Hey guys!

Here is the final poll. The two winners from Polls 1 and 2 advanced to this round!

I really will be exited about any of these but my vote is going to Superman!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Writing an update post NOW!

Comments

Radwar

I was under the impression that you would watch the winners of both polls. Both Lethal Weapon 2 and The Godfather Part II would've been amazing.

Robert da Spruce

Happy New Year Cassie! I hope you and your family are feeling better. Best wishes for the coming year!

Neil Varma

Happy new Year !! Hope it is well 🤞💙🙏

Mike Stevenson

Lethal Weapon 2 all the way! it's the best!

Bryan Fritchie

I would have voted for Lethal Weapon or John Wick. But if you want Superman, that's where my vote goes. 👍🏻 (But do watch the other two as well 😉)

Chris

Not fair! You have Lethal Weapon 2 and Godfather 2 in the same poll?

Jerrod Acree

Godfather Part II is better than the first!

Todzilla

No love for the best Superman movie of all time? 🤷 I'm cool with either Godfather or Lethal Weapon, but Superman II is the real deal. 🎤👇

Joe Mallard

Happy New Year! You can't really go wrong with any of these, but I gotta go with John Wick since the new movie is coming out in a few months.

Justtired

I would like to add an “all of the above” button

Jaccob Cortes

Godfather 2 is 2 good 2 miss out!

Patrick Egan

Four solid choices, but I think you’ll probably enjoy the Lethal Weapon sequels most, they really up the “buddy cop comedy” after the first one :)

diego kontarovsky

no matter what, you should definitely watch all the christopher reeve supermans! they are not perfect, but all are worth watching

Celeste McAllister

I voted for Superhunk ll show solidarity with Cassie! And GF2 is taking it out of the gate! :)

Joseph Voigt

Godfather Part 2 is one of the best films ever, I'm hoping it wins the poll.

Ike

Lethal Weapon 2 with Mel Gibson, Ruler of Australia.

Tom Ocasek

Superman II struggling.

Neill Shaughness

Can't go wrong with any of these. I voted for Superman too. I'm surprised that Lethal Weapon is beating Godfather Two.

David

Being the best Superman movie of all time is like being valedictorian of summer school.

Bill W

LW2 is my favorite of the four, but I voted for Superman because I think Cassie would like it best.

Johnny Liu

Was really rooting for Superman :(

_tragicmike
>>98707014

I agree that is the movie I believe Cassie will like best, even if it isn't the best movie overall.

Raven Dark
>>98706736

Lex Luthor: Fight me for it. I'm the greatest criminal mind of all time. You'll lose.

Mike Lemon
>>98706779

Two is not even close to the best Superman. Many of the animated ones are much better.

Steven Perez

I'm torn between the Superman and Godfather franchises.

Jeff Webb

Honestly you should watch all of these (although Wick 2 is meh IMO)

Patrick Flanagan

Minority report: The LETHAL WEAPON series is fine overall but each sequel is a step down in quality.

Bert Towle

Take a refresher course in apartheid and Krugerrands before watching LW2. At least you'll get some closure about an emotional point from LW1.

Stick Figure Studios

Once again, I'm voting for SUPERMAN 2, but I really don't care if GODFATHER 2 our LETHAL WEAPON 2 win because both movies are great and you should really see both of them.

Todzilla

Since Cassie likes Danny Glover (in Lethal Weapon), I think she should watch Predator 2.

Steve Smith

Patrick Flanagan has it backwards. Each Lethal Weapon gets better and better. Lethal Weapon 4 is definitely the best by far.

Erik Daniel

I had to go Lethal Weapon 2. I know we all have our takes on the best Lethal's and if they go up or down in quality, but I think for sure Cassie will like them more and more. She loved the relationship between Riggs and Murtaugh (who doesn't), and with more comedy in the sequels, it should be a great time.

Larry Darrell

I’ve had an idea about these polls for a while now. What if instead of Cassie watching the Winner and sometimes the Runner-Up, Cassie watches the Winner and the movie from the poll, that She Wants to Watch. One for Us, One for Her. We Pick, She Pick. Just a thought.

Sean Novack

Absolutely have to go with "The Godfather Part II". It's one of the few sequels that can be said to improve upon an excellent "Part 1", and it really should be viewed before the memory of the first fades. I really like "Lethal Weapon 2", and most of the series, but they can be watched at any time.

Dioskur

If you want to see it, sure, watch Superman2. But I have to say, it's just not a good movie. Watchable, but not good.

Richard Maurer

No surprises in the poll results - unfortunately.

Bill W
>>98711260

Agree. I like them all, and the crime story arcs hold up in all 4, but the comedy element in each one gets a bit "sillier" than the last.

Richard Maurer
>>98706779

@ Bill W - I stand by my statement. And the best live action Batman film is The Batman (2022). I'm sure this opinion isn't controversial ; )

Jim Williams

Of the three, Godfather II is the best made and "deepest". Lethal Weapon 2 was too "woke" for my taste (tastes differ), Superman II was another "feel-good" movie like the first. IMO, Lethal Weapon should never have had sequels. I feel the same way about "First Blood", though. I can't comment on John Wick 2, since I didn't watch John Wick 1 (I avoid watching movies where dogs are hurt or killed)

Matt Rose

THE GODFATHER 2 is the best film of the bunch but I think she'd enjoy LETHAL WEAPON 2 the most, just based upon her reaction to the first film. All 4 films are worthy of viewing, though.

granny_goodness

Come on people, The Godfather 2 is one the greatest films ever made. Lethal Weapon 2 is something you put on in the background for a holiday get together.

