Louis Chapman

Cassie, what's been your favorite superhero film so far?

Christian Becker

Oh boy, here we go. Snyder's Justice League again. Simply can't get enough… of Cassie :-)

Dominic Biondi

OMG why would you watch this dreck? It's one of the most boring, lifeless superhero movies ever. Just pure awfulness.

Christian Becker

BTW, did Cassie recognize (the actor playing) Roose Bolton? I think she likes him very much :D

Edgar Gonzalez

Its very difficult to make a good DC movie. Most of the Justices League are strong enough to survive Black Holes! They have to Dum down their powers otherwise. Still, i truly enjoyed this movie, mostly cause almost all the members of the justice league are in it.

Brent Petty

I am not a fan of one over the other. I just like individual characters: Iron Man, Batman, Punisher, etc.

Mike Lemon

There are lots of good Justice League movies- Dark, Doom, Flashpoint Paradox, Throne of Atlantis, War, Apokolips War, Crisis on Two Earths, Injustice...

Edgar Gonzalez

I wasn't referring to the animated ones...oh no, no I love those ones. 💪

Andrew

I love Henry Cavil as Superman and in general, but I really have never cared for the Snyder cut, the run time is unjustifiably four hours long and not paced well in my opinion. The theatrical version is beautiful with better pacing, the CGI looks better with a much more reasonable run time. I just feel like Zach Snyder over focuses and draws out scenes that don't need to be drawn out and it makes his films sometimes feel clunky and out of place. I will say I love the fact that Zach Snyder takes the characters and story seriously I just don't like his execution of the film this specific cut of the Justice League. I am a superman simp so I will watch anything with superman for the most part and really I will watch anything with Henry Cavil in it.

Mike Lemon

"I wasn't referring to the animated ones" I know, that is why I constantly point it out. Everybody automatically discounts animation and in doing so misses out on so many great movies. Look at how many animated movies have been watched here. It's what, 4 or 5 out of 800 YouTube videos.

aarswft

"Its very difficult to make a good DC movie" This is not true. It's simply difficult for bad directors to make good movies.

Edgar Gonzalez

No I've seen all of the animation ones. No, those ones don't hold back, which is what i love about them.

John Liebling

DC Comics always had better characters...up until recently the Marvel movies had a huge edge, it comes down to execution, and story development...now that the more recent Marvel movies have become a huge stinko...DC has a opportunity to make quality films...will they? That's yet to be decided.

Chris Thom

Curious if they'll bring back Darkseid for the new ones.

Chris Thom

Second that question. But she does seem to bring up Infinity War and Endgame up a lot, so that would be my guess.

Chris Thom

The shot of the Justice League standing on that ledge was pretty iconic. Snyder does know how to frame a shot.

Dustin Rumsey

Yeah, count me in the "um, why?" camp for this one 😅

Happy Hanukkah

Ah. So we've been granted half a League. Onward!

Happy Hanukkah

32:46 "What are your superpowers again?" "Me? I'm, I'm a planner. I make plans."

John A

Lmao your faces in the thumbnail are about what I expected

John A

I appreciated the darker more adult tones of DC compared to the Marvel crap, made it easier to watch as an adult rather than feeling like I needed to be 13 to like Marvel

John A

It'll be Lego Batman if she'd watch it

Richard Maurer

Editor: A word that someone should have said to Zack Snyder before he put this out.

Ace Degenerate

The Justice League Unlimited animated show was fantastic. In my opinion it’s the definitive iteration of the Justice League that I measure other JL media against. Even the intro was badass.

Lamar Smith

‘Batman v Superman’ is, in my eyes, irredeemable. For just a single scene. Bruce Wayne hitting the gym to prepare to fight Superman??!!??…… WHAT??!!??….. You can squat and bench and cross-train until the cows come home….. It….. Just…. Doesn’t….. Matter!!…. You get ALL the reps in you want…. Heck, go ahead and start juicing, if you’re so inclined….. Superman can pulp you with a flick of his finger…. Now, if you’ve got Kryptonite….. you don’t NEED to hit the gym!…. Either way, that scene lost that whole movie for me, sorry to those who enjoy it.

