Nick Ireland

Just clocked off work for the weekend, perfect timing!

Edgar Gonzalez

Things are getting crazy...And about to get a whole lot crazier!

pickupthepieces

Lol, Stannis will get to it when he gets to it. But first a cup of Earl Grey. Loving these GOT reactions!

Wes

Episode 10 reaction should be fire! Is that the right word? 🤷‍♂️

Clarence Newman

This is two days early, Cassie. Please remove and come back Sunday. 😆

Above Average Dave

Well, this is an unexpected pleasure. Hope all is well and you and the fam are healthy. Also, is it me or the camera settings, or is Carly still holding that newlywed glow (or was that just her loving Justice League 🤣).

Tara ✨💫

Cassie, if you ever want to know if your favorite character will be in the episode, watch the opening credits. If you don’t see Kit Harrington or Emilia Clarke’s name during the opening map sequence, they won’t be in that episode. I learned all the actors names to see who’d we see in every episode… thinking about Harrington, have you seen Stranger Things??

Michael West

I think I have this right. Maester Amon is the uncle of Aerys II (the Mad King) who is the father of Prince Rhaegar who kidnapped Ned’s sister. Rhaegar is also Danny’s brother.

Obie Brown

Cassie: "My beloved....Ser Berenstein!"

Obie Brown

The final stretch of ep for season 5, TOP reactions incoming! EEEEK!

aarswft

Rhaegar Targaryen was Dany's oldest brother, the singer. He kidnapped Ned Stark's sister and was killed by Robert Baratheon before he took the throne. Aerys Targaryen was Dany's father, the mad king. He burned Ned's brother and Father alive, which is what started the rebellion of the northern and eastern houses against the throne. He was stabbed in the back by Jamie Lannister. Viserys Targaryen was Dany's other brother, the weasel from season 1.

Astraeos

Just wanna say Cassie, appreciate your continued reactions to this series! Out of the couple of GoT reactions I've watched, yours has by far been the best.

Gray

Was that first ep out of sync or was it just my copy, had to do some adjusting. Anyhow it's mad Bran hasn't made an appearance yet this season i think. Talking of Bronns singing voice, Jerome Flynn the actor had a couple of number 1's here in the UK with his acting partner Robson Green when they were every mums favourite starring in "Soldier Soldier". I always love your optimism during every scene of hardship but well this is GoT ofcourse and it is proper grim sometimes.

Art of Free Speech

I just wanted to say, Cassie, when I see your GoT reaction every week, I literally giggle out loud like a little kid. I look forward to them more than any other weekly event. It's the very highlight, and it's all because of you and your authenticity, and the warmth you exude to the entire community. I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say we love this about you, so thank you!

Nick Ireland

Yeah she was definitely a few seconds behind

Tyler Lathrop

I need 7 & 8 like i need air to breathe!

Night King01

The ending to episode six is pure shock value. I dont understand it and even the plot point doesnt make sense. Littlefinger isnt stupid. Why would he do this. He is infatuated with sansa. He would never marry her off to ramsay. It shouldnt surprise you that this doesn’t happen in the books. Its completely mean-spirited and serves no other purpose than to get a reaction.

Florian Zingen

I don't know how she does it 😄 she says, she is hooked and can't stop thinking about the show, and we have to waaaaaaaiiiit one week after another 😄 binge it for the sake of the Seven! I am counting the weeks..

Clay F

I respect your opinion but I understand the plot point. Makes sense. Littlefinger is more infatuated with his success than with Sansa. The books are a different reality than the show. The show is an adaptation (not a duplication) of the books. I like how the show writers adapted the books.

Mike Lemon

I agree. Binge the show and end this nightmare.

VOCFM

Gonna have to give those sand snakes actresses and characters a big ol' 5 thumbs down

VOCFM

It's not that it's mean spirited, although it is, it's that by this point in the book Sansa is still in the Vale (which you mention basically) and Ramsay is married to Jeyne. It's just so dumb from here on out in so many instances lol. I tried to say it's not shock value but I have no defence for it because it really is

VOCFM

Doesn't matter, Joffrey already spoiled House of Dragon. Funny enough he also spoiled a knight of the seven kingdoms

aarswft

I don't think you can spoil history... That's not how it works.

Kawaii Leonard

Like VOCFM said, it is an entirely show only plot point. Sansa is nowhere near the North. And it doesn't make any sense for Littlefinger to give away his prized possession (Sansa) to someone he has no idea whether they will rape her or cherish her. This is actually a step back for the character of Sansa, who has no agency of her own. And Clay F, how does giving away Sansa further his ambitions? He created an enemy in Sansa by giving her to her family's murderers. You would think if his plan was for Stannis to rescue her and make her Lady of Winterfell, Sansa would support Littlefinger again? And there literally is no guarantee Stannis will win as Winterfell (in the books) is basically huge and impenetrable, so Sansa stays with the Boltons. How does this benefit LF? It doesn't because actual winter is very very soon and there is no way the Boltons can march south to help LF, and why would they want to? They need to solidify the North against wildlings, Stark loyalists, white walkers.

