when i saw this episode the first time and found out Hannah was dead the whole time made me so sad and rewatching this episode right now made me shed a few thug tears at the end because Hannah is just the sweetest woman, I feel so bad for her😭💔 btw, the reason why she was able to still hold conversations with everyone, be seen by them, etc. is because she didn’t accept the fact that she was dead, she was in denial! peep how when Peter realized he was dead, his hand went straight through the doll but when he kept saying “no no no this can’t be right” he was able to pick the doll back up..same thing with Hannah at the end, she was talking to Owen but soon as she realized what was happening and that she was really dead, she wasn’t able to get their attention anymore so that’s why she kept repeating her name, the year, etc. because deep down she’s still in denial of it and wanted to really believe that she was there with them. it’s heartbreaking💔 but this won’t even be the saddest moment..you just wait😩 I just know i’m gonna ball because I do everytime😭😭

Was so happy when you caught in episode 1 she was a ghost! Took me until this episode lol. When we see her spacing out in the previous episodes, she is having that internal battle with memories/time jumping in what might seem like moments to Dani and others but probably feels just like what this episode did to us (a terrifying vivid nightmare loop of those memories that goes on for hours in her mind) and leaves her confused by the time she’s in present.everything we saw was real memories of actual events that occurred to help us get an insight of why Hannah cares about the family/home so much and how stuff unfolded with Peter/Rebecca. One theory is that Hannah’s desire to take care of the living at Bly (and Bly itself) is such a deep/genuine feeling that materializes and thats why they can all communicate with her!

I always thought her drifting throughout the earlier episodes was basically her refusing to accept her death so she’s just floating around in circles of consciousness & stumbling upon other ghosts circles as well if that makes sense. That’s how I thought she ended up in Rebecca’s memories. Probably being pulled back to her death but fighting the truth. Her fighting so hard is also why everyone can still see & interact with her & that’s probably why bitch made (aka Peter) was staring so hard. Pissed that he has to rely on possessing Miles to get people to talk to him

this entire episode was confusing the first time around, but after watching reaction videos like these it brings in new insight. Watching this episode with you made me realize how big of a role Owen and his mother play. His monologue about her losing herself slowly, and losing the ability to make time make sense is exactly what is going on with Hannah. I also feel like her jumping around can be a visual representation of dementia. It is just extremely sad that life is moving on without her and she will never be able to go to Paris 🥲

watching this series for like the 3rd time (I do love it yes) and I'm just realising that the reason she always comes back to the place where she meets the chef (forgot his name) might be because it's a default memory she goes back to... like a safety net... how cute would that be if it was that ?!