Mike Lemon

Me, I've got a different problem. I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control even for a moment, or someone could die. But you can take it, can't you, big man? What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose and show you just how powerful I really am. - Superman to Darkseid, Justice League Unlimited - Destroyer

Chris Thom

Yeah that always cracks me up a bit. But maybe Batman can afford super special expensive steroids too.

Lamar Smith

The ‘good’ stuff, huh? Like, from the Russian Women’s National swim team? Like that level of stuff? I mean, sure, but in the immortal words of Jerry Seinfeld, “It’s SUPERMAN!…..”

CJ Holden

I never watched it, because Snyder landed on my "directors to ignore" list after 300 (I like his DAWN OF THE DEAD though), yet I still appreciate the Snyder Cut's existence. Every film maker should be allowed at least once to put something on screen, that is just an unfiltered collage of their trademarks and fetishes without any studio interference. Yes, most of the time when something like this happens, the results are unwatchable (Having someone who tells the artist when to stop is not always a bad thing), but at least it's gonna be an interesting failure.

Richard Maurer

50k YT views in one day. Respectable, but I can’t help thinking it should have done better. Maybe people are waiting for the second half to be released before watching it?

Chris Thom

I know I held off watching it until they did part 2 too. I don't even know why. Just seemed appropriate for some reason.

Chris Thom

I do think of Snyder as a bit of a fetishist. But he does have an eye for aesthetics and framing a shot. Many of his movies are beautiful to look at.

Chris Thom

Yeah I felt the same. Some of the humor in Marvel gets a bit childish.

Chris Thom

Snyder always has such a singular vision. So it was weird when someone else came in and did reshoots, and changed the whole color scheme. Even if a lot of their changes were somewhat appropriate.

Andrew

The story direction of this version (the Justice League) is a self contained story that has little to no connection with the story set up from the previous films which is one of the main reasons this film feels so jarring to watch.

CJ Holden

Yeah, pretty much. He is 100% in control of camera and VFX, but that's it. That's one of the reasons I disliked 300 so much. He was so focused on how the movie looked and to recreate certain panels from the comic, that it often seemed like everybody was posing for photos.

Richard Maurer

Chris - I’m not talking about what Warner Bros did to the theatrical release - that was stupid and it sucked. What I’m talking about the very normal process of editing a film, normally by someone other than the director. This director’s cut, slow, bloated, and overlong that it is, shows us why the editing process is usually a good thing. Don’t get me wrong I generally like this version, it’s much better than the theatrical version, but it could have been even better with some unbiased editing.

Stick Figure Studios

I would say it's very difficult to make a good movie. Period.

Happy Hanukkah

"Editor: A word that someone should have said to Zack Snyder" Zack's response: "'Edit her'?! No, she's perfect just as she is!" :-P

Steve Smith

I've never been a fan of DC or their bland characters, except for Superman, of course.

Kevin O'Donnell

It's certainly not self contained, the story was setup up in B v S dawn of justice, more so if you watch the extended version. Also the post credit scene of wonder woman and suicide squad teased certain aspects. The jarring version is the theatrical cut! Lol, now that was a mess

Kevin O'Donnell

As a lifelong comic book reader I tend towards DC, and have pretty much stuck with that. There is definitely a rivalry amongst the fandom. But I suspect it's not universal. There's room for both and for those who are in both camps

Andrew

I see mo evidence of other films lending to the Snyder Cut and find the Theatrical Justice League much much more digestible. I find the this version unjustifiably long and tedious to sit through. I will state again I do respect Zach Snyder for taking the Charachter of Supeman more seriously than his predecessor James Gunn which is another conversation. :)

Chris Thom

The LIVE watch a long was the other day. But you might need to be Extra Butter to see it. Not sure.

Anil Majidzadah

If u guys liked the Flash Actor, than u definitely have to watch The Flash Movie from 2023. I guarantee u that u will love it. 🙌🏻