Andres Gaytan

How do I private message you to explain why showing Cassie a full Targaryen family tree would be bad?

Steve Mercier

"You will find little joy in your command. But with luck, you will find the strength to do what needs to be done. Kill the boy, Jon Snow. Winter is almost upon us. Kill the boy and let the man be born."

Kawaii Leonard

Mike, I already had a true night terrors trying to watch Justice League for the first time.

MGCR

The Watch used to command much more respect from all over Westeros than it does now. Because the threat against which it guards was more recent and real. But now, of course, everyone in the south laughs at it.

VOCFM

It doesn't further his ambitions at all, genuinely it's nothing more than a low odds bet. Littlefinger even mentioned at some point earlier that he's a betting man/went on about being good at it and then says to Sansa "You'll be made wardeness of the north if blah blah" and while he's talking its all cope because it's a terrible bet, because he has NO clue at how any of these events up North will play out and admits that he doesnt even know anything about Ramsay, which is pretty insane for him to say when he's done more then other people Littlefinger does know far too much about. I dont know how to finish this comment without spoilers so all I'll say is until this point, Littlefinger acts intelligently and operates in his lane and after Ramsay/what he did with Sansa and Ramsay, is operating with 1% of his brain power. The fact that he OWNS THE VALE RN and STILL did it is beyond insane and there's no real debate to be had about it. This is the beginning of the downfall of the plot and a few characters in general. It's also not even like Sansa COULD marry Ramsay in the book because if you know, you know and certain things happen in the show and book in the near future and it's just OBVIOUS that it won't happen. It's just all really dumb and while I want nothing more to just enjoy the show from here on out, I can't act like these parts of the show are good, especially slaughtering Selmy in the streets like that to some jihadis. It's so DUMB. The actor got sold on that part and as a book fan since release of the first book, im sure the actor for Selmy was pissed and upset ALSO - Let's look at this legally. Littlefinger GETS NO ALLIANCE FROM MARRYING A NIECE HE IS GAURDIAN OF TO THE NORTH. That's not how political alliances work. FIRST OFF, IF she was a niece, she needs to be a daughter and SECOND shes a STARK and everyone KNOWS THAT shes not niece of Littlefinger and therefore WHAT alliance is gained? The ONLY thing gained is MAYBE Sansa gets the North and then hates Littlefinger for it all. Like?!??!????????

VOCFM

This is also a really good comment because you said "Littlefinger isnt stupid. Why would he do this. He is infatuated with sansa. He would never marry her off to ramsay." You are 100% correct. Littlefinger owns whores and views woman and the world at large as his to gain pleasure from and use as he sees fit, like the world are/is his toys. He views the world as his to be used to gain pleasure. He does things that gives him pleasure and it would give Petyr no pleasure to have a Bolton BASTARD marry/have sex with/and abuse his toy that he happens to, in this situation, love more then all his other toys by a complete different margin. It goes Sansa way up in the clouds Cat on the ground below her All other women in the dirt There is NO way this would happen, and there's a reason it doesnt in the book

Clay F

That was awesome.

Night King01

Yeah in the book its a clever ploy. Here it just doesnt make much sense

Night King01

Yeah but they are still restricted by the main outline of the book therefore not putting in Jayne poole makes them have to pivot to a choice none of the characters would make.

Clay F

"We both peddle fantasies, Brother Lancel, mine just happen to be entertaining." You may no longer be reading the Patreon comments on GoT, but the sweater (2nd outfit) looked good.

Jay

Yeah, Ramsay really is awful. I personally find him a lot harder to stomach than Joffrey (I really enjoyed hating Joffrey). You might like this, short clip from Comic Relief about 10 years ago. Theon and Ramsay meeting in real life. It's just a nice reminder that Ramsay ain't real, they're all actors. No spoilers, but don't scroll to the comments:) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noFoE8dR1WQ

Kim André Bøe

The final scene there was less brutal to me this time around, since I knew it was coming. But still... yikes.

Mark White

I’m with you Cassie, did not like that episode! That ending was too far!! I feel that was unnecessary.

Clay F

Agreed with Cassie that final scene is hard to watch.

