What World Should I Return To Poll 2 of 2 (Patreon)

Ok I am itching to finish some series in the new year. I really want to see every one of these!

This will be Poll 2, the top two winners from this poll will face the top two winners from Poll 1 in a third poll which will go live on Sunday.

Thank you for all the well wishes after the Lens update last night, trying to look on the bright side but this Flu is taking me (and Carly and kids) out HARD!

Correct me if I'm wrong but the actor who played Alan Shepard, Scott Glenn, is related to John Glenn (son, maybe?). He was the skipper on the American sub in Hunt for Red October.

Godfather 2 is better than 1 in many folks’ opinion and arguably is top 15 movies of all time according to several polls.

my opinion on mad max is to skip to the mad max 2 the road warrior. the first one is a little odd, weak and adds very little. it does have some good stuntwork. the franchise is told so you don't miss anything if you watch any of them out of order

Godfather II is an exception to the rule that sequels usually suck. An outstanding film, giving us Vito Corleone's background that was in the original Godfather book but didn't make it into the movie.

Can we wait on Godfather 2 except for Lethal Weapon 2 and Jurassic World she hasn't watched the other franchises in quite awhile!?? Just something to think about.

Just to finish the trilogy. The first is obviously the best and stands alone. However, she watched the second which ended with the cliffhanger. So, yes. Just to finish it out. The new one doesn’t matter honestly…

as for this poll, my vote is Jurassic World Dominion (BTW it's 3 not 4 lol🤣) despite what people say of it, it's actually my favorite of the Jurassic World movies, when I saw it in the theater, I was glued! so many action scenes that kept me on the edge of my seat, had so much nostalgia going on in my head because of the many easter eggs from the Jurassic Park films and seeing the original cast together, so much fun! I loved every minute of that movie! hey, might as well finish it off so you're all caught up with that universe lol! but hey, once again, that's just me! much love and support and as always......stay classy Cassie🥰😁😉👍

Hahahaha I know a lot of people feel that way, and I get why. I’m not as hard on it as others. If it wasn’t the sequel to two of the ten best movies ever made, I think its reputation would be better than it is.

I like Mad Max (so it will never win), but I would advise starting with 2 (Road Warrior). It is what most people (over 30?) in the U.S. think of when they think of Mad Max. But if you ever do watch Mad Max (1979), make sure it is the Australian version. The dubbed, "Americans are too stupid to understand an accent" version, is just a weird thing to watch. That reminds me, try to put Crocodile Dundee on the radar. Australian version is better, but not-Australian is nearly as good.

See, in the USA, it was Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior) that made a big splash and afterwards the yanks were finding out it was a sequel. Fun fact, MM1 was dubbed for USA release because they thought Americans would have trouble understanding it with the Aussie accent.

You really need to see Godfather II, and soon while the memory of I is still fresh. It does more than just continue the story; it’s a different kind of film, but equally great.

Didn’t know there was another version lol. I’ve always watched the normal version of Mad Max and Croc Dundee. Never had a problem understanding the Aussie accent but I’m from the U.K. I suppose is a bit like not many British movies have ever done well over in the US because they don’t understand some of the language 😂

Dean- the Australian version of Crocodile Dundee has a few more minutes at the beginning and doesn't have the "TV edit" of one "swear" word that is in the international version for some reason. My DVD is also pretty dark but I'm not going to bother tracking down another copy to compare it to

I don’t even think the Australian version of Croc Dundee exists anymore. I hate the US version even though the title is a more correct version of how it should appear. If the title comes up as “ Crocodile” Dundee, it is NOT Australian. I miss the scenes they cut out of that movie. “ Good night, Walter” “Good night…. Wal…ter”.

I think you can skip the first Mad Max and go with the iconic Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981). Much better movie.

The only reason why I think you should do Jurassic World dominion is that then you’re done with it. It’s complete and you can go on completing some thing else. I’m not a godfather fan just because of the subject matter but I’ve got to say that they’re very popular movies. I’d like to go on the matrix ride No matter what you choose I’ll be watchin with you.

This is the problem I have with poles like this. I can just see so many older people following you and liking movies like Godfather II and never have seen Matrix or John Wick 2, so they auto Godfather. I've had to watch 0 movies in your poles so far because I've seen like a billion movies and seen all the movies in your poles since I joined ya Core. I don't know what your definition of old is but I am 33 and I definitely defaulted to Godfather on this. Let's be honest here, John Wick 2 was not nearly as good as the first and The Matrix Revolutions was literally the worst of the three with Keanu, by a lot.

I feel bad for some people no imagination. And addressing the old thing. That's common sense. If a person was born 20 years b4 the godfather came out and have never seen the Matrix or John Wick, then obviously he's going to choose the god father or Superman II. If a person was born in 2000 and never seen or heard of The Godfather, Mad Max, or Superman II then he/she most likely is going to pick Matrix or John Wick. That's all I'm saying. I think everyone that votes fairly should have seen all the movies. And for addressing old, lets just say the average life span for men is 74, so half way to that I feel like now we're starting to get older even though I believe no matter what age u are your still young. (Old to me though still young to me is 60. Once I hit 60 I think people will be like "your old"). And don't forget if your older the more likely you are to like the movies you grew up w/. IMO John Wick II was great, action packed more then the first. Matrix was good to, not great imo. So we're all different. My point was just to have an open mind no matter how young or old and see all the movies b4 u vote, that's all.
