BADTOBER 15-22 !!! (higher quality this time) (Patreon)

Hi Patrons, good good patrons.

Here are my ((LAST)) badtober entries yes indeed I have given up. It was great fun but I have much else to do... Interesting that this year I used much less posca and much more copics!

DAY 15: STRANGE COLORSThis one kinda ugly I can't lie... well frankly, well yea it is. Not a fan of the colors (perfect for the prompt) and I wish his eyes were huger but we move on with haste.

This is done with a purple artist brush sign pen in purple or whatever the name is, and copic markers and posca!

DAY 16: YOU IF YOU WEREN'T YOUNow this is what I'm talking about. I've been tempted lately by the cowboy persuasion so I wanted to draw someone on a horse. I was gonna draw a huge um... horse with the feet?? A clydesdale or something. And then I was gonna dress him up and make him have the BOTW equipment but I got distracted and made him a naked horse. So maybe he was just tamed. I have no idea what the situation is but yea I guess that's Link on a horse with a flag like I actually have no idea.

This is done with a chisel tip calligraphy pen and copics.

DAY 17: ALL STRAIGHT LINESInspired by my previous entry and unrelated factors, this day I wished to draw yet another horse but more majestic. There's an era of time or a pose of horsie that is elegant and beautiful with its little head pointed down like so. Think carousel horse. And thus, this horse was born. When I was little I think there is nothing more beautiful and treasure than a carousel horse. The aesthetic. Like so magical. I did however capture a more sickening and haunting angle of these horses but I still like it.

This is also done with a chisel tip calligraphy pen and copics and posca for the background.

DAY 18: DRAGON FOR MEAww yay a dragon! I love drawing dragons so muchhhhh. I wanted him to be sorta cute with long wormy arms and very flowing fins(?) all down his back.

I used the artist brush sign pen in black, smudging it in areas for shadow, and went over it in copic!

DAY 19: DANCEThere was never a reality where I wouldn't draw someone from katseye and the whole reason I made this prompt was so I could draw katseye. I drew a frame of Megan doing the candace version of the gap commercial dance for all the online heads out there. She is my favorite... I drew her one single time in the middle and I was like this needs MORE! So I drew her three more times in different brushes without looking at the reference and being more loose and fast with my brushstrokes. I then added some very abstract shadows at the bottom just to fill space and sorta connect them all. And that's it! This one went ultra platinum on the badtober account.

I used an array of different brushpens and chisel tip markers for this and copics for the colors! I went over all of it with a pink color at the end to homogenize the palette.

DAY 21/22: IM INTO IT/RIBBONThis one was an exercise in never giving up when a drawing is bad. I was uninspired by the ribbon prompt so I just made the border a ribbon. If you needed to you could say this ribbon is containing the interests of my past, and fitting that the adventure time is spilling out. Within the ribbon yes is the bands of yore, My Chemical Romance, Green Day and Twenty One Pilots. A good time! At first it just had the Gerard, Billie Joe, and boys at the bottom with the ribbon and the composition was so bad. Also the Billie Joe was ugly and drawing too much attention. So I colored everyone in with copic and very subtly added a Miles Kane and Alex Turner in the middle with no lineart. I then drew all the Adventure Time characters and the text in a thick sharpie and colored the background in outside of them with different colors. I like how crazy it turned out!!
