[Full Reaction] Game of Thrones (S6 E3+E4)

Gray

We were all looking forward to that Stark hug for you as it was a rare moment of happiness for the family. Glad i'm not the only one finding the Sparrows witterings a bit tedious, now the long wait for episodes 5 - 6 begins.

Clarence Newman

I love how this show acts like a magnet on Cassie's moral compass. One minute she'll chastise herself for using the word 'hate' to describe a character, the next she's sitting stonefaced while praying for Ramsey to be tortured. No need to worry, though, Cassie. Your moral compass is working just fine.

nairby

Cassie jumped right into the next two episodes from the last two. Finally acting like a normal obsessed fan. I was getting worried.

Obie Brown

Never apologize Cassie, your honest reactions is why we are all here!

C

can we get some more please

Tyler Hale

Holy cow!! Jon Snow!!

Tyler Hale

BTW Godfather reactions are gone

Michael

I knew it she would watch 3 and 4 right away haha

Vak

A TON of great Cassie reactions in this one: "I feel like such a rebel, watching four in one day!" (Girl, you have no idea - some of us were introduced to the show late, and cursed the DVD player for taking time to switch discs between seasons) "Cute outfit!" blurted when the camera panned around Missandei. Yeah, on a show where the bulk of the main characters are like 8.5 or higher on a scale of 1-10, Missandei is ALWAYS at 11. (Also, please don't confuse the names Missandei and Melisandre. Dany's bestie deserves better than that.) The camera devoting maybe 5 seconds to the initial visual meeting of Brienne and Tormund - and Cassie IMMEDIATELY gets it. That little interplay is NOWHERE in the books and was apparently completely ad-libbed on set when the actors got into character, and just acted like how their characters would. And, lo, it is a GLORIOUS ship. As a rule, I hate ships. But this one deserves a damned fleet. There's still a ton of changes coming, but in retrospect I really like this period of the show. We're not anywhere near the endgame, but one can see the chess pieces slowly moving to set it up. (Yeah, staying vague, sue me.)

Chris Thom

I don't know what it is about that actor in the thumbnail, but at a certain angle and lighting my brain always makes him Lawrence Fishburne.

H.L.

Hurray! Looking forward to watch tonight!

2-Can

Cassie does like reunions - reminded me of Bucky finding Buck at the POW camp in Masters of the Air.

Jenny_M

There are a lot of things in this show that made me cry, but the Jon and Sansa reunion might have been the hardest I wept at any point in the entire run. One tiny iota of Stark happiness! Yes!

David

Many, many wins for Cassie in these episodes!

Dazman

Don't look too deeply at the Melisandre thing from end of last video and beginning of this one. She is simply having a crisis of faith and a crisis of confidence. She believed the Lord of Light was guiding her and believed Stannis was the true king. It didn't happen and now she is shaken and questioning the things she believed in. Obvious parallels in other stories and real life.

VOCFM

I understand the confusion with Molestown and Oldtown, but it's still funny because Oldtown is quite literally on the opposite end of the world. The wall is far north, and Oldtown is as far south in Westeros as you can possibly get without being in the arbor or Africa

JohnnyUtah

Line of the year "such a rebel watching 4 in 1 day..." 😁 welcome to my world, enjoy your stay! Remember we had to wait 6 years for that reunion!

Mister Lou

I can't wait to see your reaction to Sam and his journey with Gilly!

Steve Mercier

Been waiting on this one all day...and for a while before that. Especially after your visceral reaction to the season 5 finale. Goooooooooood stuff.

Shad Kanyak

“I feel like a rebel. Four in one day!” Me casually sitting here watching entire franchises in a weekend.

Guybrush Threepwood

We waited years for that Stark reunion moment and I've been waiting excitedly for you to have that moment, worth the wait! It's only made so moving by the years of heartache and struggle theyve been through

Rick Williams

Great episodes. Great emotional reaction. Watch out ladies. Jon died. His watch ended. He is released from his vows. He is free to get him a lady now and take the north. Cassie, Jon has been through a lot. He could use a hug from the Popcorn Queen.

Micah S.

If these two episodes are a bonus to the roster and she still jumps right into episdoe 5-6 this upcoming weekend. Thatd be awesome.

Kieler, Zachary

So So.... We were watching this and she told me, "mirror your phone to my laptop" when watching episode 4. "We have been waiting 53 episodes for this moment" For Sansa and John to reunite "remember how we both pictured her to react hand over mouth crying tears of joy" I was like how could I forget? Do we seriously only have ## episodes left? "It appears that way". Unless she decides to the spinoffs? "Yeah there is another one coming out this summer right?" There is, plus a third season of House Of The Dragon, and a second season of A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms next year.

Daniel John

Lol damn I just want her to get to the end of this season and those two episodes at the end. Digging season 6 more than 5...all the Dornish stuff really sucked on repeat viewing. Hopefully AKOT7K can rectify the Dornish stuff...God that first season kicked all kind of arse.

