@Milton - That one is easy- Neuro-sama. "She" holds the top three hype-train spots on Twitch, I think she is the third most subbed Twitch streamer ever, and she brings the swarm. Here's her first time watch of Shrek- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkgw63HCm30

Vlad D

Yes watch Paul. You'll be happy you did

Clay F

Yeah, will be tough to beat Queen.

Gray

An AI anime character reactor is a new one on me. I'd say it's wishful thinking considering anime is the one genre she hasn't watched much of in the 5 years of the channel.

Mark Vaderr

I am referring to a post Cassie made earlier a few weeks back, where she stated that she should watch something from her "Movies I've been avoiding" list. Dr. Strangelove would fit that description.

prime78

My guess that it's King Kong by peter jackson. She said it had a famous line and it was on the longer side.

prime78

More comedies the better. A great channel for comedy reactions is Just Summ Reactions, just throwing that out there.

Clarence Newman

Sorry to hear that, Mark, but as long as you're together, there'll be plenty of good things left in life. From now on, it's about finding great moments that maybe you wouldn't have even looked for had this not happened. Maybe you'd have just trudged your way through life and let those opportunities pass you by. Me and Julie always try and keep in mind the best words anyone has ever said to me: "Enjoy the little things. Because someday you'll realise that the little things are actually the big things." Take care, mate.

Mike Lemon

@Gray- I think that is the only reaction "she" has done, she is a normal streamer (games, chatting, etc.), but really shines during collabs.

Mark White

Thanks mate, truer words were never spoken.

Clay F

Cassie rewatch/Carly first watch reactions: Good Will Hunting (1997) for the Robin Willams poll. Forrest Gump (1994) – 306k YT views Gladiator (2000) – 475k YT views

Daniel John

I'd rather see Shawshank...I mean it did start her channel. 😜

Clay F

Good suggestion.

Stick Figure Studios

@Schmidty: Yeah, that was a big part of why I didn't care for it.

Cole Jennett

Shawshank with Carly I could get on board with, but I would prefer to have her revisit a movie that has never been on the channel. I can already watch Shawshank with her.

Gray

My guess from the clues is Scarface which would be quite entertaining

Tyler Foster

It's not gonna be a huge view-getter but I'm still crossing my fingers for a What's Up Doc rewatch with Carly. Then the movie gets on the channel for the first time (and hopefully she'll drop the audio for the OG reaction as well).

It is actually *because* I like the Cornetto movies with Pegg and Frost (and their previous TV show collaboration "Spaced") that I think Paul feels half-baked by comparison. Nothing wrong with the concept or the spirit of it but the execution leaves plenty to be desired.

Gray

Shocked to hear Catherine O'Hara has just passed, she was in so many great movies and tv shows. I think LOUs2 was the most recent on the channel.

Dean Holt

That’s fair enough, personally I couldn’t get into Spaced, tried a few times but I like everything else I’ve seen with them both in.

Joe J

RIP. I forgot she was in LOUs2.

Clay F

She was good in Schitt's Creek

Richard Maurer

Cassie should never make assumptions about what’s going to win. She thinks her PPotM are going to be popular. Jk

Just Plain Bob

Mark, you and your undoubtedly lovely wife are in my thoughts. All the best to you both.

Just Plain Bob

I know it’ll never happen but I’d love a reaction to Spaced.

Above Average Dave

God bless, Mark. Your wife, you and your family are in my prayers. Stay strong.

I also suggested she finish the trilogy and just watch FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE.

Good Will Hunting (1997) [epic Robin Williams] fits nicely in the Robin Williams poll. I am all for a poll of candidates for a Cassie rewatch/Carly first watch reaction = Shawshank, What's Up Doc, etc. I would be curious of Carly's reaction to Shawshank (one of my favorite movies all time). Cassie wants to rewatch Moneyball (2011) she doesn't remember. Love that movie -- don't know if Carly has seen it. She included Moneyball (2011) rewatch in a baseball poll and came in 3rd (didn't stand a chance against Bad News Bears). I would also like Cassie to rewatch react to The Bourne Identity (2002) -- don't know if Carly has seen.

Clay F

2025 Poll - Moneyball 3rd 1. Bad News Bears (1976) – 29% 2. The Rookie (2002) – 17% 3. Moneyball (2011) ***rewatch – 13% 4. Trouble with the Curve (2012) – 10% 4. Eight Men Out (1988) – 10% 6. Mr. Baseball (1992) – 7% 7. Pride of the Yankees (1942) – 6% 8. 61* (2001) – 5% 9. The Perfect Game (2009) – 2% 10. Million Dollar Arm (2014) – 1% She doesn’t really remember Moneyball (2011) (awesome) = nom Best Picture Oscar, and Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill nom for Oscars. Above is poll last year that Moneyball (2011) ***rewatch finished 3rd place. I voted Moneyball (2011) ***rewatch. I think she did too.

Clay F

I would love a rewatch reaction to Bourne trilogy, which I think she wants to do. There are so many good movies out there she doesn't remember and would likely want to do a rewatch reaction (and could be a Carly first watch reaction). A rewatch reaction twice a year or once a quarter would be fine. I think if she wants to rewatch react to a movie she doesn’t remember once a quarter or twice a year, she should do it. Whatever gets her creative juices going.

Richard Maurer

I can’t think of anything I want less than a rewatch of the Bourne films. They were ok - once. I don’t need to watch another reaction to them.

Clay F

She indicated she would like to rewatch the Bourne films -- but i don't have the quote. Like I said, I think she should rewatch react to what she wants. That goes for films I am not a fan but just so happens every film she has mentioned she would like to rewatch I am a fan.

Richard Maurer

I don’t see a good reason to rewatch any film on the channel unless it’s to get views. Otherwise why not just watch it on your own time? So obviously they think it will get views, and they’re probably right.

Richard Maurer

Mike’s correct. Unlike a movie with sequels you can’t stop at Fellowship and have a complete story. Another version of this is Kill Bill Vol.1

Daniel John

Lol I'm sorry...I just think 500 years from now Shawshank will be our generation Sistene Chapel ceiling art contribution to humanity...if they can still watch movies. I dated this girl for a few months. Then broke up with her. But I feel like I won because I made her watch Shawshank 🤣 Plus Cassie didn't really know how to watch an actual good movie yet 🤣🤣. Love to see Carly's reaction and Cassie's now

So the Kat's (😏) finally out of the bag: it was "Scarface," huh? Also, I enjoyed Cassie's recent reaction to "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Poet Robert Frost." 😂
