Incoming Tech Update (Patreon)

We're moving to a newer game engine. I knew I'd have to let Mr. Bender fix some stuff in the code. That's always going to happen. But, I didn't expect it to also wreck the save games ...

Fine let's make some Slurm out of that worm juice. I'm testing a new function I can add to the current game that will allow exporting game data to a JSON file. Loading a file restores all your progress. Even on a different computer. It might even work for online saves. I'll test that if it does great if not I'll just shut it off there because that wasn't a goal anyway.

This will give all of you a way to retain your saves through the tech update. And, after that you'll have a way to share and swap saves. Because they're just JSON files, they're safe to trade. Inside it's just text.

So, expect an update to this month's release. That will add the Import/Export function. Probably ready in a week. Clearly this month is going to mostly be about new tech.

P.S. Bonus points to anybody who can figure out what Bender sees when he looks at that code.
