ST FINALS + WALLPAPERS: Will and Lucas (Patreon)

Two more from my Stranger Things series!! Will and Lucas. So sad this season :(. Will was very troublesome, his face was strange to draw, and I'm not even sure why. Maybe it was hard to find a good ref, and same for Lucas. I can't believe you can't screenshot from Netflix, and I was too lazy to try another method so I just had to rely on Pinterest to carry me, and they certainly do. 

I think I am spending more and more time on these drawings the more I do them. I spent very long on Lucas' face, and now when I look at my Eleven one I am a little disgusted. It was supposed to just be a fun little moment but I might have to redo hers. Also I feel like there is more to her than just the upside down... I will have to think about that.

I really like the energy of Will's drawing, I love the background, which I suppose is supposed to emulate one of his own drawings, but its kinda funny that it is very much my style. I was going to try to paint it in his style but I didn't want it to clash too much, but it could've been epic now that I think of it. 

For Lucas, I had a hard time figuring out his background, I felt like it was very important to show that he probably feels bad for not being able to save Max, and so he is holding her broken walkman. It's just hard to figure out how to draw it without it being so obvious and still be visually pleasing. Also, this season he was very distressed between being with the basketball boys (if you will) or with his friends. So the 8 is his jersey number and then I also put a fricken some-odd sided die. Very dark overall, matches Max's drawing nicely. Perhaps I would've liked more of a pop in this one like there is in hers.