Alan Kobb

Come on, friends! The girl wants some more Superman! Give the girl what she wants!!! Actaully I do have my limits. Superman 2 is fun. Superman 3 is a train wreck and Superman - The Quest for Peace is more of an airplane wreck.

Just Plain Bob
>>98711929

Excellent point about apartheid in particular. Much of the movie would be lost on someone that wasn’t aware of what was happening in South Africa at the time.

Robert da Spruce

Wow! It’s neck and neck! Looks like this may go down to the wire. Personally, I voted for Superman II. Just because Cassie mentioned that’s the one she’s leaning towards. But in truth. I like all the choices, and hope Cassie reacts to all of them eventually.

Just Plain Bob

I voted for Lethal Weapon 2 because I believe you will enjoy it the most. But you really, really need to see Godfather 2 as well. Just a phenomenal movie. Also, the remaining Lethal Weapon movies are perfect for a sister watch. The buddy cop relationship deepens considerably and they bring in some new characters that I think y’all will love.

Doug Cook

I agree that Lethal Weapon should have stopped with the first one. The rest are nothing memorable. Godfather II is better than the first one. So that's my vote. Hope you're feeling better, miss your lovely smile.

Aaron Taft

Have You any Intent to Watch Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick?

Rick Williams
>>98760923

I agree. Both are good movies. But, I think Cassie would enjoy Lethal Weapon 2 more.

Joe M

All the Lethal Weapon movies deserve a watch in my opinion. But if Godfather 2 wins I definitely won’t be disappointed.

Henry Fitzgerald

The Godfather films are a roulette wheel. Liking the first is no guarantee you'll like the second, and the third (horribly underrated in my opinion) is very different again.

Paul Mellette

If you enjoyed John Wick, you need to continue the series. Each one has outdone the previous... in quality and at the box office. And the talent of the additional cast... Lawrence Fishbourne, Halle Berry, Angelica Houston... The Wick franchise is where all the cool-kids keep turning up! The 4th installment hits theaters this spring!

Robert Nelson

Who are we kidding? She will watch all 4.

Shawn Kildal

Usually when it's this close it seems Cassie watches both movies. I remember that's what happened with Superman '78 and Gran Torino

Jamie van Brewen

The Godfather Part II has never been a favorite of mine (unlike the first movie, which I will always love!). I do look forward to your reaction to it though, because it will answer a lot of questions left over from the first movie. One thing I have to say about it is, it can be VERY confusing. Even now, when I watch it, I feel like a need a chart to keep track of who is on whose side. If you can stay on top of that, it will be a memorable experience. Oh, and the audience in 1974 would have known all about what happened in Cuba in the late 1950s, but I would recommend anyone watching it for the first time to learn at least a little about that before watching this.

Joseph Voigt

Woot, it is now officially tied, let's goooooo Godfather II.

Al Swearengen
>>98802224

I liked the first one. The second one was atrocious and the third looks even worse.

Tom Ocasek

What happens in a tie?

Godzilla Jones

I mean, really Godfather parts 1 and 2 are, together, the adaptation of Puzo's novel and should both be watched for the story to be complete. Superman 2 is so good too though. And I like Lethal Weapon 2 the best of all of those. All the John Wick movies are good. Good list.

Gábor Árki
>>98870975

I think there was only 1 tie so far, Superman and Gran Torino had the same percentage and the prior had only one more vote under the hood. Cassie's solution to the problem was a double feature, reacting to both.

Richard Maurer
>>98706299

I could see that being abused. I mean I voted for Superman II but it and JW2 are only getting 13% of the vote. Does that really justify watching them at this time?

Justtired
>>98706299

It was meant to convey my own difficulty in choosing, not a serious request 🤣

nick bell

A nice double header is in order

Richard Maurer
>>98706299

Others seem to be treating it seriously - hard to tell in writing unless you let people know somehow.

Odd Thomas

Watch both; everyone is happy ;)

Planner
>>98919424

Watch Lethal Weapon 2 and The Godfather Part II for being tied first place in the poll, watch Superman II as Cassie's pick, and then watch John Wick 2 because it beat Superman II. Everyone wins 😂 Though in seriousness I do think we'll get to all four of these eventually. And The Matrix. And Hannibal. Mad Max. ... So many good things still to go, even from the franchises that Cassie has already started 😁

Wolf

cmon superman 2 and lethal weapon 2 and john wick 2 lol

Ike

This poll ends in one hour (from this post). What happens if there is a tie?

Jon Jon the Milkshake Man
>>98802791

Probably, but there are big movies that made pretty good showings on polls over a year ago that she just hasn't gotten to, yet. That's why it's funny to me that people are saying she's going to run out of movies after she gets over 700 or some silly number. 🙂 She could easily go two months just watching Clint Eastwood movies that aren't westerns.

Happy Hanukkah

For those interested, Lethal Weapon beat The Godfather 474-467.

Al Swearengen
>>98817635

I just saw it again last month and I'm still confused about one thing. I'll try not to spoil too much, but did Michael order the failed hit in the bar or was it meant to appear to be him by the opposing force?

Darren Gibson

Hey Cassie. Hope you are well and recovered from the recent illness and cold! This "returning" poll made me think of all of your reactions since you started the channel and I would be interested in your top 10 favourite movies of all those you've reacted to? You could perhaps exclude LOTR given you've reacted to those twice now and choose your fave 10 that aren't set in middle earth and do a poll to choose a re-reaction of the most popular, perhaps as a live event? Just a thought. Some of your reactions (A Few Good Men, Misery, The Invisible Man, Ford v Ferrari...) are so rewatchable that I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be happy to revisit movies with you and hear your thoughts on why the movie had such an impact on you when you first watched it. Just a thought! I really enjoy your content 🙌