Brian Sheely

Cassie is, by far, my favorite reactor. She has to follow this up with House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

aarswft

I do hate that she doesn't have a firm grasp on the inciting events of this series. These reveals are going to be wasted. I know for sure the big one is going to be met with confusion.

Ike

I want a British accent - but only the one that will allow me to say “those Goat Fookers” and make it sound like perfectly conversational English. What can I say, I love this show!

Doug

Thanks for being early with this one, really want to keep watching along, waiting a week is rough. This is my second time through but it's been years so I forgot a lot of the scenes. Glad that Cassie is so heavily invested now.

Mark White

Seeing Jon and Sansa reunite was such a relief and moment of joy. Someone has seriously got to do away with Ramsey! And the High Sparrow is starting to become annoying. Im also unsure about Arya’s arch, I just can’t figure out where here story is leading. Is it bad, is it good, is she being used, will she ever leave the temple. I would love to see her back with Sansa and Jon, but that seams miles away at the moment. I feel each new season has me more gripped than the last! Can’t wait for the next episodes!

Heikki Poutanen

It's touching to see you react to the reunite scene with Jon and Sansa. That scene still gives me chills

Luke G

I'm so happy Jon is back from the dead and Sansa finally got to reunite with family, but Osha getting killed was a real sucker punch. Please tell me Ramsay is going to die soon. I'm not sure how much more of him I can take.

Daniel J Fort

Cassie you gotta watch the kit Harrington police story that happened on jimmy fallon between season 5 and 6 now that you seen he is back now.

Role Model

Yeah, the waiting between seasons was a struggle, especially with 7 and 8 when we had to wait like 2 years!

Sonny

Hard hem.... hard home..... hard helm.... hard hat? Mmm...tsk.... That side glance that says, nope I went too far. Pure gold

Ignis Rændl

what if it's not just a show... what if it's sll a true story... 🤔🤫🤐

Sean Carroll

Overall episode 3 was a fairly good ep. I reckon its a 7/10 Jon: 3 episodes in a row with cock jokes with Tormund this time being the deliverer, is this what Game of thrones comedy has become? Sam: Why is Sam bringing Gilly to Horn Hill? He said before that he will protect Gilly and "wherever you go, I go to", considering how much his father hates wildlings it makes no sense for Sam to consider bringing her there, not to mention the fact his father already threated Sam's life if he ever saw him again, from his point of view Sam has broken his vows and taken a wildling lover. Does Sam really think his father will take kindly to this? On another note, Sam's and Gilly's relationship feels so uninteresting, there is no romantic love there and yet we are supposed to think there is. Bran: This is a great scene, seeing Arthur Dayne in action was epic, only small gripe is that 1 vs 4 is always going to be hard to film in a non-goofy way, if you compare it with the barriston fight scene though it is done a lot better. Also im not a fan of the writing surrounding the three eyed raven taking Bran out of the vision just before the reveal that we will eventually see. Why did the 3 eyed raven take bran into the vision if not for that? Did he just want Bran to see his father have a cool fight. This is an annoying writing issue just to keep us in suspense for the big reveal. Dany: Genuinely dont care about this storyline at all, can you just hurry up and go to westeros already Varys: Great scene, bringing Varys back to his best. Tyrion: Remember when Tyrion used to be the most interesting and witty character in the show? Tyrion's character regression began in season 6, he has become a shell of his former self, why are we getting a 3 minute filler scene where Tyrion tries to play a game with Missandei and Greyworm alongside him trying to convince them to drink alcohol. What purpose does this scene serve at all? High sparrow: This storyline continues to be completely boring and uninteresting, does anyone actually enjoy this storyline? Arya: what was the point of Arya's blind arc if she was given her sight back in 3 eps? All she did was live on the streets getting beaten up. This scene is ok but the goofy training montage is a bit weird considering there is no point to fighting blind (i know what they are trying to setup and no it is not good). Again this storyline continues to be a mess considering no one knows what the purpose of her training actually means. Ramsay: A good scene with some actual funny comedy from Umber, Ramsay continues to be a monster which is always fun even if horrible Execution scene: Why didnt Jon hang the other 10 men who helped in his killing, oh well doesnt really matter, still a scene done really well. Good ep but nothing special