Jono Taylor

Ok I’m just gonna put out a post towards whoever has direct contact with Cassie regarding what a Tart is. For anyone who knows she used it in the right way and context regarding Cersei. However i do not think it is in the character of Cassie to basically call Cersei a slut or whore , let alone us that wording in the context of disapproval of an evil woman regardless of the context being imagined or ficational. Cassie to me is the nicest / sweetest lady on YouTube. I do feel obligated to writes this post because of the the love we as subscribers - fans and this case Patrons have for this woman as a reactor to our favourite series. Cassiecan barely use the terminology of Bastard in the early days to describe Jon Snow, let alone willingly agree with Olenna prick of the torn comment of Cersei being a Tart. Like most people who know and love Game of Thrones and the Universe, we are all glad and somewhat surprised by Cassie taking it on. Like most reactors , Cassie has naturally become mrore desensitised by the brutal nature of the Game of Thrones. However i feel obliged to write this post. Personally like most fans of Cassie and any other reactor going through this series and universe for the first time , we are appearing and someway afraid of the corrupting nature that has made us all cynics within the World of Westeros. With that said i have greatly enjoyed and have looked forward to every week in which Cassie delivers us all a new episode or two with Fresh eyes. Overall i love Cassie so much as a reactor and Personality to not inform her of the meaning of the word Tart as not being another word for stupid or dumb regarding this wicked character and woman.

Steve Smith

I agree that Cassie has a good pure heart, and I was concerned that this series might be too much for her clean mind. But she's smart and has a good foundation, so she'll be fine.

JohnnyUtah

Raegar is Danis brother, the son of The mad King Ares. The rebellion was started because Raegar chose Leanna Stark who was betrothed to Robert Beratheon. I find it all fascinating. However, I did not find that episode fascinating. Ramsey is a horrible human being.

JohnnyUtah

You know that rhymed

Jono Taylor

I think she'll defiantly be fine. She's not the same rose-peddled sweet summer child who couldn't even watch the opening of Lord of the Rings when she was younger, let alone survive thus far in the brutal and cynical world of Game of Thrones. I feel we don't give her as much credit for her strength in series such as these, where the brutal and cynical nature of the story harden us up to not expect a Happy Ending or for Good to overcome evil. Overall like most people concerned with Cassie soft and Sweet nature, we have to let her experience this series for herself. We need be with her when times get tough and dark and supporter he through the Journey we all love to see. I do believe the worst is past us and believe that Cassie is committed to finishing this story with us. As we all hope and know she's grown on us over the years as she becomes the best version of herself as well as impacting us all during these times.

SEAN ƴü KAY

I hope she doesn't leave too long of a time gap between ending seasons 5 and starting season 6...but I have a feeling it is going to be a bit...shares in kleenex will noticeably rise the more episodes she watches

Sean Carroll

Obviously as we all know, Season 5 truly began the downfall of LITTLEFINGERS character. I had not even read the books and was completely baffled by this writing decision. Clay will defend anything game of thrones related because he has no backbone to be able to criticise his favourite show. I don’t even take his opinion seriously

Jono Taylor

To put into context the Targaryen's are the last of old Valyria. It was civilisation which controlled much of the known world from Essos ( the continent where Dany's Story has been centred which is now occupied by Tyrion and Arya's presence) The Targaryen's escaped prior to the fall of Valyria to Dragonstone ( the place that Stannis was stationed prior to arriving at the Wall) which was an outpost far away from the centre of influence and power of the Valayrian empire and civilisation. However what happened as it will be revealed hopefully later if you keep following this series and universe , was that the Valyrian Freehold exploded and disappeared overnight in an Atlantis style / Pompeiiesque destruction. What you are seeing in that episode prior with Jorah and Tyrion is the ruins of Valyria. This what remains left of the Greatest Civilisation that controlled much of the known world outside Westeros after the many volcanoes of Valyria exploded killing everyone and everything except the Targaryen who had escaped. The Targaryen's by the time they decided they wanted to rule over Westeros years after the event that saw their people go virtually extinct , had a monopoly of power being the last dragonlords left in the world capable of being the world to their knees unchallenged. The Targaryen's are not just the last Dragonlord family with actually control over the ability to use dragons to achieve their means, but they represent the last ember of a people who dominated all others as lessers to their might.

Connor P

How do the faces not decompose? Aquaphor Cassie.

K, Zachary

They say 1 in 3 women go through what Sansa just went through sometime in their lifetime. My gf works in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit when she was RN with pediatrics she got trained/certified for the SANE team. You can look that up. They call her when a it's a child usually between the ages of 12-17. Neither one of us could watch this episode all the way through. We always stop at there wedding. Luckily this episode made it to the steps of Capital Hill before either one of us could watch it. ( We were not together at the time) Senator Claire McCkaskill announced she would stop watching the show because of it. This episode got 54% on Rotten Tomatoes and ratings dropped dramatically because of it.

