BADTOBER 2026 DAYS 12-17 (Patreon)

Hi patrons!!

I am back with more of my Badtober entries!!

DAY 12 - 13: yum yum food & rather ornate

This initially was going to be just for day 12's prompt, showing a picnic table of all my current fav foods, but I started drawing it with so much detail that I couldn't finish it in one day. Serendipitously, the next day's prompt was "rather ornate" which is exactly what this ended up becoming. I implore everyone to zoom in on all the details, which are drawn with an alcohol marker base, colored pencil details and a posca background.

DAY 14: What if I drew a landscape?

Like the title suggests, I drew a "landscape." Or considered it, at least. I did this one a day late, since the following day was a free day, and on the 14th I played Flock Around with my friend Ashley! We have been playing this game lately with our friends so I drew everyone on the game's lighthouse! I meant for it to be sorta low-poly, so I kept everything quite flat and drew the details with pencil on each character, rather than rendering them all in color. This is posca and colored pencil!

DAY 15: Free day

DAY 16: POWER!!!!

When I wrote this prompt, I definitely intended to draw batman or something. Just like with the day "brawling." But since then, I've matured. I'm back on my invincible BS. But while scrolling pinterest, this image of Tobey Maguire's preliminary spidey wrestling costume spoke to me. His sort of pathetic appearance and stance endeared me. So I drew it!! I am SO pleased with how this came out. It's way more realistic than I meant to do and it sorta scares me in a good way. This is posca and ink! I smudged a lot of the black which I think helps with the gradient values.

DAY 17: What about me? What I want?

This prompt spoke to me today. I focused my efforts on higher priorities and once exhausting them, I did not want to draw for Badtober. What I truly "wanted" was to get it over with. So I drew this picture of Rick Grimes with a sharpie very hastily. Then I colored it with alcohol marker. I hope you enjoy. I do! Even with its jank.