Sean Carroll

Ep 4 thoughts: again, not a bad episode but still has some big issues, 5.5/10 Jon: The reunion between jon and sansa is handled fantastically well (even if it doesnt make sense for Ramsay not to have sent more soldiers to chase after her or cut her off after Karstark told him they found his soldiers on their way to Winterfell). Littlefinger: now that he has gotten the Vale on his side to join the fight and save Sansa, looks like Jon can rely on these soldiers to help him against Ramsay... Right... RIGHT????? I am going to talk about this one more as the season progresses because it is fundamentally one of the worst mistakes in the season. Tyrion: The rapid drop in Tyrion as a character continues, first of all he compares his experience as a slave with Missandei which is just the peak of disrespect. He had all the power in the world growing up and after a few days/weeks being held captive he tries to compare with Missandei, god what has happened to my boy. Then we have Tyrion try to negotiate with the masters... why? The masters are directly involved in 1. the burning of Dany's ships, 2. the attack in the pits, 3. the murder of barriston. Why arent they hostile toward the masters who clearly are not going to go ahead with Tyrion's plan at all. If Tyrion doesnt even explain the way he will enforce penalties against the masters for continuing to practice slavery then by what reason do the masters have to go along with his plan? The masters also say they want Dany to leave...... well then why did you burn her ships??? Bruh the writing is awful. Dany: Can you please hurry up and go to westeros already, im falling asleep at this stage. High sparrow: I dont care about the high Sparrow and his dumb story, can Tommen hurry up and grow some balls and kill them already so we dont have to go through this awful storyline any further. Matter of fact the kings landing storyline used to be peak GOT and now it is possibly the worst story alongside Arya and Dany/Mereen. Olenna continues to be the funniest character in the series every time she appears which is great. Theon: Great scene, not much to say, Theon continues to be the best character in the series Ramsay: again Ramsay being a monster is always horrible/fun to watch. Oshas death however is extremely underwhelming for such a character who was solid in the first 3 seasons The wall: now that their main goal is to defeat Ramsay, they have to find men for their army, obviously we have wildlings. Why didnt Sansa mention the Vale considering littlefinger is on her side... oh wait David and Dan are trying to set something up, I bet its going to be genius ;) Dany: Another cringe Dany victory scene, why did the Dothraki just let her walk around the temple and knock over the fire? I guess the Dothraki understand how fire works and didnt think it would spread at the speed that it did and tear the entire place apart in about 10 seconds... People love this Dany scene but there is literally no logic to it. Fire doesnt work that way, it doesn spread at extreme speeds like that. Not to mention they are in an earth and stone temple so fire shouldnt even work to any real effect. Next, the Dothraki are literally the most brave men in the world, i understand that fire is both dangerous and scary but if any people wouldnt be afraid of it it would be the dothraki, why didnt they just kill Dany considering the fire wasnt hiding her or keeping her safe. Why do they just stand there? Im also torn between whether the dothraki bowing to her makes sense, obviously they respect the strong but dont they also hate magic so wouldnt dany coming out of the fire unscathed be considered magic in their eyes, overall it doesnt make a lot of sense. An ok episode but definitely nothing special

Kiss the Librarian

I've seen this show so many times, but watching it while considering your new eyes, I'm watching it again feeling all the things. Although, no matter how many watches, I can't stand the prolonged deaths like the Night's Watch rebels being hanged. And holy crap, that scene of Daenerys having power over fire for the first time, then her stepping out like a friggin fire sorceress. OMG, I would bow too, please don't burn me, naked lady! What a moment.

Clarence Newman

Things Cassie would have never believed right after Jon got stabbed to death: "Hey, Cass! In four episodes time, you'll literally be saying out loud, "Ohhh I'm so happy!"

Crymson Vega

I hope you see this comment for I will answer two questions. 1) In Game of Thrones (Season 3, Episode 5), Varys keeps the sorcerer who castrated him bound, gagged, and imprisoned inside a wooden crate. He does not immediately kill him, but rather keeps him alive to suffer as revenge, demonstrating that the powerless can, with time and patience, overcome those who abused them. The show does not explicitly reveal what happened to the sorcerer after that scene, leading to speculation that he was either kept in prolonged, agonizing captivity or ultimately killed. So no they will not mention him again. 2) In the flashback with young Ned Stark and the sword fight scene. This was after the Mad King was killed by Jaime Lannister and Ned was there. Following the Battle of the Trident, Ned arrives at the Tower of Joy in Dorne with companions, finding it guarded by Kingsguard members, including Ser Arthur Dayne. Ned asked Ser Arthur where was his sister Lyana Stark, she was the one who Robert Baratheon was in love with but was taken and raped by Rhaegar Targaryen. That was the story we've been told, and then after everyone was killed in that sword fight scene we hear a woman scream. For all we know that scream might be Ned's sister Lyana Stark since he said he was looking for her and the guards clearly were guarding that place for a reason.

Praying for a GoT drop tonight 🙏

bknsty14

Just so y'all know, in the books, Jon Snow is still dead. That's where George RR Marin left off. Been waiting 15 years for a resolution to that and many other things.

Bobby Coolbreeze

Good thing you stuck with the show. You deserved that Jon and Sansa reunion

Dk

You are confused all the time because nobody around you had the wherewithal to have you watch at least season one's Histories and Lore. Which is still mind-blowing to me.

John A

This ending was the first time in a long time you came out smiling hahaha. Not an easy series to watch.