Obie Brown

I think she will be REALLY tempted to immediately go into season 6, haha

DavidJPL

House Stark: "Winter is Coming". House Targaryen: "Fire and Blood" House Cassie: "Weddings in this show suck".

Brian Sheely

2 things... I love the "Let it Snow" sweatshirt. just out of curiosity, where does one find a cock merchant?

VOCFM

Its funny because clay is blocked for me, but it makes sense that he'd defend this after my last blocking interaction with him LOL

DavidJPL

Yes! Darn it.... :) But her actual quote was hysterical. lol

DavidJPL

I know Cassie stays pretty G-Rated, but I thought for sure I would hear her ask: "There are cock merchants?!?" lol

Coleton B.

Sean Carroll, please alter your verbiage and avoid spoilers in the future. Please allow Cassie to go into the coming episodes and seasons blind, as we all did. This is a reaction channel, after all.

SeanATX

The best line in all of GoT: “The dwarf lives until we find a c*** merchant.” 😂😂

Chris Thom

Oh it's from the show. Commenter below asked Cassie for a co*k merchant and I was thinking what tha f-- is going on around here lately. Lol

Clay F

+1 for the "Let it Snow" sweatshirt.

Clay F

I don't see Cole policing the comments for spoilers. That must mean that Cassie doesn't read the comments. Edit: I now see that Coleton B. policed a comment.

Clay F

2026 PiB Watch goals Very much looking forward to Andor after the awesome GoT. Other 2026 PiB Watch goals I am looking forward to: "A great war movie" "Rewatch Nolan's Batman's" "Fall in love with a never-seen romance/rom-com"

Gray

she liked one yesterday so she must be glancing them

Clay F

Gray -- curious, I don't see a comment that she liked. Maybe the comment has been deleted, or was made by someone who has me blocked.

Gray

it's still there it's Art Of Free Speech post after mine

Clay F

Ok. Thanks. The comment next to yours shows "This comment has been removed." on my list. I don't see Art Of Free Speech. Doesn't matter -- you confirmed she liked so she at least glancing at the comments. Thanks.

Clarence Newman

That's bad news. There is always the danger of a flyby nimrod.

Cole Jennett

I’m hoping that was a Ben like and not a Cassie like. There’s only so many times you can warn someone to stay out of comments. I’m hoping Ben just took note of a really pleasant comment and either alerted her to just that comment, or placed a like in her stead.

Björn Crafoord

What sound is that, that keeps happening on stream? Is the bed broken? My subwoofer really brings the sound out.

Clay F

Telling her to not read the comments seems like a drastic solution. I wish you or Coleton had the capability to delete comments. Would be nice to interface with her in the comments in a non-spoiler way.

Cole Jennett

That’s Patreon for you.🤷‍♂️

Doc Larry/old geezer

I’ve been holding back on Game of Thrones–specific comments because I binged the entire series and don’t want to risk an accidental spoiler. I agree with your reactions to this episode and your overall commentary. That’s as far as I’ll go for now. I’m looking forward to watching your reactions as the series continues. P.S. I just started watching the Daily Wire seven-episode limited series Pendragon: The Rise of King Arthur—really enjoying it so far.

Mike Lemon

Pendragon is on my list for tomorrow. It looks pretty good.

Doc Larry/old geezer

@ Mike Lemon It’s my hope that Cassie starts dipping into some classic medieval-style films now that she’s enjoying Game of Thrones. There’s a great lineup that fits the vibe perfectly—First Knight (1995), Excalibur (1981), Knights of the Round Table (1953), Dragonslayer (1981), and Cromwell (1970). Different tones and eras, but all firmly in the medieval wheelhouse.

Mike Lemon

And for "real life," The Lion in Winter (1968) then only after that one, the 2003 version.

2026-11-01 00:00 Just a side note on your comment about Bron having a nice singing voice, he was/is actually a successful & pretty awesome singer in a group/duet called Robson & Jerome & is always worth a listen (Unchained Melody especially)
2026-02-01 01:16

Daniel John

Lol I have too much of a basketball mind. You said Bron I thought of LeBron first

AdrianF

The less you know the more you learn. I had literally no idea R&J's J was behind that. Wow

Tyler Lathrop

Hi Mr and Misses Popcorn! Any chance of a GoT drop tonight?

LukeG84

Finally got around to watching these two episodes. I really didn't enjoy that last episode. Why did Sansa go through with it? 😔

VOCFM

Cassie no longer reads comments for game of thrones so this comment is not needed

Rick Williams

The slang meaning of tart is slut, whore, someone who is promiscuous, etc. Interesting episodes.
