Hi patrons,

I was just adding my calendars to my shop... so lets just say they are coming soon!! DAYS!!

However, as inspired by my badtober prompt "they should put that on a t-shirt" and my recent miffy redbull design, I thought to use a third party fulfillment center to also have shirts available. I think to myself,, they do all the work and people love shirts! I set them all up, connect them to my shop, place a test order and everything. However, after placing the test order I realized the third party printers take the money from my card to fulfill the order, and I thus get all the money from the sale on my shop. Of course, this makes sense financially, but I am uncomfortable with the idea of a transaction being done on my card, before I actually am able to transfer the funds from my shop to said card. Does this make sense?

I could add a balance to my third party account, so it just draws from that, and I can also control when my card is charged... But I am imagining it being a lot of scheduling and additional transfers on my end to ensure I can always have balance to fulfill the transactions from the third party and approve the orders and all this..

So then I thought to limit the amount of shirts people can order.. and I want them to be nice quality so they're like $45 *crying emoji* and I get like... $10 profit. So I made a 200 count limit.. then I had to decide how much of EACH SIZE I should sell!! And even then I would have to make my third party balance like $7000.... It is just scaring me..

And all of this on top of selling my calendars!!

So maybe I am too afraid to sell shirts right now and I'll save that for later. Or maybe I just do one design.?? But I want to do my miffy design but that's literally two trademarked IPs in one image so that also scares me. Maybe its a no go.. But my shirt designs are so cute!! Maybe I'll get them printed somewhere local and in just one larger size.

So then I was so productive and in the end I didn't even really do one full thing. My heart is sad.

In a perhaps hopeful turn of events: There's no rush. The calendars will only arrive in like a month so I can just sort it out in the mean time. And I did order miffy bumper stickers as well so that's much easier. Perhaps it will be a calendar and sticker shop update.

And a final update: IM GIVING UP ON BADTOBER!!! I'm too busy... but only 5 days left??? My heart will determine what occurs... Also I'll upload all my new entries here soon!

Just needed to voice this so my efforts didn't go unseen...gad

Very valid short essay, truly understand. Excited for the calendar nonetheless, got my bucks saved for it.

I work at a shirt printing company- in terms of size layout, people usually just do a random spread over S M L XL if they're doing a small order, (like if we were doing 50 shirts, it'd probably be something like S-5 M-12 L-20 XL-13, but no one has an exact formula, just usually do more in the middle and less on the sides) but I'm going to recommend that if you are wanting to just do one larger option, LA Apparel 1801 is a very large boxy shirt (made in CA so that's cool) they're a little on the expensive side but the fit is very swaggy
