Heyyyy-oooo!

How is everyone this week-How about that hockey game eh? I was sad and happy at the same time. It is one of my kiddos birthday today-Its so fun to celebrate him but I can also barley keep my eyes open haha-I stayed up way too late doing balloons and a making and hiding clues for a scavenger hunt and wrapping presents and all the birthday things. Worth it!

Thank you to all those who came and hung out on our YT LIVE! It was so fun-I'm currently whispering sweet nothings to my dragon eggs and eating cadburyu mini eggs from the haul! Ther was a Robert Duvall Poll LIVE on there-Our winner was Falling Down-but it was so close to Secondhand Lions, and you know I love a silver medalist so I'll probably watch both! We also did a poll from the new website kk and our winners were-13 Warriors and Dirty Harry-which means Harry moves up to sooner than later!

This week on Patreon we have 4 uploads (next week will be two fyi) With perfect sense, we realized that boarding the last train with a gilded birdcage was a dangerous game no one else even knew we were playing. I don't know guys-scavenger hunt clues are still fresh on my mind!

On YT it will be Logan’s Run, and season finale of season 5 for GOT.

I want to do a new poll, but have a big list of IOU’s I need to put a debt in first!

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week-I’m heading to AZ with my mom for her retirement (although she keeps still picking up shifts) Can’t wait for sunshine!

What's up with the GOT S6 E5&6 sticker below the Logan's Run poster? Mistake, or are we getting 2 Patreon GOT uploads this week? There is a mistake in the other sticker, it says S6 E9&10 instead of S5 E9&10.

I sure wish Carly was in on the Philadelphia Story watch with Cassie. It would be Carly's third Cary Grant, second James Stewart, and first Katherine Hepburn. I do look forward to the Sense and Sensibility watch more since it is with Carly!

There seems to be something for everyone to watch in the next few days. Personally, I don’t know if I have enough sense or sensibility to do the full watch-along of that one, but The Birdcage will be a fun rewatch. I think Bullet Train is quite enjoyable, Falling Down is excellent, and The 13th Warrior is one of the very few movies it is acceptable to call "underrated." Factor in the other movies, and I am a very happy camper.

Bullet Train is great, and was the movie that convinced me that Aaron Taylor-Johnson *can* act, and also that he could probably play a pretty good version of James Bond.

Hi Cassie, I’ve not seen Birdcage or Bullet train. Sense and Sensibility, can’t believe you haven’t seen it. It’s Soooooo a Cassie movie, Jane Austin story and a Stacked Cast. GoT is gripping right now! Just can’t wait for more! Fingers crossed for PaF 🫰come on “Touching the Void” although looking through the entries so far, there are a lot of great movies in there. Especially as it’s 2 slots a week. I think that works out at 5 weeks worth and that’s without Feb’s PaF. I’m not complaining! Just saying that’s going to take sometime to get through. Please say if I have missed anything?

The Birdcage will be fun. Hilarious movie, and just could become one of Cassie's biggest laughers ever. "How about those Dolphins?!" Very glad that both you and Carly will see Sense & Sensibility. It's one of the movies I originally picked for Carly's Romantic List. 😉

Happy birthday to your son! Usually just hear the kids offscreen but they seem very sweet and polite, with a lot of patience for you while you're working. Very cute. Dear Cassie+Family and members of the PIB viewing public, So we saw a special press screening of Scream 7 (2026) my gf's brother in law works for some IC newspaper and we got the tickets just like we got tickets for The Bride (2026) After the movie we were told that Scream 8 had already been confirmed. This was supposed to be the last! Unless the plan on bringing back Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega. Then I whole heartly approve. Food update: My gf tried the A&W with no sugar. Which Cassie tried. My gf said it left a bad after taste and made her stomach upset. It's all the Vegan and Raw food she eats and then adding liquid candy. About Last Week: We loved GOT reaction. We didn't watch Logan's Run, I did fall asleep to Cassie watching it though. So she got the view and I didn't have to watch a movie I had never heard of before and was told not to watch because I wouldn't like it. We watched Moonstruck which she loved but said Philadelphia Story (1940) is so much better. Old fashioned romance. Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart. The Week Ahead: 3 movies + Game Of Thrones. Yeah we own Sense and Sensibility. The Birdcage is on my old hard drive but we own it. Bullet Train we both watched and both liked it. Instead of a song which I picked GOT inspired Scar Tissue by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Recently my gf and I came across a YT channel that is simply adorable this little girl has a almost magical bond with these horses. My wife tells me Sense and Sensibility is one of the great films of all time. I believe her attitude may be a little bit female. Bullet Train's a fun watch. I tend to like most Brad Pitt films. Never seen The Birdcage, but Robin Williams makes every film fun (except One Hour Photo, of course). The fact that Cassie's watching these three films is a definite sign that her next PPoTM should be Thelma & Louise. "Sense" is about two women, Brad Pitt is in Bullet Train and the road trip in Thelma & Louise would never have happened if Geena Davis's character hadn't felt like she was living in a Birdcage. It's in the stars, Cassie! As for GoT, it's great to see her fully re-engaged. Season 6 sure is a ride.

I have some thoughts on how the new Popcorn Requests should be used for March Madness and for polls in general going forward. Considering how priorities count more than upvotes, but also having enough upvotes overrides personal priorities, and finally how far down the list a film is depends initially on the date it's upvoted (non priority films only), a films place on the list (number-wise) is highly subjective as to the films actual popularity. Especially films newly added as upvotes since they understandably start at the bottom the list with 1 upvote, but unless people are willing to go to the bottom of the list on a regular basis (which experience tells me they are not) or they just happen to want to upvote a film with 1 upvote, the films at bottom of the list tend to remain there, popular or not. And even if they get 1 upvote that still leaves them far down the list with 2 upvotes. The only fair and equitable solution would be to include ALL films with 1 or more upvotes in the selection process for both March Madness and any random polls. Any other method of selection would be implicitly biased against recent upvote additions to the list.
